If someone is friends with him, can you ask for the password to the IWPF account.

It has all our Constitution etc.

If no response within a few days, we can create a new account and appoint a President and Vice who will need to draw up a Constitution also.

I tried looking in google docs as i have looked at the Constitution, but my google docs was cleaned out and that appears to no longer be on my phone.

I really wouldn't, he has had a nation deleted, sharing accounts with him could muddy your record in a really major way.

I agree with GVH that reviving and sharing the IWPF account would probably not be the best idea. We can, however, access the factbooks with the tournament history and constitution here. However, since a decent chunk of the tournament regulars seem to be in favor of scrapping and rewriting the constitution anyways, I'm not sure how useful that will actually be.

As for appointing a new President and Vice President, we had 5 nations volunteer for the position when Razen last asked: Equestrian States, Darkmania, North Prarie, Northwest Kalactin, and Qasden. So there's certainly a few of us willing to take the reins, the question is how to choose a successor and generally reform the IWPF going forward.

If you search his nation in the boneyard, you get the message "Disgraced: This name was soiled by a former nation (of significant size)." That means that his nation was deleted for rules violations. His main nation and several of his puppets have that message on them, which means at the very least that he's not going to be coming back as Razenthuria, if at all. We don't know if he's been declared delete-on-sight (though I assume not since he doesn't have that long a record of troublemaking that would likely be needed to earn him that distinction), but regardless I think it's best if we move on.

So if it does continue if someone is gonna put up their hand to be President it would be nice of you actually contributed by posting roleplays or at least a roster.

I was a bit shocked by the fact that WPIC4 had only one page of IC RP. How I won that is a mystery.

I do want to make more RP for WPIC5, but when you was on holiday and did not have access to the internet, then you can only post the rooster post.

Yes, i see that the roleplaying has gone downhill ever since that controversy WPIC4 was. I do have hopes that it does get revived and gets more active RP, but my hopes are beginning to run dry.

Yeah, don't ask to share their accounts. When you do so, their record become your record, and you have a disgraced nation on your record, which isn't a good thing to have.

That being said, I've found cached pages of the following bits of info:

I might be able to find more, but that's all I've seen so far. These cached pages don't last forever, and in a pinch I can move them to the NSwiki site. But if we're going to rehash this, I'd suggest spending a night discussing over discord for interested parties to perhaps mend old wounds, get on the same page, and maybe restart this body entirely.

Agreed. I was disappointed in myself that I didn't RP whatsoever. But I think due to the controversies surrounding the waning moments of the WPIC account, many of the strong RP nations had left or just stopped producing regular RP's. It has always been iffy for a sport like Water Polo to maintain a regular following, and the drama didn't help it one bit.

That being said, I would be interested in being a part of reviving this. I'd furlough this to Underwater Hockey, but I'm pretty sure only Vekaiyu would sport a team / have interest, lol

It's small tournaments like this where new users can get their first taste of hosting a tournament, which is something that I think is invaluable to the NS Sports community. As such, I'd absolutely support reviving the tournament under new leadership with a new constitution and a reworked rankings system (the current system is needlessly complex, IMO).

Right, the World Cup is finished so it seems like about the right time to start looking at the next WPIC. Unless anyone has any objections, I'd be willing to take over the Presidency of the IWPF for the next few cycles to ensure that we have some stability in leadership for once. My plans would be to open up the signups for WPIC 6 (and provide a host bid if nobody else steps forward), draft a new/revised constitution, and to adopt a new (more logical and transparent) rankings system for the tournament.

What do y'all think?

A new/revised constitution, and to adopt a new rankings system for the tournament should be the things implemented before a new IWPF is opened.


And as usual this thread does receive a small bulk of fans wanting a new tournament. Than when the time comes it drops off when it comes to rp. Yes people have real lives, but when someone posts in another sporting thread the same day, it is to much to ask to post even a few lines in this rolelay.



I know some people said they didn't realise the tournament had started. So I'm going to come out and be controversial. All signs ups must post a roster before pools are worked out. Failure to post a roster excludes you from the tournament.

Why do this?

1. Acts as a commitment, as you already made 1 post that you worked hard on and may feel encouraged to do more.
2. By making a post when a player checks their view your post tab, they can see when other players have added to the thread and I didn't know the tournament had started becomes less of an excuse
