The world that house are nations is a large and diverse one, with rich history. Many nations have risen and fallen and this is hte story of those and the nations who have stood the test of time, of the brave and the lonely, of the strong and of the weak we have made the our mark on this world in ways many dont understand, we have pushed the limits of many and put man on the moon, we have cured disease and prospered as the empires of yesterday once did. This is the story of the people form all walks of life: poor, rich, old and young this is their stories it is our stories. Now we know much of our word and little of our own Humanity, and Markion will lead and be a driving force in anything, because today is the day our our people and our nations, and this is Markion

The year is 2034 and nations have risen or fallen. Many died and many lived. This is where the story continues. This is where Markion lives.

[The Green Union]

The road to the Green Union's captivity was a long one. It started at the very beginning of life in Markion, but for now we will begin retelling from a much more recent point.

11 May, 2033

With the signing of the Treaty of Coronō, the Green Union terminates the defence contract held with the Bluewater™ Corp. as it is deemed their services are no longer necessary for maintaining the sovereignty of the Green Union over her western shores. The final payment for the Bluewater™ Corporation's services will be paid after the Vilhalan PMC's naval assets have departed GU waters.

11 May, 2033

The Bluewater™ Corp. responds poorly to the news of its contract being terminated. It accuses the GU of skirting the contract rules, pointing to a place clearly stating:

"Upon the passing of the immediate threat posed by the Sevevillian Army, Navy, and Air Force the Green Union Ministry of Defense will open negotiations with the Bluewater™ Corp. to decide on a future end to this contract. The Bluewater™ Corp. will be given two months prior warning before the termination of this contract. During this time no less than regular wartime payments to the Bluewater™ Corp. may be paid."

It is claimed that this clearly shows that the Green Union is in violation of the contract it signed with Bluewater™ and therefore is also in violation of international law. Bluewater™ ships will not depart Green Union waters until the proper terms of the contract are met, and in the meantime demands a salary increase of 30% as compensation for this treachery.

Bluewater™ also threatens to stop GU sea traffic if the country is not willing to come to the table.

11 May, 2034

The government of the Green Union and her people wish no quarrel with the Bluewater™ Corp. or its naval assets in her waters, but the government stresses that the copy of the contract signed that is being kept in Himmelsdorf does not include a section with the aforementioned clause. There is no part of the Green Union held contract which forbids the immediate termination of the contract and all its terms, including payment.

In the interest of civil negotiation, and finding out where this confusion has arisen, the Green Union's government is relieves Bluewater™ ships and personnel of their high-readiness status. Ships are permitted to dock in Green Union ports, and crews to mingle with local populations. Payment continues as when the fleet was in its high-readiness station while negotiations and an investigation into this disparity ensue.

After a day of discussion among officials and shareholders, Bluewater™ finds the proposed arrangement to be satisfactory.

Bluewater™ also attends the "negotiations" with the government of the Green Union, if only to begin our own investigation to prove to the international community that it was Green Union meddeling in their copy of our binding contract which has led to this backstabbing action. Many days of negotiation result, and while they do life returns to normal in the region.

21 May, 2034

A painful referendum process, earth shattering within the GU and barely felt without, comes to an end. Referendum-914, the question whether parliament will push forward Bill 723, the 2034 Commons Act, is been answered by the Green Union's people. By an extremely slim margin (52.3% - 47.7%) the people vote to do what most of the rest of CMEP would consider unthinkable. They have voted to abolish private property.

Bill 723, introduced by the Workers Party of the Green Union earlier in the year, calls for the beginning of a process to nationalize all land in the country by the year 2050. It was been violently opposed by the GU's centre-left and centrist political parties, called a front to turn the Green Union into a Communist dictatorship.

Riots start breaking out in the streets, and accusations of a rigged referendum begin rolling in.

22 May, 2034

The leader of Vilhala, Immortan Jim, gives his first televised speech in decades. The president addresses the people of Vilhala and the international community by calling the Loyalist government of the so-called Green Union what it is: a Communist Terrorist regime and a catalyst for the Red Menace's takeover of CMEP. He warns warned that the Vilhalan military PMCs, conveniently located off the coast of the GU, will land in the Green Union and restore order. If the Loyalists resist he will call for their country's ejection from CMEP.

In the night before the speech, Bluewater™ ships have already left their moorings in the GU and begun taking up battle positions off the coast.

23 May, 2034

The Loyalist defenders of the island fortress of Toll-Tirith have noted a mass congregation of Bluewater™ ships just outside of range of the island's emplaced defences. The Vilhalans have been informed that they do not have permission to pass the fortress in order to enter the Sîr Laeg river, which would provide them naval access to the cultural and economic heartland of the Green Union.

Protests against the results of Referendum-914 continue, with it being claimed by opponents to Bill 723 that a vote of such importance has, historically in the GU, required a passing vote of no less than 75% instead of 50%. This comes on top of mounting accusations of Prime Minister Charlotte Fried's Workers Party rigging the vote.

23 - 30 May, 2013

The standoff between the Vilhalan fleet and the defenders of Toll-Tirith grinds on. Reinforcements arrive for both sides, doubling the Vilhalan fleet’s strength and bringing the power of Toll-Tirith up to almost three quarter strength. The PMC ships don't look eager to move, and but neither do the Loyalists. The Vilhalans are warned that they will not be allowed to enter the GU in peace; they have no rights to meddle in the country's internal affairs.

The contract with the Bluewater™ Corp. has been violently torn up and voided. That Bourgeois organization will bleed no more money from the GU working class.

28 May, 2034

Vilhalan transport ships have peacefully disembarked across the west coast of the Green Union and mercenaries begin instating martial law in the communities they occupy. The sparse GU forces in the area have put up no resistance. Many soldiers report oppressed civilians of the GU begging them to free their country from the Red Menace. Vilhala calls for CMEP to eject the Communist nation of the GU from the Coalition and force the pretenders to give up their Communist ways.

The Loyalist government of the GU demands the Vilhalans depart, saying that remaining in the country any longer will be taken as an act of war. The government of Vilhala calls on CMEP to condemn the Communist Terrorist ways of the GU, and eject them from the Coalition Military and Economic Pact.

Such is how the first chapter ends. Much more is soon to follow. It always does.

May 31st 2034 A few days ago the Peoples Kingdom of the Green Union passed a very controversial legislation that enacted eminent domain. Some CMEP member states have been pushing for the ejection of the Green Union. In the coming weeks during Parliaments next session Arcadia's decision will be decided. Many are worried this may lead to a conflict, while others say its just a national rough patch.

He sat his chair outside the cafe and looked on his phone. He was reading about how the Supreme Court ruled in favor for an AI to become a judge. He didnt understand how they could let that happen much less become citizens. He soon turned off hs phone and looked up at the skyline of the city. And he remembered he has to make a flight to Volcane next week. He and His family were going to see St. Thaddeus-Camille the head of the Catholic church.

The world was a white glow, his eyes snapped shut. Upon reopening he was wrapped in a warm blanket of fuzz and being rocked back and forth. He looked up and caught a gimps of a man's beard. When his eyes readjusted, he was in some strange machine making whirring noises and casting green lights on him. He looked over and spotted a woman in a white lab coat saying,

"He passes all genetic tests, bring him to delivery."

He didn't understand what she said. Then the woman picked him up and carried him to a big metal room and put him and a padded cage where he waited there, alongside several other babies, for several hours. He was only taken out once to be fed some formula before being placed back into the cage and strapped to the fitted padding. Then into a padded truck he went where he would be safe during the ride. The truck then slowly drove to the near by child care facility where Daniel would spend the rest of his early years.

June 2nd 2034, Today Arcadian Parliament has made their decision on the ejection of the Green Union. While most of the decision falls to Coalition staff. But one major decision has been made that a team of military judges from all member nations will decide the fate of the CMEP supreme commander of the Coalition. Speaker of the commons Mr. Adrian Wesson gave this statement 'Until this situation is resolved Supreme General North will be acting commandant of the Coalition. Mr. Sajjin will be temporarily taken out of command while this situation goes on to prevent conflict of interest.'

He received his new command ordered Sajjins terminals to be monitored and locked if he tries exposing any classified documents. He was to meet with Prime Minister Munche next week when he arrives here for the CMEP conference that is planned. North was now to select the judges he chose 3 Albatanaian judges, 2 Arcadians, 1 Loyalist, 1 Vihallan, and 2 from the USCO.

5th June, 2034 - Earlier today, Supreme Councillor Benedict Jackson announced that the UCSO would invite Vilhalla, the GU Loyalist government, and GU rebels to a peace conference held in Madistar, Oceania, after receiving unanimous approval from the High Council. The Senate narrowly voted against holding the peace talks in Oceania, by a vote of 252 to 248, but were overruled by the High Council, once again unanimously. The Supreme Councillor also announced that in the mean time, the UCSO would send in the Oceanic 4th Army to the GU to act as a peacekeeping force.

He had just finished his year of mandatory military service in the Navy of Ling Shou. He was now back in his home city looking for a job. He walked down the street in his new street clothes he bought before he left the Naval base. His face mask was falling off so he put it back on ,and he moved forward. As he walked into his new apartment building he brought before he came here his parents left all of his stuff here with a small amount of food. He sat down next to the food staring at a window facing a brick wall and started thinking what is he going to do.

The civilian center was the main scenic area of the DMZ many came here from across the globe. He stood at attention looking at the Norht Ling Shou side. The sun beat down on them and he stood in his position like many others in the civilian center. His brother serves in the Capitol as a reservist in the artillery defense systems. Soon a soldier came up behind him and spoke "Loo, your shifts over." He looked over and saw Lance Corporal Il-Na Mihn. Loo spoke "Its about time Mihn." As he smirked and walked away. They were not to leave the post until relieved. The Arcadian unit here mainly stayed inside and in the joint meeting room when people went in.

He was called over by a young Aircorp Captain from the Special Operations Joint Command with information regarding the LFN. As he walked in he saw the Captain standing over a Sergeant with photos taken of an Anavokain convoy and he was told to put on some headphones for the message sent by the J-SOT team. He put the headphones on and it said: "This is J-SOT team 3 reporting of a destroyed AMPE vehicle under Anavokian control, with possible suvivors." The message went on for a little longer and he spoke "Tell the team to tail the Anavokian convoy to find out if there are any survivors and if Anavokia has had anything to do with it." he would be filing this into command and they would tell the Albatanians if this information was confirmed.

The second chapter of the Green Union's descent into chaos unfolds here. It is now that the real chaos begins to unfold as the Vilhalans make their move, though the worst is yet to come.

June. 2, 2034

An emergency CMEP conference held in Bayjune, Arcadia convenes to discuss the situation in the Green Union. Here is is decided that on unanswered charges of Communist conspiracy in the GU government, and fostering a culture of a safe haven from which communists can spread their ideology in Markion, the Green Union must ejected from the Coalition. LCOL Sajjan, the Green Union Supreme Commander of the Coalition, is arrested along with every Green Union born Coalition staff.

Hours after the decision, Immortan Jim gives another televised speech stating that if the oppressive Communist government of the Green Union cannot maintain order it must be replaced by a free Capitalist one that will. At 4:30 WST the unthinkable happens; The Vilhalan fleet opens fire and begins an airborne offensive on the island fortress of Toll-Tirith.

As the battle of Tol-Tirith rages on, the United City States of Oceania invites all belligerents in the conflict to a peace conference in the nation's city of Madistar. While both the Vilhalan and GU Loyalist governments agree to send delegates, the Loyalists never arrive. The talks end up being between Vilhalan diplomats and military officials, which in minutes leads to a unanimous decision to liberate the people of the Green Union from their Communist dictators. Oceanic peacekeepers are denied entry to the Green Union by Vilhalan forces, which control the country's waters.

All the while Vilhalan forces on the west coast of the Green Union march eastward, seizing government assets and instating martial law in their captured territories. Many incidences of small scale military resistance are seen by Loyalist militias. Everywhere the Vilhalans go protest against Bill 723 stop and order is restored, with force if necessary.

The Vihlanans were not bombing the CMEP complex but all around them the base island was getting leveled. They managed to get most of thier families inside of the complex before the bombings, since the bombings began they got the rest in the compound. They were receiving word that an Arcadian airbase in eastern GU was taking fire. They managed to wave off the attack but the air field was about leveled. The civilian sectors and some of the command area was untouched but parts of the command and parts of the command area , office area, and the barracks. They were radioing to the Vilhalans to alert them of the Arcadian base to the north since they have not hit it yet. She looked into the courtyard and saw civilians walking into the building while the medics tended to the injured.

On behalf of the leaders of Albatan we would like to condemn the actions of the violent Vilhalan advance. The Green Party requests that Vilhala send Green Union delegates to the USCO conference to allow for proper discourse.

Our leader William Closson is outraged at the attack on Tol-Tirith and demands that the Vilhalans cease their attack immediately or face CMEP opposition. They also state that they are pressuring the Green Party to deploy an Expeditionary Force to the Green Union to combat the Vilhalans.

CMEP was falling apart and movement in all parties were growing to leave the alliance. With elections coming up real soon, this was a hot button issue. He would be inviting delegates form Karalax, Cruxa, and Albatan to discuss a possibility of a mutual defense pact. This should also get the constitutional party ahead. He was inviting them for a meeting in a few weeks here in Casatolo. So far the elections for house of commons put the Constitutional party ahead, but the DAU was gaining ground. This could be what puts them ahead the DAU.

The newly appointed minister devoted to all things CMEP arrived at Casatolo in the early morning. Arrangements for her stay had been reserved at the five star Tolotel Hotel. However she went directly to the location of the summit. As per usual, the architecture was exquisite, as expected. Arcadia was a beautiful country, just, not one she would want to live in. She arrived at her seat and plunked down and began messaging some colleges at the Ministry back home.

He was sure that Albatan was planning on joining the Kamuko Pact, but he would need to make sure, that was his other job.

The meeting was set and he sat in his chair, he looked over the terms of the admission and he hoped the Karalaxian representative would find this deal suitable. Since the CMEP summit just ended, they would have the representatives attention for this meeting.

The beginning of the end has now come in the Green Union. Toll-Tirith has been taken, and the GU mainland lies exposed before the Vilhalan invaders. The nations of Markion look on in bewilderment as their neighbour is quickly and silently consumed.

June. 10, 2034:

The battle of Toll-Tirith has come to a bloody end, resulting in the complete occupation of the island by mercenary forces. The battle leaves thousands dead and caused billions of Marks in damage to Green Union private and government property, as well as CMEP assets located at the joint Coalition facility on the island. All sides halt their combat as they reel from the chaos of the last days. The future of the war seems uncertain as what is left of the Green Union military tries to fortify the Sîr Laeg. The national militias are finally activated, and the Vilhalan advance overland stops to reconsider tactics as forces find themselves unable to break through barricades on the few usable roads.

June. 12, 2034:

Vilhalan PMCs invade the Green Union’s mainland through the Sîr Laeg river. The approach is chaotic, with warships sinking of mines and hastily set up land based artillery. Flax-Core™ warplanes bomb militia forces and, by some sources, civilian targets. PMCs continue their push overland, this time supported by heavy armour and aircraft. News sources cannot agree on what is happening anywhere, a trend that will continue for the coming months.

June. 13 - July. 24, 2034:

The Vilhalan invasion of the GU is summed up in this time. After breaking through the initial defences PMCs advance swiftly across the country. Wherever they go, riots stop and fires begin. All outside contact with anyone behind Vilhalan lines is lost. With the fall of Himmelsdorf on June 14 Loyalist officials outside of the country lose all contact with the government. One by one, from West to East, border crossings between the GU and Placeoderms are closed and barricaded by Vilhalan troops. Satellite imaging shows mass troop movements. On June 18 three Loyalist frigates are caught on camera by a Placeodermsian fisheries patrol as they are destroyed trying to flee to Placeodermsian waters. On June 23 a cloud of ash that had been falling as far away as the October Islands is traced back to Mont Coulon.

They were repairing damage that was taken from a Vilhallan misfire on the base. The CMEP headquarters was undamaged due to it being known as friendly. They now have secured the town around the base and it is under Arcadian occupation, due to security reasons. Supply flight should be arriving in a few days. They waited for the government response to the situation, he whole country has gone to shit, and things were not getting better. The sky was black with some and the town outside the base was leveled. The bases hospital was full of civilians and military personnel, and they needed to get alot out. helicopters have been doing the job for now, but this base has been designated a neutral care point where all sides will be treated if unarmed they were going to get flooded. He heard the other base faired much better, but now they had to make due with what they had.

He sat in a truck full or GU militiamen driving to the front line. He sat there with a light blue helmet and a black bullet proof vest with his news team. It was a bumpy ride and he wished he was allowed to bring a side arm. The truck son stopped and they all got out. The Camera man started to film, and George spoke "We are broadcasting live from the Green Union, where fighting is now in every street corner. The LAF is being butchered on all fronts, as the world watches in horror. As you can see behind us soldiers of the LAF pulling back thier injured as Vilhallan PMCs push further into the Green Union." He was cut short by a soldier knocking him down. He got up and he signaled for the cameraman to head further towards the combat zone. As they reached the town smoke filled the sky and all you heard was gunshots and yelling.

A deal has been struck by the Arcadian government and Vilhallan government official, and the Arcadian government will be buying large plots of land to rebuild the Green Union, and to restore a market friendly, stable government, who can work with all sides. The land will be bought in the Western Green Union. More information will be released once things are final."

Since the new Chancellor took office, he was choosing his staff, and he was lucky they decided to keep a vocal constitutional union party supporter. He read over the note cards he wrote, and he looked at the wall. He heard the press in the other room. The press assistant they recently brought on walked over to him and he spoke "Mr. Handlan, its time." He stood up and walked into the Press room and he went up to the podium and he spoke "As you know these are hectic times, for our new nation, today, the purchase of the land of Urlistan was finalized, and the government of Urlistan was elected, there is a forces of Arcadian military personnel to help protect the Urlistani citizens. There is a security force of a size we cannot disclose due to security reasons, our personnel are there to help the citizens of the new nation, and the Federation of Arcadian States and Commonwealths is dedicated to keeping Urlistan's safety and stability."

He was in full combat gear, and Urlistani soldiers were running most of the security. The air was getting colder, since they got here, they arrived mid summer, and soon fall would begin. He held his XM9 rifle and scanned the crowd, Chancellor Waters, was on the stage sitting near President Mann, hundreds were in attendance flags of both nations flew in the wind.

He walked the rear garden. The sun was out today, he heard cars in the distance, and walked down the path. He was suprised on how he went from the head of state and government of a global power, and now a figurehead of a successor state of greater power. He gave Waters credit he was a smart man. The Chancellor was now in Urlistan for the swearing in of the new government over there. They were continuing the tradition of the Empire, that was ended once FASC become a government. Urlistan was an Arcadian puppet and vassal. He wondered what was going to happen in Potthan since new leadership took office. His son was deployed with the Navy in Potthan and he was worried for his life. His middle son who is now 16 is at the Bay June Service Academy which has the Service Academy for the Federal Army. His family had a long tradition of military service since the kingdom under the Kaiser.

Puffin Point, Urlistan

There were massive protests in the streets all across Puffin Point, some were getting violent. The Police line held them back from the banking district, he stood on a balcony with a modified FAL rifle in his hands. Soon gunshots rang out and people in the crowd start running. Soon flashes and shots came from and crowd and the police line. Soon they threw Molotov cocktails. His shouldered his rifle and fired into the crowd, he fired until he ran out of ammo and reloaded. Soon tear gas was launched into the corwd, and they started to disperse. He put on his gas mask and moved down to the street with some other officers. They moved forward with the other officers and soldiers. Some where on the ground injured while many ran. He walked over a dead body. The tear gas was still thick in the air and being launched. He looked to the left and saw an officer beating down a man with a gun by his side. He walked forward and fired at two people running. He walked up to them and saw one of them injured. He started to patch him up, so he wouldnt bleed out.

He moved past the AAV with his team and they were to arrest protesters. As a group of over thirty ran torwards them he fired in the sky and yelled "ON THE FUCKING GROUND NOW!" While most complied other soldiers started to detain them. One tired to run before he was shot i nthe back. As they rest of them were put in hand cuffs and marched into Police trucks and hauled away. Over the course of an hour the riot ended. He and his team walked down the street in full riot gear. Every so often there was a dead body in the street, and he saw medics working on injured where they layed on the ground. There were heavy rumors of terrorists starting all of this arranging the protests and provoking the Police. there was an Army helicopter in the air. Some people were being marched down the street with police escort and people cleaning up the streets around thier shops and streets, what a great start to a new republic he thought.

The new president had just federalized the militias and police forces, they were out making sure the protests nationwide not become a second Puffin point. The government has also gave the Arcadians permission to reassign Arcadian forces already in Urlistan to commence anti-terror operations to find the terrorists who killed the officers in Puffin point. All day Arcadian trucks were all over the place, and the Arcadians were collecting firearms across the country after the attacks, the government was off to a rough start. They were under direct orders to only use non-lethal rounds and weapons. For the most part it has been peaceful. The military command that was involved during the Puffin Point riot were fired and there were rumors of Colonel Sajjin coming back to Urlistan to lead the Armed Forces.

Capt.Tony Matthews, 507th Military Police regiment, 88th Infantry Division

He opened the door of his car, and grabbed his Class B cover. As he got out of the car he closed the door, and the officer posted at his residence for his rotation came out of his squad car and spoke "What the hell are you guys doing here?" Captain Mathews spoke "Officer we are here on order of the ministry of defense, step aside." He soon showed the officer the orders and he stepped aside. He told the officer "Officer open the door." As the officer opened the door he walked in with his men and he spoke "Mr. Sajjin I'm captain Tony Mathews from the Army, my government has an offer for you that you'll like."He soon heard him reply "I'm in my office, come in." As they walked in they saw Mr. Sajjin over his desk working on a model plane. The Arcadian captain spoke "Mr. Sajjin my government along with the government of Urlistan would like to offer you a job in the Urlistani Armed Forces, at the rank of Major General, and you would start as soon as next week. Are you interested?" Sajjin slowly turned around and said "Yes, I will work not for your government ,I will work for the Green Union to help restore it." The Captain spoke "Come with us, we'll have your belongings packed up and sent to WarmBay." He stood up and spoke "Let me get dressed, shall I wear my old uniform?" the captain spoke "Its up to you, but you should know its a uniform of a nation that no longer exists." Sajjin turned around and spoke "The Union will always stand in the minds of the people." he retired upstairs and an hour later came down wearing his old uniform. They walked outside and into the car, with the motorcade they called in since he was now a high ranking military official, the motorcade was made up of three land rovers and two police bikes.

Puffin Point, Urlistan

He walked down the street and spoke to one of the civilians and he spoke "Do you have any ideas, who the armed suspects were?" The civilian spoke "No, I dont, I was at home with my kids, during the protests, and next thing I knew gunshots erupted." Agent Wilson went through a several more questions and he spoke "Okay, thanks for your help, here is my card if you have any information."

He didnt like walking down the street unarmed and unarmored. But the government wanted to go with a hearts and the minds. They had Military police and CTU unarmed and with out body armor. The guns were in the trucks with one guard per truck while the rest were in the streets either helping with the clean up or investigating the riot.

Lawton Union Dam, Urlistan

She walked down the stairs and spoke to a native engineer "Hey, do you have everything you need?" The native spoke "I just need a copper wire could you bring some down?" She replied "Yeah, I'll get it from my MATV." She walked back up to her MATV and opened the trunk. She grabbed the while she walked back she saw civilians working with soldiers, and it looked as if the riot was an isolated incident. Since the Patterson Act was passed by FASC, and the Urlistani government which meant jobs would be heading to Urlistan, engineers from FASC and all across Urlistan were now working to revitalize Urilistans energy assets.
