The 6th IMC fleet arrived out hyperspace after received a distress signal from a colony on the planet of talos, the message was mostly static but analysts were able to decrypt the signal to find the coordinates to the planet.upon arriving at the planet short range scanners detected two unknown ships orbiting the planet. The Fleet moved slowly toward the planet and sent a transmission to the unknown ship. To: Unknown ships

Into the Unknown
The 35th Contingent Neustra of the Sovereign had been given the task to establish a new colony to feed the forges that worked day and night. Reports had hinted that certain powers were dispatching forces to the system selected, but this did not matter. If they attempted to halt inevitable progress, they would be brushed aside.
DKS Sword of Erstann was the flagship of the expedition, and rightly so. The Erstann dwarfed the Destroyers that had followed her, and it could be said that the latter's inclusion was overkill. Granted, even if the Erstann could hold a hundred cycles against an entire fleet of primitives, the primitives must be reminded that they faced no just one warship but legion.
Before the ships of the Sovereign dropped out of ftl, a vast swarm of probes had heralded their arrival. An interdiction field was established, to cut off all communications and interdict all transit that might reinforce the new settlement. For those within the system, they would be in a serious dilemma as what stores they possessed would have to suffice.
Aboard the Erstann, the rites were performed, and the Seer consulted in order to determine the will of the Fates. Atkana and Norva were called forth in a hundred upon a hundred hymns, but all knew that no god would aid them in the likely battle with unknown forces. The wards bustled with activity, as Engineers and Technicians completed their duties in bringing up the craft to battle readiness.
The Erstann had been designed to take part in the bitter fighting in the Urlann, in which no generation for three hundred cycles had known peace. It was not uncommon for the Dread Fleet to be outmaneuvered, for a patrol to be waylaid. Great actions were few and far between, with the powers preferring to destroy themselves in a thousand small actions.
The Erstann allowed her sisters to move forward, even the Voltigeur craft that were the bane of all mortals. The Shiplord of the Erstann ,Jan vra Marlbek, conferred with his staff before the transmission was sent. The ancient figure had seen action across the Cosmos, and he did not intend to die in an action that would be little noted by the Annals obsessed with the great battles. Upon his tunic was the Order of Rammenheim, marking him as especially favored by the Crown and the Realm for past actions.
Killercraft left the decks of the Artarxes Carrier, to patrol the Void and descend upon those craft that might wish to break the blockade. Such were legion, thousand upon thousand, though such in regards to overall cost was cheaper than deploying corvettes. Across the wide void, Killercraft squadrons ranged, though not too far from the rearguard. No element was left to chance, not in an engagement which risked the blood of the Great Folk.
A transmission was dispatched to the powers in the system, the system that was to be brought into the Patrimony of the Sovereign.
Interlopers, nonbelievers, you must depart from this region bestowed by the Atkana upon the Eternal Realm. If you refuse, then not even the gods will save you from our wrath. We are the heirs of Wylus, the sons of Feylor, to resist is death.
