Name: Grey Matter

Occupation: Medical Researcher, formerly Psychiatrist
Appearance: Mahogany colored, with a black mane and tail, and azure eyes. He is always well-groomed and often wears a long-sleeved coat, whether it is a labcoat or other coat.
Cutie Mark: A diagram of the two halves of a brain, with one half being black while the other is white, and black and white rings looping around it similar to a diagram of an atom.
Special Talent: Scientific studies, especially related to the minds of ponies and how they function.
Bio: Born to a family of Pegasi, Grey Matter was born a unicorn, named by his father (one of Cloudsdale’s chief brain surgeons). His mother in the meantime was a Linguist and teacher at Cloudsdale’s university. After finishing his studies, he traveled with his family to Ippeia. His mother had been offered a position in the Imperial Academy of History. Being there he married, and the whole family would eventually return to Equestria… just it wasn’t at a good moment.
Returning just in time for the collapse of Equestria, Grey Matter sent his family to Cloudsdale, its situation as a cloud city (and therefore vaguely moveable in times of need) as well as a rather militarized city making him think it was safe… Then again, nopony could have forseen the sack.
With his family dead, and Equestria suddenly breaking up, Grey Matter would flirt briefly with the Temple of Vision, however, even with the entity known as “All-Maker” being fully existent in the physical realm, a Medical researcher and psychiatrist like himself could not accept the blind belief in some of the basic articles of it. Eventually he came into contact with White Knight’s followers, and amidst grief, despair and thirst for revenge, he joined them with a newfound purpose: to create the ultimate weapon-- not one made of steel and fire, but to turn any pony into a force that even an Alicorn would think twice before facing...
Personality:
He is stubborn, obsessive on what he does; once he focuses on something, he won’t let go until he is successful or fails so catastrophically that he is convinced it cannot be done.
As a scientist, he has a hard time believing in something he cannot research fully, and as a widower he deeply misses his family, and finds life is quite dark without them. Ever since they died, he has become rather monotone, anti-social, and very serious. At this point, he is willing to do anything to create the ultimate pony force to annihilate the Griffons and all those who oppose Ponykind.
How do you see your character contributing to the RP?
He should be working with White Knight, creating experiments that are not entirely ethical to say the least. This should lead into other plot points in the future.
