Introduction


Blue Bird Airlines is the largest airline in the Santiland Republic, in terms of passengers and value. The Blue Bird Corporate HQ (1192 Ezell Ave.) is located in Downtown Greenport. Blue Bird Airlines' main hub is Greenport International Airport (GIA), their center of operations is Terminal D which is solely for Blue Bird Airlines, its subsidiaries and its partners.

Our History[u/]


Blue Bird Airlines was founded in 1961 by Robert W. Smith as a small charter service between Greenport and Applesburg using one Beechcraft 35-A33. Smith's brother, Edgar T. Smith, took over the charter and transformed it into a full-service domestic airline in a matter of 10 years using jet age aircraft. By 1980, the airline had expanded into South America and North America, it had become the largest airline in Santiland. It continued expanding until it had routes to Europe and Asia using Boeing's 747-100. Today, Blue Bird Airlines and its subsidiaries transport more 140,000,000 million passengers worldwide. The current CEO is Henry Turner and he has been the CEO since 2009.

Classes


Blue Bird Airlines and its subsidiaries offer (Except Blue Bird Connect and Blue Bird Express) 4 different classes (not available on all aircraft), Economy, Economy++, Business and First Class.

Economy Class

Economy class is the standard class and is available on all aircraft. Economy class offers leather seats with 33-inch legroom and personal mini-TVs and free Wi-Fi of up to 5 mbps. Seats are also reclinable. 15 mbps Wi-Fi is available for 20 $D for the whole flight. Meals and drinks are provided on flights 1 and half hours or longer. Snacks are provided on flights shorter than 1 and half hours and flights longer than 4 hours.

Please note that all classes have access to 48 hour free cancellation and 36 hour flight change and Blue Bird Taxi.







Economy++

Economy++ is the premium economy class of Blue Bird Airlines. It offers complementary ear plugs, complementary 15 mbps Wi-Fi and on-demand entertainment on the mini-TVs. Seats are leather padded with 36-inch legroom and are reclinable. Meals and drinks are available on flights 1 and half hours or longer. Snacks are available on flights of all lengths, along with drinks. Economy++ is only available on select Blue Bird Express aircraft. Economy++ passengers can enjoy priority boarding and 25% discount on upgrades.








Business Class

Business class is the second highest class in Blue Bird Airlines and the highest class in Blue Bird Connect and Blue Bird Express. It is available in most aircraft expect in AIRPLANE LIST. As in all other classes, mini-TVs with on-demand entertainment is available. Seats are leathered padded with fine leather from Silent Valley (the best producer of fine leather in the nation), are almost fully-reclinable and have 45-inch legroom. Meals and drinks are available on flights 1 and half hours long and snacks are available on lights of all lengths. Business class passengers can enjoy priority boarding, designated business/first class check-in lounge access and complementary 20 mbps Wi-Fi. Business class passengers also get 45% discount on upgrades.









First Class

First class is the highest class in Blue Bird Airlines and is only available in long-haul flights and select medium and short-haul flights. TVs are available in every booth with a remote controller, a Blu-Ray player and on-demand entertainment. Full-course meals are available on long and medium haul flights with drinks snacks also available. Seats are fully reclinable, leathered padded with Silent Valley fine leather with 59-inch legroom. First class passengers can enjoy priority boarding, lounge access, designated business/first class check-in and complementary 25 mbps Wi-Fi.

All Wi-Fi access is provided by ConnectArgwhich is based in Argentinstan.

Lounges


Blue Bird Airlines currently offers two types of lounges: SkyLounge and McDougal Lounge -named after the first president of Santiland.

SkyLounge

SkyLounge is the flag-ship lounge of Blue Bird Airlines. It can be accessed by those with a valid Lounge Pass. The lounge offers a buffet with gourmet food. Food can also be made to order. Most food and drinks are locally produced. Lounge chairs are located near the windows with a view of the tarmac and its designated gate. The lounge also features mood lighting, free high-speed Wi-Fi (50 mbps), lounge boarding, alcoholic (2 glasses per person) or non-alcoholic drinks, and sleeping pods.




McDougal LoungeImage

McDougal lounge is a smaller, but still as luxurious, lounge. It is more private with personal booths facing the tarmac and even featuring a conference room. It is preferred by travelling world leaders and business travelers travelling in groups. McDougal lounge features the same amenities that the SkyLounge offers.
