The Peaceful Principality of Seebahn has been disturbed by a coup attempt. The plotters launched two attacks. One against the Princely family and another against the political institutions in the capital. The first one failed when accidentally discovered by the Master of the Hunt.

The second part was partially successful as military forces entered the capital.

The Princely family must now flee to a safe location and organize the loyal forces.

Foreign nations can support either the coup plotters or the Prince. Either way military involvement will be limited. This isn't a war RP.

Also, possible is for other nations to RP characters in the Princely family such as spouses or a civilian living or visiting Seebahn.

I haven't decided what the reason for the coup would be. I first thought it would be a naked power grab, but on second thought it seems unrealistic so many people would be involved. If you want to be behind the coup we can fit the reason to fit your nation.

1: What is the political climate currently?
2: Why would people be performing a Coup against the current regime?
3: What is the policies of the current government and of those performing the Coup?

1. The climate is that there is a coup Before the coup things were relatively peaceful and stable. Seebahn is a parliamentary monarchy with a fairly democratic government. The Prince still influences policy and the formation of governments. He does this mainly by selecting Prime Ministers that are centrist.

2. The possible reasons are legion, the exact reason I haven't decided on. I thought I covered that already.

3. The coup plotters have yet to declare their policy. The current government is centrist, leaning conservative. Liberal conservative that is.
