I'll count this as a sign-up, but as Newmanistan said, this thread is for sign-ups only, so please save your roster and RPing for when the everything thread goes up in a couple weeks.

Edit: And yes, the World Baseball Classic allows both males and females to participate and gives the individual nations the opportunity to decide what their team will be.
For example, my team is all male, but teams like Cassadaigua and Newmanistan are all female, while a lot of other teams, like Super-Llamaland and Maklohi Vai have mixed teams. It would also be funny if you changed the name of your female player to Madison Bumgarner and still made it a female.

As Newmanistan said, it does not really matter, just as long as it is not distractingly unrealistic.

I don't know if Schiltzberg saw this, and he'll have to issue a definitive ruling, but generally speaking, all bids must include, at the very minimum, information on what scorinator will be used and format of the tournament. Stadiums are not necessary to be included in the bid itself, and often aren't.

Cassadaigua has been elected host of WBC 40. They will determine when sign-ups officially close. Right now, we are at 47 sign-ups, three of which are puppets. As president, I will leave sign-ups open until the host instructs me otherwise.
