2017 Toshavoan General Election

Postby Toshavo » Tue Jun 27, 2017 12:33 pm

How The Election Will Go

The First Round

When the first round of the election starts the candidates are allowed to campaign across the country. Like: hold rallies, travel the country, put tv advertisements and have town halls. But the candidates are not allowed to start debates with another candidate until the first round debate. This debate is crucial, because this debate will determine the top8 candidates that will go on to the second round of the election. On the first round election day, voters are now able to choose their respective candidates. In this election, the bottom 4 candidates, or the candidates who came in last place, now have to suspend their campaign. While the remaining 8 will go on to the second round. The person who is 1st place is officially "wins" the first round.

To make things easier I made a schedule for the election.

-June 18: First Round Starts

-June 29: First Round Debate

-July 7: First Round Voting Starts

-July 20: Second Round Starts

-July 29: Second Round Debate

-August 2: Second Round Voting Starts

-August 20: Election Day

The Second Round

The second round is almost similar to the first, and the only difference is, is that voting will go differently. so to save time I will cut to the chase. On the second round election day, 8 candidates will be on the ballot, and the last 4 will have to suspend their campaign, the remaining 4 will obviously go on to the election. But there is one key difference. Although the top 4 will go on to the election, the top 2, will be considered the 2 main candidates running against each other, while the other 2 are considered 3rd-party candidates. This the most controversial aspect of the election, as it doesn't give other candidates a chance, let alone their parties.
