"Depends, dude! For example, Capital Minutemen and Neon Suns all have sealed armors, which can act both as armor and hazmat. As for those, with regular hazmats... They can be really unwieldy in the long runs and fights... Add a heatwave, and this is just a wearable mini hell. Sure, our folks can fight in them, but trust me, you wouldn't want to be using chemical weapons agaisnt them, because should they get to those using chemical weapons, few would envy users' fate."-Man-at-arms.

"In Skyhooked, it's totally fine and acceptable to carry a sword in the open, be it a fancy and elegant rapier, or heavy bastard sword. Just like any other weapon. Well, sure this old world weapon won't be as awesome as assault rifle, but in case your gun jams or ya' found yourself outta ammo, a sharp choppa is your friend and comrade. It's mostly a sidearm though. In good ol' Skyhooked ya' can find a large variety, from katanas to heavy bastards (two handers didn't stick). Neon Suns also have energy katanas, they are just like Star Wars lightsabers, although less awesome. Either way, we have several articles in our magazine about swordsmanship. But melee is mostly secondary. Primarely, we use guns and bullets."-Skyhookedian Arms Association.
