Greetings,
to All Nations
of the Nationstates!
The Federal Republic of Priangan is a fledgling, cultured nation, notable for its museums and concert halls, compulsory military service, and frequent executions. The hard-working, democratic, devout population of 6 million Prianganians are effectively ruled by a group of massive corporations, who run for political office and provide their well-off citizens with world-class goods and services. Their poorer citizens, however, are mostly starving to death while being urged to go out and get real jobs. The populace has reasonably extensive civil rights, although these are mostly aimed at allowing them to buy whatever they like. The tiny, outspoken government juggles the competing demands of Welfare, Spirituality, and Education. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 7.7%.
The very strong Prianganian economy, worth 442 billion rupiahs a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Basket Weaving industry, with major contributions from Trout Farming, Book Publishing, and Retail. Average income is 73,728 rupiahs, but there is a significant disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 217,769 per year while the poor average 19,624, a ratio of 11.1 to 1.
In keeping with our policy to engage diplomatically with countries around the world, we have finally established our own embassy program to better understand countless of different nations and cultures. We believe that global peace can only be achieved through foreign relations that based on the principles of equality, mutual respect, mutual benefit, mutual understanding and mutual non-interference in each country, which we hope may ensue through this means.
Your Sincerely,
Minister of Foreign Affair of Priangan
H.E. Mangkubumi Suradiwangsa
