Take control of the IRL nation of your choice and do what you think is best (Within realism of course). The possibilities are endless. Will the Chinese fix themselves and force the North Koreans to stop all nuclear tests? Will ISIS gain more land. Will the USA build a wall on their southern border? Will Canada become more conservative? Will Japan outlaw the cancer known as Anime? It is up to you. Keep in mind current IRL threats still exist. North Korea is saber rattling with their wet noodle rockets. Russia is growing ever more aggressive. The UK has voted for Brexit. So on and so fourth. Donald's heart was beating fast. In a few seconds he would become the 45th President. He cleared his throat as the Chief Justice started. Finally Trump opened his mouth and said "I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States." It was done. HE was the most powerful man in the world.
He stepped up to the mic to give his address, clearing his throat, he said
“Chief Justice Roberts, President Carter, President Clinton, President Bush, President Obama, fellow Americans, and people of the world: thank you.
We, the citizens of America, are now joined in a great national effort to rebuild our country and to restore its promise for all of our people.
Together, we will determine the course of America and the world for years to come.
We will face challenges. We will confront hardships. But we will get the job done. Every four years, we gather on these steps to carry out the orderly and peaceful transfer of power, and we are grateful to President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama for their gracious aid throughout this transition. They have been magnificent.

Following that he went inside the US capital and attended a lunch with the members of Congress. Directly afterwards he signed a few things bringing his cabinet ,that had been cleared by Congress, into power. He smiled and joked around with his grand kids and his son Barron before going outside and starting the parade to the White House. That night he ate dinner and then retired to bed ready for his first full day as President. He would be attending the national church service in the morning and then hopefully take calls from world leaders.

The People's Republic of China

In Ürümqi, troops marched through the city as the Chinese Government showed its power to the people of the city showing that it would be safe under Chinese rule, despite the troublesome Insurgents.

Xi himself made an appearance in the city to see the people, and make some speeches. It was an excellent experience as 10,000 troops marched in the parade through the city in what have been called ‘Anti-Terroist’ rallies.



As Xi went to a podium to deliver his speech, he had a lot of things to say. “Ladies and gentlemen, today, I want to let everyone know that the violence that plagues the good people of this province are unacceptable. That we, as the representatives of the People, must fight to protect the good citizens here in this province.”

“Before me, you 10,000 brave souls are only a splash in the bucket of what China is willing to do to ke-” before he could finish his sentence, a bullet slammed into Xi’s forehead, and his head went back violently.

By the time he hit the podium stage, he was undeniably dead. Angry yells could be heard from the soldiers, and the crowd. Their president had just been shot! Assassinated!


Soldiers poured the streets as the sight of the Bullet’s origin was undetected. As the assassin slipped away, the media went completely fucking nuts. Even for Chinese standards, it was crazy. The Government tried to limit the information, but it only took a few minutes for the rest of the world to find out.

Beijing freaked out, and no one knew who'd fill his role, what was going to happen, how the world would view this, or how the population would react. The National People's Congress held an Emergency session. The New Leader of China is……..

Rodrigo Duterte was slouching in his recliner after a long days work. He was drinking juice as he relaxed himself in the comfort of his personal room. Facing him was a widescreen television and he was surfing the channels. Beside him were newly-finished bills sent to him by the congress. Duterte was an extrordinarily powerful man by his own right- he has a supermajority congress, his approval rating remains all time high and he is backed by very powerful personalities and institutions. Despite all these, criticism is as ferocious as ever. Opposition senators and congressmen were working twenty-four seven to file impeachment complaints, having press conferences and releasing exposes about the alleged criminal acts of Duterte when he was still mayor of Davao City.

Duterte then surfed through the news channels.

''...recent bills passed by both senate and congress await only the president's signature. Not included however is the death penalty bill; which was stalled by opposition senators from the Liberal Party and may now take five years to pass in senate...''

then he switched to another channel- ABS-CBN; a network that is supposedly against his administration.

''...extrajudicial killings are still rising despite international condemnation. Today we speak to Senator Leila de Lima about..''

Duterte sighed and coughed it off. He took a sip from his glass of water and switched to PTV; the state-run television.

''...all efforts to legally ouster President Duterte ended yesterday when the house committee of justice effectively dismissed all impeachment cases filed by the opposition...''

Duterte said to himself ''The liberals are probably fuming at this news. They need to give up and instead take a new perspective. They should realize that they are defending the criminals that are slowly putting this country to death!''. Then a knock came and Special Assistant to the President Bong Go came inside. He shut close the doors and changed the channel to the China Global Television Network. Duterte was startled and said to Bong Go, ''What's all the rush about? Bong, please tell me this is important.''

The news showed a shocked news anchor. Tears were slowly running through her eyes. The anchor, shocked and perplexed, said; ''We have breaking news... the President of the Peoples Republic of China, our dear beloved President Xi Jingping... has been shot by assassins minutes ago. I'm sorry... Oh my god...'' the channel then cut programming and a message with the PRC's emblem above it and a translucent image of a smiling Xi Jingping on the lower-right side of the screen was flashed; ''Please stay tuned for more press releases from the government of the Peoples Republic of China. CGTN will be back on air shortly''

Duterte stood up and approached the screen. His eyes enlarged and he looked at Bong Go. ''Tangina. We lost a friend. Go, tell the PCOO to make a press release. Now.''

According to the Somali government a terrorist attack known as Al-Shahab has destroyed half of the city's buildings. President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed was angered about this attack and ordered the Ministry of Defense to raise security across Somalia. After the attack more than 100 people were killed while 34 were injured. This is one of the worst terrorist attacks that Somalia has ever faced.

The new year was a new beginning for Canada. After a hard fought election in 2015, Trudeau had managed to wrestle control from the Conservatives and become Prime Minister. Now, just to the south, the opposite has happened. The Liberal government was taken over by the Conservative Republicans. While, Trudeau hoped that the new President would continue to build on the strong relationships that Canada and America had forged, he couldn’t be sure. Much of the “America First” rhetoric left a bad taste in many Canadian mouths. His anti-NAFTA, anti-TPP and anti-NATO rhetoric also didn’t help the feeling of emerging breaks and cracks in the US-Canadian relationship.

Nonetheless, Trudeau’s first task of the day was to officially welcome the new President to his job. He truly did hope that much of the rhetoric from the campaign trail was just that, rhetoric. And that dealing with the new President would be very fruitful for Canada, and America.

There were also other tasks, the Canadian Air Force was in dire need. Their CF-18s were old. Becoming out of date in the new modern era. It was time for a change. Trudeau had campaigned against the F-35. It was expensive. However, outrage from the Canadian public was too much. As ISIS raged across the Middle East, cries for Canadian assistance for them soon began. However, the Harriers were hardly able to keep up. The Canadian Navy had no ability to sustain themselves either. Their Navy was falling apart and they needed to continue with the rebuilding strategy. Something drastic had to be done on both sides.

A compromise had to be made. Canada would continue with its strategy to use the F-35, particularly the F-35C and A, which was important for one main reason. The VTOL capability. Canada had no Amphibious Assaults ships, at the moment, but that would soon change, Trudeau hoped.

However, instead of completed a full order, he was only going to take enough to train with and then equip for the Canadian Navy. Outside of that, not other purchase would happen. The main fighter aircraft of Canadian Air Force had to come from somewhere else. And who else but their Commonwealth Partner in arms, the United Kingdom. The Eurofighter had established itself as a worth 4th Generation fighter. That would create the mainstay of the Royal Canadian Air Force.

The other issue was the Royal Canadian Navy. The RCN had drifted apart over the past several decades. Once a leader in the world, to a shadow of its former self. This had to change if Canada was to establish itself again, especially as a strong partner to the UK and Europe, should the US decide to continue with its plan to withdraw from its major role in NATO or from NAFTA.
However, its new ship building plan was running far behind schedule. The replacements for their destroyers and frigates were not available yet. However, the official design, the FREMM Universal Frigate, considered one of the premier frigates in the world would be used

However, the contract for their new amphibious assault ships, based on the Mistral design, were underway and Trudeau gave the order for it to continue and for production to begin as soon as possible.

President Enrique Pena Nieto was seated in his office mulling over the future of his nation. The election of President Trump in the United States did not bode well for the continuation of Nieto's up-to-this-point successful economic policy of wooing large American businesses to manufacture in Mexico with cheap labor and low taxes. Furthermore, Nieto had been weak on the issue of Trump's Wall. To top all of this off, there were still rumors floating around that the 2012 election had been hacked in Nieto's favor.

Well, at least me and President Trump have something in common. Thought the President to himself as he poured himself a glass of fine wine. The future was ominous and Nieto could feel it. The President's ruminations were interrupted by a knock at the door.

"Come in." said Nieto swirling his glass of wine. An aide rushed in.

"Mr. President, Secretary of National Defense, Salvador Cienfuegos Zepeda has just resigned." said the aide

"What?!!! When?!!!" demanded the President practically jumping out of his seat.

"Just now, on live television, Mr. President!" replied the aide. President Nieto switched on the TV and watched a live press conference of Zepeda's resignation. Nieto was beside himself with rage and shock.

"We must choose a suitable replacement." said Nieto as he switched off the TV.

"Well, Mr. President, with your ratings...decreasing more than we expected, perhaps it is best to choose a 'man of the people'." suggested the aide

"I see what you mean." replied the President "and yes, I see the value of what you're suggesting. Who would you suggest?"

"General Luis Raphael Santiago." said the aide.

"Why him?" asked Nieto "That man's manners are more aristocratic and refined than mine."

"That is true, Mr. President." replied the aide "However, he is known for his patriotism and also for his success in combating the drug cartels. He would be the perfect candidate for Secretary of National Defense."

President Nieto sat there and thought about it. "Very well." he said finally "Luis Raphael Santiago will be the Secretary of National Defense. Summon him, here to receive his position."

''We have breaking news. Government and the ISIS-linked Maute group exchanged gunfire at around 2:00 PM in Marawi City, Lanao Del Sur. The mayor of the city is currently holed up along with his men in the city hall and they are desperate for government reinforcements. The local police is currently being overrun by the Maute group. Early in the morning, task-force of both army and police officers stormed an apartment near the PNP police headquarters in Marawi in an attempt to capture Isnilon Hapilon; a wanted terrorist when the Abu Sayaaf and the Maute group retaliated and took control of part of the city. So far, President Duterte has been briefed and will be seen in a press conference shortly. Duterte took a deep breath before entering the press room. He stood in an elevated podium, with the background lit blue white and red by LED lights. A large emblem of the Philippine president stands out in the background. Duterte approached the podium and gazed at the hundreds of media present. He had everything in control. For the past few hours, media had gone wild. He had a brief message for the people through the Facebook page of PCOO undersecretary Mocha Uson. Within an hour, his brief message for the people had over a million views in Facebook and all major networks have repeatedly played his message. Duterte looked at the press for one more time and began speaking.

Looking at the piece of paper in the podium he said, ''Today, I declare Martial Law for the island of Mindanao and the ARMM.'' his words were met by a barrage of questions and reactions. ''I have already ordered General Año to respond to the threat in Marawi. Tomorrow, I will leave for Davao to lead the operations from Mindanao. The military and police are already on the ground. All we have to do is to evacuate civilians. I have also cancelled scheduled trips for Russia and China because of this.''

Then, Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella announced that the President is now open to answer questions from the reporters. The room was then filled with questions, it was very loud. After a minute, the noise died down and the President chose the first reporter to ask.

''Good afternoon Mr. President, I'm Marvin Guevarra from Net 25. I'd like to ask if the Maute group that have dug a foothold in Marawi is only an isolated incident and no other such attacks are occurring in Mindanao?'' the reporter asked.

Duterte nodded as he listened and talked. ''As far as we know, this is the only occurrence. But intelligence also advised that we do not relax our guard. That's why I declared Martial Law in Mindanao nga eh. I've also contacted MNLF and MILF to tell me if they hear even just rumors of an impending attack.''

Then he chose another reporter. The reporter stood up and asked him. ''Mr. President, I'm Aida from CNN Philippines there are hashtags in twitter that are trending right now. #NasaanAngPangulo and #NasaanAngBise. What's your reaction to this?''

Duterte shrugged and said; ''I cant really blame them if they don't know what's happening inside the palace. Of course people where ask where I am because they don't know what's happening. Well, let us stop politicizing this incident. That's why I ask both sides, those who are for and against me to stop and instead unite. Mga Pilipino tayo.''

The Supreme Leader sat in his office preparing for a speech that he was to deliver on national television in a short matter of time Ali had a great deal on his mind, from the nuclear progress of his country to the recent rise of terrorist efforts around the globe. Khamenei finished rehearsing his speech and went in front of a camera, where he would be broadcast across the country live. He cleared his throat, and began to speak. My brothers and sisters of Iran, I come before you in utter shock of recent events. It has been revealed to me that the Chinese president has been shot and killed in an apparent terrorist attack. That is why I am announcing the Iranian War on Terror. As evident by the growth of ISIS, the West failed to be successful in their war. Our war, however, will not fail. As we speak, weapons and funds are being sent to Iraqi forces to assist in combating the ISIS threat, meanwhile, Iranian warriors are being sent into Syria on behalf of the rightful Assad government to stave of the combined efforts of the West, ISIS, and deceitful Rebels. As a warning to the West, any further involvement that directly leads to the death of any Iranian soldier will be seen as an attack on the Iranian state.

In order to help stop the rise of nuclear weapons, nuclear proliferation, and the spread of WMDs, Canada is calling all NPT Treaty members, especially the largest nuclear powers of Russia and the United States, to come together in Quebec City Canada for a New Nuclear Plan to ensure that non-NPT states begin to dismantle their programs, and to ensure that each nation keeps an equal and equally defensive arsenal. This rise of independent states such as Israel, Iran, North Korea, Pakistan and India, all with nuclear weapons, cannot continue, the threat is simply too great.

Area around Tabqa Dam

With the Raqqa campaign code-named Wrath of Euphrates with the Syrian Democratic forces pushing ISIS back and the march towards the ISIS de facto capital city of Raqqa. The current strategic goal for the SDF is to take Tabqa city and most importantly Tabqa dam which controls the Euphrates river, before the assault on the dam could take place ISIS opened the dam's turbines to flood the river and forced the SDF to pull out of the area after which ISIS closed the turbines and captured the surrounding areas. ISIS then launched several massive counter attacks on SDF forces which were repelled by the western and SDF forces.

Northern Syria

Another small sets of clashes happened between YPG and Syrian rebels, neither side got the upper hand of the other and several were left dead and wounded. After the Al-Bab offensive the YPG Kurds and the Free Syrian army rebels have been having increased clashes along it's borders. YPG commanders are now once again on the defensive and are preparing for either a weakness in the FSA or a FSA offensive on Kurdish lands. With this they continued hoping for support from their coalition allies against both ISIS and the Turkish-backed FSA; but on a lighter side of things several more Kurdish and Arabic finished training and are being sent to join the YPG,YPJ, and other several forces.

"I would like to once again congratulate you, General Santiago." said President Nieto as he expertly cut his steak

"Congratulate me for what, Mr. President?" asked Santiago

"Your appointment as Secretary of National Defense." replied Nieto, who then forked the piece of steak into his mouth. He chewed, savoring the deliciousness, and then washed it down with a sip of red wine.

"But Mr. President," replied the General "You appointed me as Secretary of National Defense." he added sounding confused. "How then can you congratulate me, when it was you who appointed me?"

"Never mind." replied President Nieto "I suppose all I'm saying is that we should be thankful to God for giving us what we have."

"Yes, Mr. President." replied Santiago crossing himself. The General was a devout Catholic who truly believed in God.

"The Middle East is quite chaotic at the moment." remarked the President, changing the subject.

"As it always is." replied Santiago

"Yes, but now the United States has a...volatile President." stated Nieto "One would've thought Mrs. Clinton's success was guaranteed." he added, out of the blue.

"Much like your own was, Mr. President." quipped Santiago raising his glass to Nieto.

"Indeed." replied the President fixing him coldly. Santiago reciprocated, unafraid of Nieto, unafraid of anyone. "In any case," continued the President "it will be interesting to see how Mr. Trump reacts to the current developments in the Middle East."

"Personally, I'm eager to see you're reaction, Mr. President." replied the General, sipping his wine.

"My reaction to what?" asked President Nieto

"Trump's demands." replied Santiago, "He will be coming here, soon enough. I hope, Mr. President, you will remember your duty to the People of Mexico and her Republic." the General rose from his seat as he finished the sentence. Nieto was indignant

"You dare insult me?! Here, in my house, while I break bread with you?!" he shouted as he too rose from his seat. "Have you forgotten that you serve at my pleasure? Have you forgotten you serve me?"

General Santiago was unfazed by Nieto's anger. "I serve the Mexican people, Mr. President." With that he walked right by the President without shaking his hand or anything, he stopped as he approached the door and turned back, "So do you. Remember that, when Trump comes to pressure you about his Wall."

"Go to Hell!!!" was the President's reply. Santiago ignored him and walked out. Despite all of this, Nieto couldn't dismiss him. He'd need a good reason, and besides the people loved him, and Nieto's popularity was slipping.

Republic of Poland | Warsaw

Warsaw was not a normal city anymore: it was a sea, a sea of two colours, white and red. White and Red flares were spreading light all over the city, making it really resemble a sea. Such an effect was amplified by the uncountable number of Red-and-White bi-colour flags being waved by the huge crowd marching through the city. The crowd was immense: 200,000 people were marching, and all of these had to be listening to the speech the leader of the Ruch Narodowy movement, Justyna Helcyk. Many, many loudspeakers had been placed, and so all of them could listen to their leader.

Justyna Helcyk was a young who had risen the ladder of politics pretty easily and quickly, due to her unbeliveable charisma and ability to capture the heart and the mind of every single listener. She had been leader of a section of the ONR for a couple of years, and had then become leader of the ONR as a whole. Having been in such a position for three years, she changed the party position to a more democratic and less authoritarian one, while still retaining all the Nationalism and xenofobia that used to characterise the party. Her ONR, however, was also Neo-Slavist, seeking a good and peaceful cooperation with Russia, as well as an enlargement of the country, and the moving of the borders further east, at least to the pre-WW2 border, not to mention the ONR's support for Serbia over the Kosovo issue.
It had been a year now since she took over the RN, Ruch Narodowy or "National Movement", and transformed it from a strong alliance to a unified party, a year full of success for her and the Movement: the refugee crisis, Syria, and the Ukraine all played very well into the party's strategy of overinflating the both danger caused by muslim immigrants and the inefficiency and incompetency of "mainstream" politicians in handling crisis situations. In the days preceding the rally, the RN was polled around 27% of consensus, and in constant growth, foreseeing that it would have reached 40% by the following year.

But now Justyna, that young 34 years old woman who was leading the country's main political party, was standing in front of a gigantic crowd, right before Warsaw's Royal Castle. As she was about to begin her speech, there were three words which were being sung by the crowd as a whole, resounding through the city as a roaring thunder: "Bóg, Honor, Ojczyzna!", meaning "God, Honour, Fatherland!", was the slogan being chanted by the whole crowd. Justyna waited for the rowd to stop, after she had walked over the stage. Then, just as she reached the podium, they all stopped, and she could start to speak.

"Poles!" she shouted "I salute you all, my brothers and sisters of the Polish nation, my dear brothers-in-arms in this war against Zionism, liberalism, globalization, and all of the enemies of our nation! We stand here today, carrying our flags, re-asserting our belonging, and re-affirming our pride to be Polish because of a reason. And this reason is you yourselves; it's us. Dear brothers and sisters, you have succeeded in making the party great, we have succeded! The enemies that surround us have their spies inside Poland as well: right now, one of Poland's members of Parliament is giving information to a foreign agent, and another one is lobbying for the interest of a foreign power. And this is because we have allowed it to go down this spiral without doing anything to stop it. Corruption lies everywhere, rapists are all around the streets, robber and smugglers are just looking for new victims, as are the murderers that live in our country. These are our enemies: the corrupted, the rapists, the tax-evaders, the murderers, the robbers, and the smugglers! But these enemies are internal ones, they are deviated Polish people. The main threat to our country are the external enemies. They come from Ukraine, Germany, Lithuania! They can be wherever they want, whenever they want, doing whatever they want, because of the corruption of our politicians and despite all efforts by our god-blessed law enforcement and military who try to stop them. Yet the fiercest of these enemies of ours is not the German or the Ukrainian, but the Muslim! They are seeking to establish Sharia law all over Europe, and one of them, Anjem Choudary, especially referred to Poland as one of the main targets. If the people are governed by else than Allah, it is a form of oppression. Thanks to our politics, your regime will be overthrown, and the people will be happy... with no heads. After arriving at the airport and being escorted in a APC protected by several technicals the Somali President arrives to the capital city of Rojava. He is brought into the capital building where the two presidents await for him, "Hello Mr. Mohamed, you must show great interest here to fly to this part of the world." said Hediya, "Yes especially one that is currently fighting, I'm surprised you didn't get shot down. But we have more important things to talk about like why you have came here to talk with us." said Mansur as they both patiently waited for his reply.

Raqqa Governorate

The SDF forces continued their attack against ISIS militants in the Raqqa Governorate. A small push north of the city managed to liberate 4 villages and were held firm from ISIS counter-attacks which were repelled with heavy losses for both sides with the SDF claiming that 24 fighters were killed and 96 wounded and killing 245 ISIS militants and wounding several hundreds, ISIS claims they inflicted more losses on the SDF but these claims were denied by other sources. The push for Taqba dam was on hold for ISIS military positions were too heavily defended. The preparations for the third phase were almost complete, SDF forces were preparing to cut Raqqa off from the eastern country side and completely enclose the capital of ISIS from reinforcements and supplies.

Moscow, Russian Federation

Several Russian military formations within the Russian Ground Forces were being reorganized and raised again to boost the strength of the Russian Ground Forces and operational capability in all potential theatres near the Russian Border, as well as the new orders to begin expanding the Russian Navy by beginning to construct new Frigates, Destroyers and Submarines, with an Aircraft Carrier undergoing the final phase of planning before entering construction. The Russian Air Force was also preparing for the serial production of the MiG-35, Su-35BM, Tu-160M2, Tu-22M3 and potentially the PAK FA.

President Vladimir Putin watched the situation intensively as several senior military officers displayed varying slides of a gradually moving map of what appeared to be territories controlled by different factions in the Syrian Arab Republic. They pointed out how the Syrian Arab Army had gained several key strategic areas and that the Syrian opposition was losing its capability to engage in major battles and produce any real outcome, which enabled Putin to give off a short smile before composing himself. Something that dampened his mood, was the massive expansion of territories controlled by the Peoples Protection Units (YPG), which was nothing but the Syrian branch of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) terrorist group, under the guise of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) which includes non-Kurdish majority land and now territory beyond the Euphrates River. This concerned Putin as it no longer enabled to SAA to block off Raqqah from the south and prevent any more Kurdish incursions into territory beyond the Euphrates River and could lead to a major land grab by US proxy forces. He would not allow this, the territorial sovereignty of the Syrian Arab Republic would be maintained and the illegal entity of Rojava would have to be squashed or contained before it could start gaining leverage.

Putin would personally give the order to deploy the Russian Armed Forces, including Spetsnaz elements of the VDV, to the areas along the Euphrates River and to protect Deir-ez-Zor. The deployment would also include new contingents of Russian Marines and Russian Ground Forces arriving at military bases in Syria already being used as operational facilities by the Russian Navy and Russian Air Force to pave the way for a conventional ground campaign against ISIS and the Syrian opposition, but also the massive enlargement of the Russian air group in Syria.

"The Russian Federation find it absolutely unacceptable that the United States and its NATO allies are using the Syrian Democratic Forces, SDF, which consists of nothing more than the Peoples Protection Units, YPG, a widely recognised terrorist wing of the Kurdistan Workers Party, PKK, is attempting to balkanize Syria in an attempt to continue waging a US-Russia proxy war and hamper the ability of the Syrian Arab Army under the legitimate leadership of President Bashar Al-Assad to conduct operations on their territory to retake rightful Syrian lands back from Syrian opposition and ISIS. The Kurds have stepped over the line by crossing the Euphrates River and we now stand strongly with the Republic of Turkey in saying that the YPG must not be involved in any operation which will seize Raqqah from ISIS, Russia demands that the job is left to the Syrian Arab Army and the Russian Armed Forces, with elements of Hezbollah, Popular Mobilization Units, Arab Nationalist Guard, Jaysh al-Muwahhideen, Liwa Fatemiyoun, Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Gozarto Protection Force, Syrian Resistance, Ba'ath Brigades and Al-Abbas brigade, whom legitimate combatants that have the permission of the Syrian government to conduct operations on Syrian territory and we are now making a formal demand that the Kurdish forces leave all territories held that are across the Euphrates River. Should the YPG and its other proxy allies continue to advance towards Raqqah and not retreat to positions that are on its side of the Euphrates River, the Russian Air Force will strike YPG positions across Rojava and use military force to eject the YPG from all territories that are beyond the Euphrates River."

The Russian Air Force deployed to its primary military air base in Syria had received orders from high command in Moscow to begin immediate preparations for extensive combat operations in Northern Syria. The grand force consisted of Tu-22M3, Tu-95MS and Tu-160M2 Strategic Bombers, Su-24M2 and Su-34 Tactical Bombers, Su-25SM Attack Bombers, Su-30SM and Su-35S Multirole Aircraft and Mi-24P, Mi-28N and Ka-52 Attack Helicopters. Alone, since the start of its intervention in the Syrian Civil War in 2015, Russian airstrikes had killed 3,300+ ISIS members and 3,400+ Syrian opposition members, with several strikes crippling key strategic areas and hampering these groups ability to conduct any major operation.

Statement by the Syrian Democratic Forces in response to Russia's ultimatum

While we understand Russia's request to pull back from Raqqah and move back to our side of the Euphrates River we must reply that we are doing this to help Syria remain stable. We understand that the Syrian Arab Army is responsible for protecting Syria but it is currently overextended in it's fight against both ISIS and the Syrian Opposition, we will happily transfer control over to the SAA once they are capable of doing so. We also must say that the capture of Raqqah is almost at hand and taking the de facto capital of ISIS will benefit all of Syria and the world. All we ask is that we are allowed to continue the fight against them, for if we are to pull back ISIS will take back all the villages and towns that have been liberated from them, also the SAA is currently unable to come close to Raqqah. We instead ask that Russia and the Assad government support us, we do not wish hostilities between our sides.I have from our two presidents a counter offer, The Russian and SAA support our offensive of Raqqa, grant our autonomy to govern ourselves, and that our forces be left unharmed by Russian and Syrian airstrikes. In return we will once the Assad government is capable, give back control of all lands excluding the Efrin canton across the Euphrates back to SAA control and we will try to prevent any further clashes between SDF and SAA forces. That is all we ask, we expect your answer soon and that you choose correctly.

After this reply has been made 50 more mostly Arab fighters have finished training and have been sent to join the Raqqah offensive.

"It has come to my attention that the Russians have done a 180 on their relations with the Kurds, and have decided to one and for all oppose us against Syria. I have hoped from the beginning that we could find a common ground and Syria and find a solution that fit all of our needs. One that allowed for Syria, and more important Syrians, as well as Kurds, to survive. The war has gotten far to complicated for a simple conlclusion. With the new Russian actions, it is clear that the Russians care little about defeating ISIS and radical terrorism, and more on continuing the grind of hell that the Syrian people are going through today.

I am today, to show my support to Kurdistan. To show our support, as Canadians, to an independent Kurdistan. Currently, Canadian troops are already deployed in Iraqi Kurdistan, training and equipping the Kurdish Peshmerga there for combat against ISIS. It is now our current prerogative to continue to equip the Peshmerga so that they can continue to be successful against the ISIS militants. As of now, the Kurds and the Government do not have to be enemies. But, now, since Russia wants them to be enemies, this will simply lead to more dead on both sides.

Canada, also, officially recognizes Kurdistan as an independent nation without a homeland, a stateless state to say. We hope that together with NATO, Europe and China and the UN, we will be able to overcome Russian opposition to the move and find a solution that allows for the Kurds to finally be allowed their own homeland."
