Galaxies for sale!

Postby The Great Devourer of All » Tue Jul 18, 2017 2:18 pm

The Ravagery has found itself with a worrying abundance of a strange substance known as "boredom" as of late, and has elected to get rid of this problem by selling some shit.

Since we do not by any stretch of the imagination have a shortage of galaxies or similarly large groups of stars and celestial matter, we will be selling these heavenly bodies at quite a reasonable price, shown below. Bulk orders of any size are allowed unless explicitly stated otherwise.

For the purposes of this sale, each galaxy can be purchased for 1.5 tredecillion NSD per one hundred billion stars (ten million to one trillion stars allowed). Stellar mass is irrelevant and cannot be customized. The shape of each galaxy may be spiral, barred spiral, elliptical, or irregular, and you may choose to have no globular clusters, a below-average quantity of globular clusters, an average quantity of globular clusters, or an above-average quantity of globular clusters. All payments must be made in the form of a raw material (H3, positrons, etc.). Local currencies and currencies spanning multiple civilizations are equally invalid for the purposes of this exchange.

Code: Select all
[box]Name of purchaser:
Number of galaxies to be purchased:
Type of galaxies:
Approximate stellar population of galaxies:
Globular cluster abundance:
How would you like us to deliver these galaxies?:
Special requests:[/box]

Example order

Name of purchaser: The Republic of Generic NS Nation
Number of galaxies to be purchased: 143
Type of galaxies: Spiral (90), barred spiral (40), elliptical (10), irregular (3)
Approximate stellar population of galaxies: 150 billion stars (all spiral), 120 billion (all barred spiral), 40 billion (all elliptical), 18 billion (all irregular)
Globular cluster abundance: Average (all spiral and barred spiral), below average (all elliptical and irregular)
How would you like us to deliver these galaxies?: Array them in four nested rings based on mass, with lower-mass ones in the outer rings and higher-mass ones in the inner rings. Space them out just enough so that the entire system is stable. Place this structure ten million light-years away from our galaxy group (coordinates will be sent alongside this order).
Special requests: Please fill 10% of the spiral and barred spiral galaxies with sapient life in world-to-species ratios similar to that of our own galaxy. Ensure that the other galaxies will not develop complex multicellular life.

Yes if you were getting replies. But if you haven't gotten any replies on your thread within 24 hours of its creation, let it die.

That indeed is the rule, you've done nothing wrong. The fact of the matter is Argentinstan, the OP is bumping because he hasn't seen a reply in that 24hrs. That's why bumping exists. If he got a reply within 24hrs he wouldn't need to bump the thread back to the front page now would he? Regardless if it looks good or is morally right (bumping is nothing to be ashamed of, trust me), bumping while following the 24hr rule is perfectly acceptable and is by no means wrong. Telling someone to let their thread die because they didn't get a reply within the first 24hrs is rude and that's no way active GE&T players should teach newer participants in this forum.

Creating an otherwise empty pocket universe to house your galaxies will cost an extra 2.7 tredecillion NSD.

As we do not inhabit your universe, you must at the very least specify a radius within which we should place the purchased galaxy, with your galaxy of origin as the center of the circle.

We can add stable wormholes if you would like them, but each one will cost an extra 0.0001% of the starting price of your galaxy per 10,000 light-years of space bridged by said wormholes. We can link one of the ends of these wormholes to stars outside of the galaxy you wish to purchase, with the same metric being applied.

We will take our payment in positrons.

One wormhole linking the Milky Way and our new galaxy should be sufficient. We acknowledge the fee for wormhole linkage. In view of the additional fee associated with distance, we request that the galaxy be placed as close as possible to the Milky Way without causing gravitational disruption of either (preferably within 1 million LY). Payment will be furnished in full, in magnetically confined positrons, upon delivery.

Your order has been filled. Due to the exceedingly small size of your galaxy, we were able to place it within 50,000 light-years of the outer rim of your native galaxy.

Greetings the Greatest Devourer of All,
As is my divine commission to expand my realm till my death I require land to preside over. What more interesting land to preside over then that in the shifting seas of the Immaterium? I can only pay half the requested monetary value, but I can make up the difference from my tithes of organic matter within a Terran century.

Be always hungry,
Count Eccliusticus D'Sha'Miok

Name of purchaser: Fiefdom of Arkenlix
Number of galaxies to be purchased: 2
Type of galaxies: one spiral and the other elliptical
Approximate stellar population of galaxies: 255 billion and 415 billion respectively
Globular cluster abundance: low for the spiral and high for the elliptical
How would you like us to deliver these galaxies?: Plop them in the Immaterium at the coordinates given.
Special requests:We ask that you surround the galaxies some sort of temporary (20 years at least) null field that surrounds the galaxies. I would also like for you to send a detailed report of things that will mess with it, the last thing I need is to have the Immaterium poring unto my vassals because some one itched their nose the wrong way.

Name of purchaser: Dr. Andreiu Maury-Povich Jesusville
Number of galaxies to be purchased: 893
Type of galaxies: All possible types
Approximate stellar population of galaxies: Irrelevant / Does not matter
Globular cluster abundance: low
How would you like us to deliver these galaxies?: Our pan-civilization has the ability of inter-universal travel. They do not have to be "delivered," as Dr. Jesusville is a private citizen, he can supply his own transportation.
Special requests: Specifically, what type of materials do you wish to acquire? Dr. Jesusville is a very wealthy man and has many resources at his disposal.

THIS IS THE VOICE OF THE KATARAX. --- All sexual activity is pointless and counterproductive | All citizens are required to register their identification bio-scopes | Serve and defend THE KATARAX with all your life | All opposition to THE KATARAX will be destroyed | Religion is a sign of weakness and cowardice

Name of purchaser: Korzeulius Haetherius
Number of galaxies to be purchased: 1
Type of galaxies: Grand Design Spiral Galaxy
Approximate stellar population of galaxies: 2.6 Trillion
Globular cluster abundance: 22.3%
How would you like us to deliver these galaxies?: As stealthily as possible, beside the Federacia Galaxy designated Universe 8d57-fE2ξ-D, watch out, known to cause several Yggdrasil-Class Severance Events, and has limited Multiversal Travel Capability. Dont get the Office of Multiversal Incidents' attention is top priority, we dont want our universe to have a forced Yggdrasil-Class Severance Event. If this Stealth Order cannot be completed within 2 Days from its original order date we will ask for a refund. If the order can be done within less than a day or a minute we will also pay additional fees for the MFTL+ Travel for the galaxy.
Special requests:Atleast 32.4% of the Terrestrial Planets are habitable or near habitable conditions.
