Although Tinhampton in itself is the only official settlement in the Self-Administrative Zone (hence Self-Administrative City), "Westnopertamentoperanata Farm" has been logged and recorded as the longest. Well, we don't know for sure. To find out, you'll need to find your way past a couple of hundred farms, and a few willing citydwellers.

Vestplan's official name came about as an endorsement of the views of the 19th century Crylantian classical liberal and republican thinker, Alexandra La Blanc, while Kattinge's official name came from being made by the incorporation of the towns of Kattinge, Vestby and Norðkirk into the state.

The longest place name in South Africa (OOC: both in real life and in my nation) is Tweebuffelsmeteenskootmorsdoodgeskietfontein. The name belongs to a farm in North West Province about 200 km west of the administrative and (OOC: in my version of things) legislative capital of Tshwane / Pretoria.

Its name is Afrikaans, and translates directly to:
"Two Buffaloes with one shot very dead shot fountain", although translated into meaning better it means "At the site of a fountain / spring two buffalo were shot stone dead with a single shot".

The longest place name in Nchiyamengi is a small historical village and protected site in Mlimayamaisha Province named:

It is usually shortened to Kijiji-juu-ya-mwamba, or "Village on the rock".

According to oral history and local legend is where the great unifying King of the Busetsu, Masetana, caught up with the armies of his old friend Bazindelo, who was conspiring with a group of rebellious local Busetsu kings and Chieftains, who were conspiring with some of the Njengi trader newcomers from the mainland to usurp King Masetana and take his throne. According to legend, the kings and chieftains thought they were safe and hidden in the heavily wooded valley, and would be unable to be found. Masetana is said to have used his great spy, Duzayamvuba, to find them, with the young women believed to be a witch at the time, but being considered a highly intelligent spymaster by modern historians, who note her networks of informants and tracking abilities. Upon learning of their location, the king then swiftly moved his most elite forces swiftly through the jungles to the valley, using Duzayamvuba to kill any sentries, scouts and lookouts around the valley.

Having set a trap, King Masetana is then described as having launched his forces in an all out attack in the dead of night, with them falling upon the camp. The signal to start this attack would be the lighting of a fire on the cliff that overlooked the valley, with the fire made from the bodies of the scouts and fallen wood and branches. From up on the cliff, the king watched the attack. After some time he called for a cow captured from some of the scouts to be brought forward, slaughtered, and be roasted. The king then ate the roast beef while watching as his army massacred the unaware and outnumbered forces of the usurper kings and chieftains, being presented with the head of his former friend, the traitor Bazindelo, after the battle was over.

The process of raiding the camp afterward was so significant that people from deeper in the kingdom were brought in to do so, with some choosing to settle on the cliff overlooking the valley afterwards, including a number of soldiers, in memory of the momentous battle. The valley is also noted as having a river flowing through it, and being abundant in food, hence why the usurper army made camp there.

The language of Our Empire does not allow for many place names of significant length, so the longest place name is not terribly long. It belongs to a small island just east of the capital city, Ceyazei. The island is called "Íj́é ní dao Céleiyaisala". The name means "The Island of the Céleiyaisa" (The Céleiyaisa being one of the few remaining traditional tribes in the Empire).
