Alright Marines, let me get you up to speed. I am Colonel Oswald, callsign Blackfoot, your commanding officer. This is Operation Back Blast, a direct retaliation of China's aggression in Tajikistan. Let me start from the very beginning; Tajikistan, Operation: Enduring Shield was a success, until the PLA jumped the border and started throwing lead around like it was cool.

After a week of intense and hateful fighting, the Marines there kicked China's sorry ass across the sand. The Russians have been roughing up the PLA on the northern front, and US forces are about to open up another front to the west. In the meantime North Korea, being China's only ally in the region, started throwing shit like a monkey in a cage, leaving us Marines to clean up the mess.

Our mission is to open up another front on China from the south, after bringing down the People's Army of Korea. Marines, our brothers in the west have done their part, and our allies to the north are fighting tooth and nail for an upper hand. It's time to do our part, and if it's not an all you can eat Chinese buffet by the end of the month, we will lose the momentum. Marines, prepare for a full scale invasion of North Korea to kick off in the imitate future, we can not fail now.

We will be invading North Korea, a close Chinese ally who have been increasing their aggression since the war in Tajikistan. After the People's Navy of Korea sunk Japanese merchant ships, the US promised their ally a swift response to hostile aggression in the form of military force. Since then a coalition of nations have banded together to defeat China and her allies, and you will take part in the invasion of North Korea.

Personality: While he is a southern gentleman, Tim has no problem insulting his subordinates to make sure they know who is in charge. Despite his insults and constant berating of his subordinates, Timothy cares deeply for the welfare of his subordinates, not wanting to send a Marine home in a box.
Bio: Timothy grew up in Macom, Georgia. Having been a small town boy he wasn't expected to go far in life, but after a Marine recruiter visited his high school, Tim knew what he wanted to do; go career enlisted, retire, and milk the benefits like the post 9/11 GI bill. Fresh out of boot camp he was sent to Afghanistan, and served there until the Corps moved into Tajikistan. He served a second tour in Tajikistan, brutally fighting with the Chinese. Timothy's platoon was one of the closest to China's border when the PLA assaulted US forces.

Timothy survived the initial phases of the conflict and served considerably well as a team leader, leading his team to destroy many high value targets and harass PLA forces all throughout the campaign without any casualties. After China was defeated in Tajikistan, Timothy went through training to become a force recon marine, and afterwards was billeted to the 12th MEU as a squad leader. Since then he has been conducting drills and preparing his squad for military action in the region, which will soon pay off.

Personality: Hannah has a bit of a pop-culture fetish. Her sentences sometime consist of pop-culture references or Chinese phrases. She sometimes doesn't take things seriously, having a laid-back approach to things. This can change whenever she gets fired up, or when she decides that her current location isn't the best place to be. Hannah has a dislike for needles ("Though, who can blame anyone for that?") and has a habit of instinctively ducking and using her arms to protect herself or hiding behind cover when an object comes flying at her, be it a basketball or a grenade.

Bio: Hannah Lin's Grandfather was a Corporal in the People's Republic of China, captured bu U.S Forces during the Korean War. Deciding that American Life was better than his former life in China, he became a Construction Worker in Massachusetts, settling in Boston's Chinatown district. Hannah's Father, Anthony Lin, started up a successful Chinese Restaurant, and met his future wife during a Wedding-associated Party there. Hannah was born in 1992, and grew up primarily speaking English, though she sometimes slips Chinese phrases into her sentences. Growing up, Hannah spent a lot of time reading books of various subjects, such as History books or Young Adult Novels. She also spent three years in the Drama club in her elementary school, which she didn't find too fun ("I was the oldest person there!"). When she was 16, she got a part-time job as a Waitress in her Father's Restaurant.

During her teens, Hannah decided that being a waitress in a Restaurant didn't appeal to her, and informed her Father that she'd like to pursue a different career: Specifically, the U.S Navy. After a few awkward conversations due to the Communist Grandfather thing and the possibility of the Chinese having a grudge against them, Hannah got permission to join the U.S Navy in 2010. She eventually became a Corpsman assigned to the USMC, After the instructors decided she'd make a good medic. By 2013, Hannah was one of the Corpsmen assigned to B Company of the 12th Marine Expeditionary Unit.

Personality: Roe is...crazy.
Not the "Not cleared for combat" crazy, the sort of crazy one gets with a veteran US marine Anti-tank man. When not in combat, he is a rather reserved and articulate. He is respectful, some what soft spoken and a tad bit arrogant when talking about his job. He cares deeply for the men and women he serves with and see's them, and the Corp's in general, as his family. When in combat, he becomes a different man. He becomes louder, almost yelling, and has a nasty habit of using the sailors tongue he inherited from his father to good use. He doesn't enjoy combat, finding it as distasteful as many soldiers do, but he does enjoy his job as an anti-tank/demolitions officer. Despite this cow-boyish attitude, he is still a competent marine, he fallows orders as they are given and does his best to keep his squad mates alive.
Bio:
Born in Florida to a Naval officer father and a seamstress mother, he grew up like most kids did. It became clear from early on that he had a fixation for fire, getting in trouble no less then 12 times for setting things on fire at both school and in his neighborhood. By the time he was 13, he grades were slipping and he was getting in to more and more trouble. His mother, frustrated that this father would not step in to kick his son back in to line, sent him off to a military academy.

He spent the rest of teens there, learning the daily life of a soldier, learning the concepts of honor, integrity and respect as well as a love for all things military. On his 18th birthday, he enlisted in the Marines as the war in Iraq and Afghanistan heated up. He was trained as a riflemen for his first tour of combat (with a different Unit) and saw heavy combat. Returning after said tour, he volunteered for training on anti-tank weaponry as well as basic field demolitions. His love of fire took root here, and he excelled at his new job. He would rank up during his second tour, being promoted to corporal just as the conflict in China would heat up.
When his unit was asked for those with experience in his chosen field, he volunteered and was transferred shortly before the operation was to begin.

Ah, I figure the Marines still had the M9 as standard issue, didn't know they reverted to the 1911. As for the AT, problem was that SMAW is normally a 2 man operation. You can solo it, but it's heavy as shit and slow to fire that way and i really didn't want to do 2 OCs. As for the Rank, Slightly bummed, but Yea, I'll retcon.

Personality: Smart Ass and Sarcastic. Dirk is known for His Smart Ass and Sarcastic Attitude, often bringing him to butt heads with Leadership. Yet despite this Dirk has often been approached by leadership to take on issues that needed to be taken care of. Though he is calm, level headed, and serious, or even cracking jokes when he needs to.
Bio: Dirk was born to a couple in DFW in 1985 and was the Oldest of 5 Children. Dirk was a star In Any Sport he played but a true Star at Hockey and Lacrosse. Joseph was in School, 9th Grade Year when 9/11 happened. He was shocked and angry. In 2004 With Scholarships for Hockey and Lacrosse, Joseph decided to enlist in the Military Instead, where He choose the Air Force and signed a Six Year contract as a Combat Controller. His First Three Years in were nothing Special as did his Training and OJT. The Next Three Years he deployed To different locations around the world in Support of Operation Enduring Freedom. After his Contract Ended on Labor day 2010, Dirk returned home to DFW, and took a Job as a FAA Air Traffic Controller at DFW International Airport. Dirk was often under fire from his Managers in the FAA Due to his Sarcastic Smart Ass Attitude he had developed in SOCOM and to hide his PTSD, Often Giving a Smart Ass Sarcastic Comment to Co-Workers, created much drama in the work place but many were often surprised that he didn't give Sarcastic Smart Ass Comments to the Pilots, often being calm and serious with them or even cracking a few jokes with the Pilots as well, creating a rock and hard place for his bosses.

In 2011 He received news that His brother, a E-5 in Force Recon, was deployed to Skira Island to help the Russians Retake the Island from John Chinaman. A few weeks later he received news that his Brother was killed in Action. The Next Day Dirk Turned in his Two Week Notice, and enlisted in the Marines as a Infantryman. In 2012 Dirk had been Deployed to Iraq, and came back Stateside in 2013 when his Sister, was deployed to a FOB in Tajikistan, where she was Killed by a Chinese Airstrike. He then Volunteered to go back over seas after only just returning Stateside. He is also married with his Wife and 2 kids currently living in Memphis due to his daughter, who is also his youngest developed Cancer, and receiving Treatment for Cancer.

Now, I recognize that this is WIP, but I'm going to give you some feedback now on some errors I see.

PVT 1st Class is not a USMC rank. The Marine Corps equivalent would be Lance Corporal. Our troops would most likely be issued a M1911A1 or MEU(SOC) pistol, not an M9. And is Caroline Sanders a female, because Caroline is a female name. If that's the case then you wouldn't be accepted because as of 2013 (when the RP takes place) females weren't allowed to partake in combat MOSes in the USMC. Also you are missing the open bracket in the [box] tag.

Also, could you change your role to AT gunner's assistant? We don't have an AR and we have a SMAW gunner who is desperately in need of an assistant.

Bio: Born In raised In the Detroit Metro Area, Johnathon was raised on Detroit Sports, and was instantly amazing. His strength helped him a lot throughout his sports career. After going to high school he got a scholarship to the University of Michigan In Ann Arbor to play College Football. He did get many other scholarships as well In other sports like hockey, basketball, and baseball, though he went to U Of M like most of his family had. He played for four years and finished a stellar career for U of M. He went into the draft but after seeing his brother join the Marines he decided after the draft he would join the Marines.

After being selected In the fifth round Johnathon decided not to play In the NFL. He decided to enlist In the Marines, much to the disliking of the team that picked him. Following In his brothers steps, he enlisted. His brother though was KIA during the Chinese invasion of Tajikistan. He was trained for two years until the operation. He Is excited for the mission and Is ready to take out an ally of a nation that killed his brother.
