What to Expect with the Upcoming Coronation

Kingsbridge, Cill Airne - Quickly approaching is Bréanainn II's coronation ceremony, marking official his ascent to the throne of Cill Airne. King Bréanainn II, who is commonly referred to as "the people's King" due to his laid-back nature and ability to interact with the people of Cill Airne easily, has served as the Monarch of Cill Airne since 06 April, 2016 when his father, King Bréanainn I passed away.

With the Coronation scheduled for 14 July, preparations for the historical ceremony are underway. Delegates from around the globe are expected to be in attendance to the ceremony, including members of the Royal Families of Magashegyi and Jeongui. Many world leaders, from presidents and prime ministers to parliamentarians have also been invited to the ceremony and are expected. With this many heads of state and government expected in Kingsbridge, you can expect security will be increased through out the city.

Fáilbhe Ó Flannail, the Commissioner of An Garda Síochána, the national police service of Cill Airne, has stated that Gardaí presence in Kingsbridge is expected to double the days leading up to the Coronation Ceremony. "Garda from around the nation are being sent to Kingsbridge to help bolster the numbers during this event" Ó Flannail told Seachtain. He stated that members of the Army were also being called in to bolster Garda numbers during the coronation. "This is not unusual. Part of their contract states that when needed soldiers of the Cill Airiochin Defence Forces will aid An Garda Síochána."

The Coronation Ceremony itself will take place at Kingsbridge Cathedral, pictured to the left. Kingsbridge Cathedral, formally known as St. Patrick's Cathedral, was founded in 1191 and has served as the home for Coronation Ceremonies since the 1483 Coronation of King Dubhe. Historically, only those invited at the request of the Monarch were permitted to observe the ceremony, but for the first time in history people around the world will be able to watch the Coronation Ceremony of the People's King. Although the inside of the Cathedral will be reserved for invited guests only, His Grace has invited Seachtain News to broadcast the ceremony live, around the globe. This will be the first time in history a coronation ceremony has been viewed by the outside public. Towns across the nation are planning public viewing parties in their town squares. The day of the ceremony has been declared a national holiday.

The Muscovite tribes were numerous, and it was no small feat to unite them into one federation. But one man, Daniil Aleksandrovich did just that in 1283. Forming the Grand Federation of Muscovia his heirs and successors would become the Grand Dukes of Muscovia.

But by the 17th century Muscovia was known to Western Earandel as backwater, lacking culture and refinement, and stuck in the past. Feodor I declared himself Emperor of the Muscovites and soon saw his empire expanding east and south.

Feodor the Great created what was known as "проектов" - proyektov, literally meaning projects. These projects were detailed plans for the modernisation of Muscovite state, ranging from science to culture to literature. As each project was issued the plans detailed were followed. By his death in 1678 Muscovia was known as a rival to western Earandel.

But his ambition passed on to his son, Michael II. Continuing to expand, Muscovia was truly known for its grandeur.

This changed in the 20th century. Civil war after civil war, stagnating economics, famine and disease marked the first 80 years of the century. By 1983, when the dictatorship of Vladamir Petkov ended Muscovia had lost it's prestige.

To this day many ask if Muscovia is too stagnant. Scientific breakthroughs rarely happen due to the current administration's lack of focus on science. The arts have suffered too. There has been no major economic growth in over two decades.

This has led to new tensions, with many saying the current political climate is similar to 1913 leading up to the first Muscovite Civil War - between the Republicans and Monarchists. This has lead some to speculate protests and riots could soon follow, and in a worst case scenario the 5th Muscovite Civil War since 1913.

Special Recognition Given to Dr. Hojîn Siwar!

Saturday, July 08th - 1130P.M.
Qazvin, Eranshahir - Dr. Hojîn Siwar has been recognised by the Eranian Government today at a ceremony recognizing her contributions to the medical field. Dr. Siwar, born in rural Kordistan (Kurdistan), was no stranger to the problems Kurdish people faced in rural Kordistan. "There's a lack of clean water, which leads to many waterborne diseases." Dr. Siwar and her team have worked at preventing these, including the distribution of water filters allowing people to drink filtered water. She has also spent many months travelling the region to set up medical clinics.

Kurdistan has remained a remote region of Eranshahir due to the lack of roads into the region. Many locals live in small villages without electricity or running water, and very few roads connect the region to the rest of Eranshahir. However, recently elected President Teymoor Farsad has promised to change this. Farsad has recently created the anjoman ahsani yadi - the council for a better tomorrow. Dr. Siwar has been named one of the councillors for this new committee. The AAY is to work with local residents, and national companies to build modern infrastructure into Kordistan. This includes roads, water towers/pipes, electric lines, etc. Under Farsad's plan local residents who help in this initiative will not be required to pay for a modern house.

"Chancellor Karl von Weiss Dead"

Rosenheim Stadt, Rosenheim - The Central State Media Office has confirmed that Karl von Weiss died peacefully in his sleep last night. The Central Media Office has not commented on the cause of death, but insisted that he died naturally in his sleep. Although the Chancellor, who was last seen on Wednesday giving a public speech, was generally thought to have been in good health, the elderly von Weiss had just celebrated his 86th birthday last April.

Following his death the Government implemented the "Transitional Emergency Protocol" - created in 2015 for the event that the Chancellor did die. Under this protocol the Vorsitzender, Joseph Aschner, is required to call a meeting of Reichstag to discuss and select the next Chancellor of Rosenheim. This emergency meeting was held at 830 this morning, and lasted several hours. At 1345 Aschner, who just celebrated his 90th birthday, announced Joseph Schaetzl had been selected by the Reichstag to be the next Chancellor of Rosenheim. Schaetzl, pictured above, is only 38 but has served the nation since he was 18. Schaetzl assumes control of the Reichstag Monday morning.

Jibrail Al-Rashid to Visit Qazvin, Eranshahir!

Ramallah, Mawtini - Premier Jibrail Al-Rashid has announced that he intends to travel to Qazvin, Eranshahir to negotiate a peace treaty between the two states. The two countries have been at war since Jibrail Al-Rashid's great-grandfather, Abdelrahman Al-Rashid secured independence for Mawtini in 1949. Despite being at war since 1949, the first conflict did not occur until 2015 when Eranian military forces assassinated Saif Al-Rashid, Jibrail's father. This sparked a year-long conflict with Eranshahir claiming sovereignty over Mawtini. Eranhahir has not recognised Mawtinian Independence since 1949. In 2016 a cease-fire was signed.

Mawtini, formerly known as Eastern Yaramaqui, along with Western Yaramaqui, also known as Yezriya, formed the Yaramaqui Province of Eranshahir. In 1947 this province was granted autonomy and was renamed IYAR - Independent Yaramaquese Autonomous Region. In 1949 when Eastern Yaramaqui declared independence, the name was changed to Mawtini, the local name in Arabic.

Jibrail Al-Rashid has stated he wishes to visit the IYAR while visiting Eranshahir to negotiate peace between the two states. The Eranian government has not yet confirmed whether they will allow the Mawtinian leader entry into IYAR, due to the fear his presence could lead to protests by Yezriyan nationalists who believe Mawtini should be a part of Yezriya. They also fear his presence may lead to protests from the other side, Yezriyan independence seekers.

Parliamentarian Makes Controversial Claim!

Veliko Tarnovo, Athenasius - Parliamentarian Krasimir Karakachanov, of the Athenasian Nationalist Party, made what has been called one of the most controversial statements in Athenasian history today. While campaigning in the village of Konstantsа, known as Constanța in Romanian, in Eastern Athenasius the Parliamentarian stated that Atanase is, in fact, a part of Athenasius. He cited old legends from the days of the Athenasian Empire as proof of this during his speech. Konstantsa has a large Atanasian minority. The Parliamentarian was quickly booed off stage.

People who were watching the speech reported that "I wasn't considering voting for a racist party anyways. But now? Now I wouldn't consider it even if you paid me!" Although the Nationalist Party does well in some rural areas it has struggled to gain votes in Eastern Athenasius due to it's Atenasian minority. In 2003 the party tried to ban usage of Romanian language in Athenasius, though this was quickly voted against by other parties. Since this fiasco, areas with Atenasian minorities have struggled largely refused votes for them.

Eranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Grants Approval to Al-Rashid!

Tuesday, July 11th - 0120A.M.
Qazvin, Eranshahir - Jasoor el-Abbas, Minister of Foreign Affairs, announced late Monday evening that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has granted Jibrail Al-Rashid, Premier of Mawtini, a travel visa for Eranshahir, including the Autonomous Region of IYAR. Al-Rashid, who has lead Mawtini as its unelected leader since his father's assassination in 2015, applied for a travel visa. Citizens of Mawtini have travel restrictions placed on them by the Eranian government to travel within Eranshahir. Currently the Eranian government does not recognise Mawtini's independence, although Mawtini has in affect been independent since 1949. Al-Rashid will be visiting the Eranian capital, Qazvin, to discuss a peace-treaty and recognition of Mawtinian independence from Eranshahir.

Although the Government gave him permission to travel to Qazvin for the negotiations, he applied for a 2 week long travel visa to visit places throughout Eranshahir. His application included a request to visit IYAR, which requires approval from the Minister of Foreign Affairs himself for any Mawtinian citizen. Al-Rashid was granted this permission last night by the Minister of Foreign Affairs but this decision has already seen a backlash from the Eranian public.

Some citizens are claiming that el-Abbas only approved the application because Al-Rashid is a Muslim. El-Abbas is the first Muslim to hold the office of Minister of Foreign Affairs within Eranshahir, and has approved more applications for Mawtinian visitors than any of his predecessors. El-Abbas has approved 378 applications for a travel visa to IYAR since he became Minister of Foreign Affairs in 2016. Since 1949 only 187 have ever been granted. The Minister has stated that he granted the application because the Mawtinians and Yaramaquese are closely related people, and were once a united country - and that Al-Rashid wishes to visit the land his ancestors once knew. He will be the first person of the Al-Rashid dynasty to visit IYAR since his great-grandfather, who was born in Yaramaqui before Mawtinian independence.

'Yezriyan Nationalism on the rise?', Yaramaquese opinions on the visit of Jibrail Rashid

Malafaqüm, IYAR, Eranshahir - Since 1955, Êrgudeyê-yë Timadeyyê was founded, upon the principles that the Yezri Jewish people deserve an independent state outside of the international influence of surrounding countries. On the 10th of July in the year 1955 marks the sixty-second year since the founding of the part and the rise of Yezri Nationalism.

Yezri Nationalism did not only begin in 1955, such opinions were held by secular Yezri Jews in both Marah and Earendel through various exchanges from periods as early as the 19th century, with some scholars arguing as early as the late 18th century across the diaspora of the world. The belief of Yezri Nationalists, whether they be Jews in the diaspora or Yezris in IYAR, was the reestablishment of a characteristically Jewish State would promise the safety and security of the Jewish people from the nations of the world and promote unity amongst the Jewish people. Observant Jews around the world acted in outrage, reasoning that the survival of the Jewish people was not grounded upon nationalistic tendencies, but through Torah observance. They reasoned that the three oaths are halachically binding and that such ideas against the immediate creation of a state are not grounding in Torah principles. In 1956, just a year after the founding of Êrgudeyê-yë Timadeyyê ¹the current exilarch at the time, the father of the current one, His Excellency, Ḥamnûna Şeşet bin Ḥama Meʿaşa Âdowīdî Mîn-Tamràt, ruled that Yezri Nationalism 'runs contrary to the very heart of Torah and should be seen as a house of ignorance'.

The response of the leaders of Êrgudeyê-yë Timadeyyê where of an article claiming the exilarchate being an illegitimate position, one that should only be removed and forgotten, that his Judaism is inflexible'. The leaders promoted mixed-gender congregations, the relaxing of the laws of kashrut, modesty, and various other laws. As a result, the movement was announced 'a movement of the gentiles'. Overtime, the movement split into various groups, from more strongly 'secular' branches, and 'observant' branches of the movement. The various branches that were once Êrgudeyê-yë Timadeyê had various disagreements in the 70s and split into various factions.

One faction, Âksïl Tîs-ë Dozamayê², which was a particularly active faction from the 70s to mid 80s, demonstrated in the form of violent protests leading to riots throughout IYAR to establish a halachic state through force, and to force non-Jews eastwards, into Mawtini and to allow a Jewish state in the land of what is now IYAR. The group collaborated with the Qëquzara³, a group which desires the unification of Yezri and Mawtinian states, in the 1983 uprising against Eranian control over the region, in hopes of achieving their objective but realised a powerful defeat by Eranian forces.

Since 1983, such uprisings have not occurred to the major scale they did for the past 34 years. Local government elections usually do not result in voting results any higher than 10%, but in recent years the numbers have been gradually rising. The various factions, though widely unpopular amongst several Yezri Jews and non-Jews, have gained voters over the years. "What does this mean? I do not want 1983 to happen again!" exclaims an elder.

Such concerns are indeed found across the region. However, some argue that the random spikes of Yezri Nationalism are simply 'statistical noise', that is not a significant difference for any concerned. "There is no reason to fear" says Yaḥya Yissokhor ban Shalomo Yirmâyohu, the head of the the Êrgudeyê Dāʿatiyê-yë Âksalî⁴. "G-d is on our side. The amount of support fluctuates and this is all within the norm".

Many Yezri are concerned that such nationalists are going to be particularly vocal during the time of Mawtinian leader, Jibrail Al-Rashid, who may visit IYAR. "I do not mind the visiting of Jibrail Al-Rashid. He has the right to come and see our country. He must know however that most Yezri people are happy under Eranian leadership. By all means he is allowed to get to know the land that his ancestors once knew as they say. If the nationalists are going to make a commotion in regards to it, this is too bad, because there is no need for such." added ban Yirmâyohu, the head of ÊDʿÂ. Other Yezri Jews are in tendency to such support, with the ÊDʿÂ⁵ being a very popular party in IYAR. Yezri Arab politician Yusuf ibn Ḥazim Êş-şarawî, head of Êrgudeyê Tawḥêd-ë ʿArâbayyê⁶, not only endorses the arriving of Jibrail Al-Rashid, but wishes for he to have a 'long stay'. "Our troubles will be over one day, insha'allah. This marks a day of peace, not war."

Yaʿir "Abî-yë Şaqrâ"⁷ bin Simlai Zamina Âmizqorayî, a member of the Qëquzara, reportedly stated that "his arrival will be the beginning of the ending of 70 years of "limited freedom in chains" under the Eranian government. "We will join our brethren to the East, and we shall prosper free, united, and independent. Not fractured, in chains, and in disunity." Many Yezris were weary of his statements. Other Yezris, have much more stronger, violent opinions on the arrival of such leaders. " I am a member of Âksïl Tîs-ë Dozamayê, and I will not stand for the arrival of such leaders like the Al-Rashid, יא”ל⁸! I will not tolerate this dog for arrival in the country and if he thinks he can walk our our land, it will mean war!" exclaims an unidentified man.

The discussions of the arrival of a member of Mawtinian leadership sparked conversations and debates from various places from social media outlet, E'raz Avaz⁹ to public parks. The fears of the rise of Yezri nationalism and the surrounding events surrounding of the possible arrival of Jibrail Al-Rashid have even prompted responses from His Excellency, the exilarch himself during one of his lectures. He reportedly said,

Good evening my beloved brothers and sisters. In light of the following events of the suspected rise of those who want us to have a Jewish State, may they be obliterated and uprooted, the media reportedly said that there are is a rise in Yezris which identify with their views. This is nothing from the unsual. Such horrors were heard before and after the 1983 uprisings, they come and leave. There is no reason to fear. What we must do is demonstrate them knowledge. As an Eranian citizen such as myself, a proud Yezri and a proud Jew, there is no need for us to have a state at this time for it would only cause bloodshed,
as it is known through our scholars, may their memories be exalted. I welcome Al-Rashid into our land, and I only wish him peace. May he not incite the horrific men in our midst that wish for the violent uprooting of Yezri Jewish lives. It surely will be in order, as long as such incitement does not occur. This is all that I ask from him.
We are happy in our country and I do not see this changing any time soon.

"I approve such statements," says Mikha'îl Ṣalîbi bin Yoḥan Âyawanî, the head of the Êrgudeyê Naṣarîdi-yë Ḥazatīyyê.¹⁰ "May G-d keep Al-Rashid in peace, on behalf of all Christians in IYAR."

The responses to the Exilarch's statements were generally met with approval by most and strong criticisms by others, including groups such as Âksïl Tîs-ë Dozamayê and some fringe members of the Qëquzara, who've sent numerous death threats to the exilarch over the past decades since the the 1983 uprising. In great anticipation for how the social and political climate shall be upon the arrival of Al-Rashid, it is unknown what will occur from his arrival.

New King To Be Coronated

Mäq'älä, Wolleqa - Early Tuesday Morning began with an eventful, ornate procession giving the public notice to the great coronation of a new king.

Thousands of people scattered around, ignoring whether they had breakfast or not, filled with anxiety to find a place to witness the sacred event.

The relaxed stood at their balconies to witness the event - today is the day. Preparations for his majesty had been tended to and developed over the course of several weeks.

The sacred processions and rites associated with the installation of his majesty, Yaqub Addisalem Zera Taffari, will begin at approximately 1530 hours tomorrow, starting at the Kïlïl square at the heart of the nations capital, Mäq'älä.

Many Wolleqans around the country are filled with joy at the events, anticipating for the beginning of the coronation marking the restoration of the monarchy.

132 years ago, foreign forces entered Wolleqa and displaced the monarchy for a foreign-friendly republic. After several years of struggle, death, and famine - the monarchy is to be restored after 132 years of royal silence.

Many Wolleqans see this as an opportunity to connect with the world on an international level, to participate in the issues and events on the world for the better good of the Wolleqan people. New information will be given of his majesty later on in the day.

Charles Regulus-Raabi'a elected President of the Inastarian Republics

After a long election, Charles Regulus-Raabi'a of the Centrist Union has won the election, defeating his opponent, Theodoric Aelius-Qasim of the People's Party, in a massive victory that has completely crushed the People's Party, this being the 9th time in the nation's history, even more demoralising with the CU being 4 years old, compared to the PP's nearly 70 years of existence. President Raabi'a has promised development and change to the country, and rather violence crackdowns on corruption in the nation and a solution to the Yokulan Crisis without the marginalization of the Yokulani Peoples, nor the secession of the Yokulani Autonomous Region.

Candidate Theodoric Aelius-Qasim had an interview several days after the results of the election on his defeat in it, with interviewers and the media receiving a rather surprising response from Qasim, claiming that the election was "rigged" and ordered for it to be redone. Qasim has officially announced the formation of an Anti-Raabi'a Group called, People's Freedom, claiming that the group wishes for the ousting of Raabi'a, claiming that he will be an incompetent leader (despite the lack of proof)and wishes to the redo the election. Many see the actions of Qasim as unacceptable, and were surprised to see that the People's Party supports Qasim's declarations.

Ayara, Yusun - In Ayara, a Yusuni border town 3 km from the frontier of IYAR, 5 armed assailants allegedly committed an attack effecting 7 Yusuni citizens, with only two of them surviving severe injuries.

The town of Ayara has been attacked many times by the Yezriyan Âksïl Tîs-ë Dozamayê, supporting the forceful establishment of a Jewish state in all "historically Yaramaquese lands".

The 7 victims were all between the ages of 18 - 25 and were, according to the two surviving victims, went out with friends to enjoy the night as a group to light a fire and simply talk.

"The Âksïl Tîs-ë Dozamayê is known for attacking young groups of Yusuni people. They do this to intimidate people. They want out ethnically Yusuni citizens to leave the town for the Jews so they may make their own theocracy" reports a local police officer, Cemil Çağlayan.

In a popular national social media site, Yüzün Kitabı , many have responded in anger over the loss of the young lives with some reaching levels of cursing the Jews.

"This is a very sensitive situation" said Açelya Fahri, the minister of foreign affairs. "If things are not in control, things will be much more difficulty for our ethnic minorities".

Upon taking notes of the common themes among chat rooms throughout Yusun. The following is an unnamed excerpt from a small online conversation: "This is the opportunity to close our borders!" "We can't let these people usurp our nation, our culture, language, and livelihoods. If we are too nice they will devour us."

"Kaiserin of Rosenheimer Empire Dead"

Kingsbridge, Cill Airne - Augusta Victoria (official portrait above) was born in Rosenheimer Stadt, Greater Rosenheim Empire in 1936. In 1938, at the age of 2, Augusta Victoria succeeded her father, Kaiser August Wilhelm, as the Kaiserin (Empress) of the Empire. On 7 July 1939, only 10 months after becoming Empress, Prince Eckhardt of Linse, younger brother of Kaiser August Wilhelm and acting Regent of the Empire was forced to abolish the monarchy after Matthäus Goldschmidt, an ethnic Düzärie (descendants of Yezriyans who converted to Lutheranism in Rosenheim) led a successful Republican Uprisng.

On 3 July, 1939, Goldschmidt and his supporters known as Die Republikaner seized the Rosenheimer Stadtschloss, the Royal Residence in the capital city, and took several members of the royal family captive. Prince Eckhardt was amongst these captives, though the Kaiserin was able to escape along with her nanny in the midst of the chaos. The young kaiserin remained in hiding until her uncle abolished the monarchy. Goldschmidt and Die Republikaner began to execute members of the royal family, starting with Princess Ester Niekisch on 8 July. The following day, when Prince Eckhardt was executed, Angela Danilovna, the Kaiserin's nanny, fled the nation with the young Kaiserin. Danilovna, born in Rosenheim to Muscovite parents, fled to Grand Muscovia where the Kaiserin lived until she was 12. In 1948 the Kaiserin moved to Cill Airne by invitation of the Cill Airiochin monarchy. She lived in Cill Airne to her death.

As the last Empress of Rosenheim, Augusta Victoria never stopped using the title. In 1954 the Cill Airiochin government granted the Empress the title "Empress of Rosenheim" to be used within Cill Airne and it's former territories. In 1955 she married Prince Sándor of Magashegyi, the younger brother of then King of Magashegyi. In 1956 their first child was born, Peter Wilhelm Victor August. Known in Cill Airne as Peter Wilhelm, Crown Prince of Rosenheim, the Crown Prince - like his mother - worked from abroad to restore the Monarchy in Rosenheim.

In the later years of her life, Augusta Victoria worked with the leadership of the government of Rosenheim on behalf of the government of Cill Airne. Because of Cill Airne's recognition of her claim to the throne of Rosenheim, the Großrosenheimer Bundesrepublik (1939-1950) led by Goldschmidt and his political party, Die Republikaner until 1948 cut all ties with Cill Airne. Although this policy continued under the Bundesrepublik Rosenheim, led by the fascist party under Joseph Aschner's leadership, in 1998 after over a decade of talks with the Empress the two nation's reconciled their differences. Although the Bundesrepublik did not recognise the Kaiserin's claims to the throne, many monarchists across the globe viewed this as a step towards restoration.

In 2007 the Crown Prince died after suffering a stroke. Title as heir apparent to the Rosenheimer throne then passed to Peter Wilhelm's only child, Elise Augusta. Now known as Elise Augusta, Crown Princess of Rosenheim by Monarchists, the 17 year old worked with her grandmother to promote the monarchist cause. Unlike in 1956, the Cill Airiochin government did not instantly grant or recognise Elise Augusta as the Crown Princess of Rosenheim. This led many to speculate she would not be recognised as such and that Kaiserin Augusta Victoria would be the last Rosenheimer Empress. However, in January 2017 - a decade after unofficially being granted the title - the government of Cill Airne recognised her as the successor of Rosenheim.

Following the Kaiserin's death, the Government of Cill Airne released a short statement known as "The Kaiserin Succession Report" in which Elise Augusta, Crown Princess of Rosenheim was recognised as the Kaiserin of Rosenheim. New chancellor of Rosenheim, Joseph Schaetzl, also released a short statement describing the contributions of Augusta Victoria to Rosenheim, and it's international relations. He described the late Kaiserin as "one of the most influential Rosenheimers in history". He is the first leader of Rosenheim since the Republican takeover in 1939 to address Augusta Victoria by the title of Kaiserin. He also granted Elise Augusta "Honorary Citizenship of Rosenheim" and has encouraged the new Empress to continue her grandmother's work in promoting Rosenheimer culture. The new Kaiserin Elise Augusta married her long-time boyfriend, Mahalel bin Dûsa Azariya Âçarzatî, an ethnic Zachwöchtie (Yezriyans who moved to Rosenheim. Unlike the Düzärie, they continue to practice the Jewish faith) just 3 weeks ago. Her grandmother attended the wedding, making it her last public appearance. Her husband has been given the title Mahalel, Grand Prince of Rosenheim (Mahalel, Großfürst von Rosenheim), by the government of Cill Airne. Ramallah, Mawtini - Dr. Rashaad Al-Ishak, also known by his Materiyye name Râshîd Ishqeyâ, one of Mawtini's prominent archaeologists, has made a major announcement stating he has discovered the tomb of Manashhah of Yahuḏoh, an ancient king of Yaramaqui. The tomb is located approximately 10km east of the city of Al-Ishak, known by its Yaramaquese name Ishqeyâ until Mawtini gained independence in 1949. Inside the tomb an inscription appeared in the local Materiyye dialect which read, "Mān'dhaqrî Set Mîlâkh Mansa'a-yō Yâhudi'in", meaning "Herein lies the tomb of Manashhah of Yahuḏoh." In the standard Yaramaquese language of the time, it would read, "Môn'ḏuqarâw Sàt Molax Manaşşâhe-yì Yahhuḏḏû". Until 1949 the Materiyye language was considered a dialect branch of Yaramquese, but after Yaramaqui was divided into Mawtini and Yezriya linguists speculated the languages - though closely related - are not dialects but separate languages. The usage of the local Materiyye dialect, instead of a Western dialect of Yaramaquese, is interesting if proven true.

Dr. Al-Ishak has stated that the tomb's location within Mawtini and the usage of Materiyye dialects indicates that historically the Materiyye dialects were considered to be more prestigious. Coupled with this, and it's location in ancient Eastern Yaramaqui indicates that historically Eastern Yaramaqui was seen as the more prestigious area, though this later changed with Western Yaramaqui (modern day Yezriya/IYAR) being seen as the more important region. "This indicates to us, Mawtini was once the dominant region of the nation. This means Mawtini is the true Yaramaquese successor state and that Yezriya is not. When the nation was divided into Yezriya and Mawtini in 1949 our people did not give up on liberating the West and we will not give up! Soon Yaramaqui will be united under its one true government, Mawtini. May Allah bless and grant mercy to the Al-Rashid dynasty as they guide us to a united Mawtini."

Kaikohe to become 22nd State in Confederacy!

Nāinoa Kalua (pictured to the right), the Kuhina Nui (Prime Minister) of Kaikohe has officially signed the "Statehood of Kaikohe Act (Kaikohe)" (known as the "Kanawai e lilo i 'Āina" in Hawaiian). This law was the second step towards statehood for the nation of Kaikohe, and followed the 2016 "Statehood of Kaikohe Act (Confederacy)." In 2016 King Kameāloha II died with no heir - no surviving members the Royal Family of Kaikohe was known of. This led to a crisis in the nation, with protests and riots occurring across the islands that make up the ancient Kingdom. The nation was torn, with many supporting nominating a member of the Haku (nobility) to become the new King, while many others supported becoming a republic. The nation shut down for months and the economy was torn and shattered. Nāinoa Kalua will serve as the State's first governor until elections are held early next year. Kaikohe officially becomes a state in the Confederacy on Monday, the 17th of July 2017. This means there will now be 22 stars on the flag, already designed and approved for usage in the Confederate States. Kaikohe will be the first new state since 1952, when Cummington Territory was granted Statehood. Kaikohe will also be the first state that English is not the first language. Although the Confederacy was colonized by High-Valyria (English Speaking), Arvas (Sami speaking), Portyngale (Portuguese Speaking) and Cill Airne (Irish speaking) after the Confederacy gained independence in 1776 it adopted English as its official language. ANCIENT MONUMENT IN DANGER!

EFSEHAN, Samitia. As a recent study has shown, an ancient city called Farzepolis may be gone by the end of the century. Reasons for it are seen in things such as earthquakes and the river Ararax changing its flow. The earthquakes were the origial reason for the city to get abandoned in the 2nd century BC when the central temple along with many other buildings collapsed while the region was hit by a very strong earthquake. A few centuries later, in autumn 905 AD, another earthquake destroyed the city of Efsehan while the ruins of Farzepolis suffered only minor damages. In the Dark Ages (centuries without/with very few evidence of an existing civilization in monuments and literature) between the 1200s and the 1500s much of the historical sites were damaged. It's not clear why, but it is believed that people in and around Efsehan have used bricks from Farzepolis to build their own houses. The great floodings that got worse in the second half of the 20th century are one of the modern threats the monuments face. Other than floodings, the smog from the nearby metropolis Efsehan is a giant thread as it destroys the building material and makes the sandstone and other materials look grey after a certain amount of time. Since the early 2000s international terrorist organizations like Rah Drest form a problem. The attacks of the 1st June 2002 destroyed the Khaxesh-Temple (on the picture) and many other sites of the old Farzians, but only few of them actually got rebuild.


Approximately 75% of the original Farzepolis were damaged by the end of the Dark Ages, 1900 80% were destroyed and 15% were at least damaged and today 91% are totally destroyed and most of the rest is damaged heavily. But what is being done against it? Not enough may be an easy answer, but not the best one. Actually a project called "Ribodlare Poulizi-te" (Farzi for "Rebuilding Monuments") was started by the government in 2010. Its goal is to rebuild as many monuments from the millenia of the Farzi civilization as possible.
The project had the honor to renovate the old towns in Gom and Tehraz and will finish reestablishing the gardens of Efsehan by the end of this month. The next projects are the Felazi-t-ez Setounah (known under the name "Palaces with Columns" in the western world) in Farzepolis. It will be the first project to rebuild a monument which already is desroyed completely. Only time will tell if the monuments of Farzepolis will be visitable in the future too.

Just a few days ago Mono De Sorrow's President Allan Stroud signed a new bill to assist Veterans after war times, and from the vote of the people the bill was finally passed yesterday! The bill has been floating around for years and most Sorrowians wanted this bill passed, with a 75% Yes vote, to help there loved ones who are coping with traumatic loses after losing limbs or getting PTSD after going into battle. Before this bill was passed most veterans would live homeless or spend thousands of dollars just to receive no help at all. After the passing of the bill the Welcome Home Organization was created with a national help line to assist veterans in need. Now veterans can receive money to get medication, prosthetic limbs and mental assistance. Also the bill gives homeless veterans assistance to buy a simple home while also covering medical expenses. Some though, say they "wanted a third party organization to give out health benefits and not the Government," which was said by Alexis Brown a News Reporter for Mono Times. Which Allan Strouds response was, "The Government puts these good men and women into bloody battles...we the government must pay back what theses poor souls lost!"

While the Democratic, Republican and The Peoples Party were celebrating there success last night in finally passing this bill, the Communist Party was not pleased. Over 1,000 Communists supporters rioted outside the event hall in Middle City. The Police were holding the crowd back as they tried to throw rocks at windows and burning trash on the side of the road. "Anarchist Party was involved too", said a local mother who saw the riot. While some may say this, the Anarchist Party released a video stating they did not attend the riot but, police report seeing people wearing the symbol of the party. And the identity of the leader of the Anarchist Party is still a black silhouette. "This was just another attack on the freedoms of our good nation," said a local business man. Some worry the Communist or the Anarchists will soon take control of the government. While the Communist Party members who hold government seats complain they were not invited to the event because they are Communists but, didn't want to go anyway because they voted against the bill.

In the past few years Communist party members have made it into our government's Representative House, "people want more government control," said the leader of the Communist Party Alexei Sokoloff. The fear of Communism is growing everyday as Communist riots start over the government just trying to help the people. We asked Allan Stroud about this problem he responded, "It's the right for the Communist to protest, NOT RIOT! If they chose to do this we must take action we must all help in stopping this attack on Democracy." Soon after saying these words the president and other members of the government, were escorted away from the event hall after the rioters were getting closer to the party. Jonathan Bird for The Peoples Party said, "We will have another party, but this time no Communists!" Some say this will make the Communists and Anarchists more bold and lead to possible harm to Sorrowians on the streets or attempt to remove our President from his seat.

While the streets are being cleaned this morning, the military has been dispatched to the streets of Middle City and around the The People's House to protect the President. No curfew has been issued yet but, most people will be dinning with military personnel with guns in there hands at dinner time. While President Allan Stroud has not dated a time when he will issue a statement on how he will fix this, Sorrowians wait eagerly for some peace of mind.

Terrorist Attacks across Qeppukoe, Government Declares War
Kauut, QEPPUKOE|The nation is in a state of shock after the series of terrorist attacks hit the generally public hard, both emotionally and physically. As a result of the terrorist attacks, the government has promised that they will avenge the nation and all those who have been killed in the attacks. The attacks we mainly shootings in several rural towns, which killed several hundred people across the nation and injured thousands, however, a handful of them were massive, extremely destructive attacks that killed over 4,000 people, composing a majority of the deaths in the attacks, which is now being called 7/14.

The first major attack was at sea, where a cruise ship of Qeppukos was attacked by pirates near the Sojacellisan Maritime Border. The pirates boarded and took over the ship, murdering all on board while sending a message to the mainland. The second took place in the heart of Kauut itself, when a plane was subsequently hijacked and was crashed into the famous National Tower of the Qeppukos, while suicide bombings were conducted afterwards.

Something was noticed about the attacks, the perpetrators always said this before they started their attacks: "GLORY TO SOJACELLIS!". With this information, the government has officially declared war on Sojacellis, believing that the attacks were carried out by the government of that nation due to recent evidence.

Famous Yezriyan Rabbis Attacks Intermarriage, Refutes Mawtinian Claims

Malafaqüm, IYAR, Eranshahir - Yezriyan Jews are tightly knit by religious tradition, heritage, and culture. Yezriyan Jews alongside with other Jews around the world are grounded in deep traditions, and communal strength. This communal strength, adherence to the Torah, contributes to the continuity of the Jewish people around the world for thousands of years. From values of the Torah and this derived community strength, lies the frowning of intermarriage with outsiders. Observant Jews around the world have stood against intermarriage for several reasons outside of Torah prohibitions, such as great cultural rifts serving as marital conflicts, higher divorce rates, religious conflicts, and family ties.

Rabbi Ḥanânïl Şeḥîb bin Hoshaʿayâ Amitây Âmalafî and Rabbi Ṣemaḥ Ḥuşî'ïl bin Doray Nissîm Âtasràbî, well-known Yezriyan rabbis and Torah scholars, were both in Malafaqüm last evening giving lectures to students in a large conference from the main academies of Malafaqüm, a centre for Jewish learning and tradition within the Independent Yezriyan Autonomous Region (IYAR). In their lectures, they began to make several remarks about the negatives of intermarriage surrounding the Jewish people, whether they be Yezriyan or not. For some, the comments were nothing out of the usual whilst for others such as the secularists, it created suspicious controversy and outrage.

"Intermarriage is against the Torah!" retorted Rabbi bin Hoshaʿayâ Âmalafî. "It has always been and things will not change. Rabbi Mosha' ben Maimon, may his memory be a blessing, writes in his Mishneh Torah that when a Jew engages in relations with of one of the nations, they are to be punished by lashes according to the Torah. The Torah states, 'You shall not intermarry with them. Do not give your daughter to his son, and do not take his daughter for your son'¹. This is not only to the seven Canaanite nations, this also stands for all other gentiles. In the book of Ezra', this also stands as it is written, 'That we shall not give our daughters to the gentiles in the land and that we will not take their daughters for our sons'². There are those who may argue that this only applies to marriage, but any engagement for any promiscuous relations is also liable for lashes. Those who want to intermarry outside our nation are doing our people a disservice. This isn't to say that those amongst the nations may not become one of our people and be accepted - far be it! A person who is a Jew must stay with a Jew. Not intermarry such as the shameless one of Rosenheim choosing to desecrate their heritage and Torah!"

Rabbi bin Hoshaʿayâ Âmalafî's statements were echoed by several Yezriyan Jews throughout IYAR in support, though some stand in strong opposition. Amir ben Yohoshûwa Âqammî, the head of Êrgudeyê Sefkerî-yë Sukrayâ³, a largely secular movement known for its nationalist tendencies to support Yezriyan independence, condemned the Rabbi's statements this morning, calling 'their rigid interpretations of Torah' hateful, 'barbaric and backwards', and 'devoid of compassion' according to recent reports. "How dare he question their love? Whether the new Kaiserin's husband is Jewish or not, this gives them no right to criticise. This is like telling others that you are cheating the diet that you are on. It's shameful. I congratulate their marriage!" exclaimed the ESS head.

Others though staunchly condemn the ESS head's statements and stand on the side of the Rabbis. According to recent polls, numbers as high as 82% of Yezriyan Jews do not approve of intermarriage. The communal ramifications of intermarriage are often quite strong and in extreme cases lead to communal ostracism due to the changing of religious views. The responses throughout Eraz Avaz⁴ have been quite strong. The responses of Yezriyans living in Rosenheim, ethnic Zachwöchtie, have not been reported. The likely responses according to many Yezriyans will be 'negative'.

Another Rabbi, Rabbi Ṣemaḥ Ḥuşî'ïl bin Doray Nissîm Âtasràbî, also made remarks in regards to the archaeological find in Mawtini of the remains of Manashhah of Yahuḏoh, the longest reigning king in ancient Yaramaquese history. "The remains of His Excellency, may his memory be a blessing, are political motivators for violence. The tomb ought to not be disturbed, it is not a positive thing to desecrate graves whatsoever. What they are doing is shamefulness. On top of that, they are political motivated to force Yezriyans into a nation they wish to not be a part of is absolute nonsense. We are in Malafaqüm, a city in which the outskirts of its metropolitan area are a mere 19 kilometres away from the Mawtinian border. We need to be careful and we need protection. Parties that strongly disapproved of these statements include the Êrgudeyê Tawḥêd-ë ʿArâbayyê⁶, the Arab Unity Movement, which is known for their Pro-Mawtinian attitudes though does not directly condone nor condemn a larger Mawtinian state. Yusuf ibn Ḥazim Êş-şarawî, the head of the Êrgudeyê Tawḥêd-ë ʿArâbayyê reportedly stated that he 'does not see the issue of Yezriyans staunchly opposing the presence of Mawtinians and other Arabs, as the outcome either way does not violate Jewish law'. Other Yezriyans were quick to negatively respond to such comments resorting to the point of even death threats, which are a forbidden form of expression per Eranian law.

Other groups, such as the Âksïl Tîs-ë Dozamayê⁷, an extremist group that reportedly killed several people in Yusun, interpret the findings in a much different light, adding to the fears of both Yezriyan Jews and Arabs. "What this means is exactly what those Mawtinians wish. We need a united state not for Arabs - but for Jews. The Arabs have the remainder of the entire continent of Marah to settle down, they ought to begin packing because this king, a Jewish king, only means that the Arabs are not welcomed here" comments Yo'âb bin Pashur Ḥakkûz Âkàryazî, the head of the Âksïl Tîs-ë Dozamayê.

"This is really bad, complicated, dangerous. Various groups all over are riling up over such information and I have a bad feeling that this could only cause danger for our people not only in IYAR, but around the world" says a passerby. On the other hand of the spectrum, lies Yaʿir "Abî-yë Şaqrâ bin Simlai Zamina Âmizqorayî, the head of the Qëquzara⁸. "Curses upon the rabbis that want to keep us in shackles! May the Mawtinians come and liberate Malafaqüm from the Eranians". "The responses by many of these people show the weak attitudes Yezriyans have, always wanting to be downtrodden as a footstool."

As time passes many in the region remain uneasy at the idea of Jibrail Al-Rashid's supposed visit to IYAR in light of the events. "Does he still want to visit!?" exclaims a passerby. "What is this going to do IYAR, this is absolute dangerous. the crazy ones all over are already gathering around the nation because of this. I see nothing good from his visit". Other Yezriyans share such opinions whilst others disagree throughout various discussion threads and chatrooms echoing the exilarch's passive viewpoint towards it, that visitors are welcome but outsiders must know the preferences of a Yezriyan.

As IYAR stands uneasy in light of the various events around the region, updates shall be given as they arrive on the matter.
