What is Washington? The nation's capitol, but what else? Is it the nexus of a national and global elite, hatching their plans for further dominance of the citizenry? Is it the home of statesmen, some falling from the path, but truly trying to make America a better place? Is it simply a carefully-stacked deck of cards, ready to fall as soon as doubts sweep in? Is it the hope of the angels of Madison, or the devils of man? Does the machinery of government move by the effort of the honest, the machinations of the wicked, or the inexorable trend of inertia and bureaucracy, heeding no man?

Perhaps it is simply a place like any other, everyday humans with delusions of grandeur thinking themselves more than they are, or simply struggling through their own days as do we all.

What is Washington? It is what you make of it. Now make a legend.

Representative Mullins's office

Mullins worked through the papers stacked neatly on his desk, analyzing every detail of the imprinted words carefully. His last term was a rough one; plagued by lack of activity and a major scandal. The only notable achievement he made was SOLDIER, which even then was more Eberhardt's work if he was completely honest with himself. Looking back on it all, Mullins could only feel disappointment. He could've done so much, and yet he wasted all of his time and money on a stupid presidential campaign and going to events.

No, he had to change. He had to do more to prove that he really did care about his constituents. At that point, he felt that he only lucked out on his re-election, and he was certain that he was making his seat vulnerable in the midterms. He couldn't let that happen, he couldn't go down as a failure. He had to introduce something. Something that would make a difference. He was looking through all of the data he could, trying to figure out what he could write up if he tried. Starting with the next Congress, he would do anything neccesary to prove himself as a capable Congressman.

Standing in front of 65 of his blackshirt or in this case, Blackcoat supporters and curious onlookers, Fritz stood there for 3 seconds, then he hopped on to a Pickup truck. Knowing that he was authorized to do this, he yelled "MARCH!" The truck in front started slowly driving, his supporters started marching to the other side of Grand Rapids. From his Megaphone he said "Do you want America free?" "YES!" Shouted the crowed. "Then vote for Fascist Party USA when the time comes. The democrats and the republicans are both led by Wall Street!" He continued shouting slogans all throughout the city, they reached the other side of the city.

They went to the Town Hall, where he came to the podium, and with him came two more of his supporters came to the stage with grey flags and one red swastika on each flag. He started giving a speech.

"Hello, those who are enlightened. We right now, are a small party. But we are the only party that cares for the American citizen and not for the interests of the gun manufacturers. The republicans are being lobbied by gun manufacturers to start wars so they can sell weapons. That is the real excuse we are going into wars in the middle east, while there is a perfectly valid excuse to go into war in the middle east. Not the gun manufacturers or the dictators. But ISLAM is that excuse! Islam is an ideology-religion, that wants to kill everyone that is not muslim. We should lead a holy crusade aganist Islam with our large military. Start from Morocco and then end in Indonesia. We have the means. We have the allies. I say we do it! We go there and destroy Islam! We'll also accept no refugees, we will deport every BLM activist, every illegal and EVERYONE who is Anti-American." He continued on about invading the entirety of North Africa,Middle-East and Indonesia. "We will make CONCENTRATION CAMPS and GAS CHAMBERS for muslims! And Wall Street wont stop us! Moving onto Wall Street, why is it that they have so much money? They inhereted it or manipulated currencies. If they were to immigrate somewhere else, then the USA would lose so much of its money. Like that with one stamp it would be done." He continued his speech for a hour and then the blackshirts gave him a standing ovation.

María Antonieta Arroyo Villanueva de Peña moves quickly and with a purpose, jogging her way up to the office building with the heat from her exertion not being even nearly enough warmth to make up for her much too thin windbreaker that she is wearing. She hates the cold. Hates it.

She flashes her pin at the security and walks on through, turning and making her way to the office that is her target her skin slowly warming and flushing as it does.

She arrives at her destination without pause and issues her demand to the staffer there as soon as they are within earshot.

"Tell me where Ryan Carter is."

Troy Wilson, the minute he head the Senate was on recess, he ran out the door, got to his car and headed out toward Dulles. He could not wait to fly back to Casper. The crisis was over. He would spend Christmas week in Wyoming with his parents and kids, before flying out to Pasadena for the Rose Parade and the Rose Bowl game. He would spend till the 8th in California and fly to New York to be on the Late Show before heading back to Washington. He was sure glad to be out of the hell Washington was. On the 10th, he wanted to meet with President Reed to discuss ways to help the Wyoming coal industry.

Carter sighed as he stepped out of his SUV and entered the building. On his way to the elevator one of his aids stopped him saying "The WHIP is here sir." Taking a breath Carter went up to his floor and got off entering his office saying "To what do I owe this pleasure senator?"

A STATEMENT FROM REPRESENTATIVE JASON PROSS

I'd like to apologize.

I will not apologize for my political beliefs, but I will apologize for the way I handled myself regarding them.

I apologize to my fellow Congressmen. The way I handled myself on Twitter was simply unprofessional. While I wish that I had not been the subject of many nasty responses, I understand them completely. I would like to work with anyone who I may have insulted to repair our relationship. Regardless of our beliefs, America's worst nightmare is a divided America.

I apologize to the people of West Virginia and anyone else who I may have been supported by. Twitter was not the correct choice for the platform where I revealed my beliefs. Additionally, when I was campaigning for my position, I was intentionally deceptive in regards to certain areas of my political beliefs. I wish that I could say that the issue of socialism was the only one I was deceptive on. I would like to work with you, the people, on clarifying my true views and values.

This scandal will likely never completely evade me. I understand that, and I understand why. Many believe that it revealed that perhaps I was not the honest and friendly man I claimed to be, but rather a man so hungry for power that I would lie and deceive my supporters. I want to make it known that I am not that person at heart. I am still the person I claimed to be: honest, understanding, and respectful. I understand that many of you will not believe this, either. And I understand why, as well. I want to prove this by being open with anyone and everyone. Whatever consequences that may bring, so be it.

This scandal will also not stop me from promoting social reform. In fact, I can do much more with this now that I am open about it. But what's more important than that right now is allowing me to make up for my shortcomings.

I apologize to my Congressmen. I apologize to my country. I apologize to my people.

I hope that you can find it in your heart to forgive me.

María Antonieta grabs him by the back of his collar as he tries to leave, holding him in the doorway. She is obviously not strong enough to hold him if he tries to pull away, but it is enough to stop him for the moment and let her slip around in front of him.
