School uniforms in your nation [v2]

Postby Republic of La Boca » Mon Apr 10, 2017 1:06 pm

Muslim girls are required to wear niqab, hiyab, burka or chador. In Republic of La Boca, girls of less than 2 years old usually go shirtless. Boys usually wear a cap, shorts, jumper during winter although it's not really cold. Most men and boys usually go shirtless because of poverty.

In the interest of promoting equality and discouraging individualism, Kirislavia's public school system requires all students, including university students, to wear uniforms. Students must wear a white blouse, red scarf, black lace-up dress shoes, and (depending on gender) black trousers or a black pinafore dress. They may not personalise the uniform in any way, and must abide by hairstyle regulations as well. Members of the Communist Youth are allowed to wear their official membership pin to school, if they choose.

Specialised schools (such as training for the military, intelligence, and secret police) require different uniforms.

That sounds awful. You ought to invest in clothing. Here in Nuovoiork, students can wear anything they like, since the schools are not separated from the state, meaning that it is just like society, but in a school.

There are no requirements for uniforms in public schools, but private schools often require them. The largest private school system in the country is ran by the Universalist Church of Pampersburg. These uniforms typically come in shades of light grey and powder blue, with girls required to wear a modest dress and boys a combination of a blue shirt and shorts from kindergarten through middle school. High school boys and girls are issued a full jacket and trousers or a combination of a skirt and blouse.

In the interest of promoting informality, personal freedom and self-expression, and discouraging blind compliance, no schools in the Empire require uniforms of any kind. According to Phoenix Empress Helga, uniforms are formal, ugly and uncomfortable.

All children are required to go to a government sponsored and controlled school. School uniforms are mandatory and are paid for by the government.

School uniforms for all children look militarised and are similar to a military dress uniform.

Uniforms are not mandated by federal law but many schools, especially in middle/upper class areas, use them. It is also common that every Friday, students don't have to wear their uniforms.

Public schools in the Greater Siriusian Domain have only one rule in regards to dress: Decency - as long as you're properly covered and thus decent in public, you're completely fine. In the case of some species, their bodies have enough natural covering that they don't need clothes to fulfill this requirement.

Private schools vary.

School uniforms are non-compulsory in Malaguenian schools, instead schools adopt a dress code. Students are to wear what they wont, but the dress codes usually don't allow premium-branded clothes, or anything trashy; but revealing clothing is generally accepted (as long as it not reaviling too much) because Malaguenia's subtropical climate allows more tolerance to such attire.

There is a proposal in the world assembly that seeks to flash up a debate about the whole world abandoning them. If the proposal gets approved then gets onto the WA floor and voted in favour then none of you would be able to have school uniforms unless you left the WA. I respect your democratic rights, thats why Im putting it to a vote at the WA

Atlanteans are required to wear school uniforms. Exception is college and university, though there is a dress code. The following is a basic template for uniforms.

Elementary (ordinary): Button short-sleeve shirt (with coat for winter, can be augmented with thick jacket), slacks, white socks and black leather shoes for boys. Serafuku-style blouse (with sweater for winter, can be replaced with cardigan or augmented with thick jacket), knee-length skirt, knee-high white socks (stockings for winter) and black leather shoes (preferably mary janes, flats only) for girls.

Middle School (ordinary): Same as elementary, except all socks are black, girls' skirts are higher by 25.4 mm, preferred girls' shoes are loafers, and girls are allowed to wear dark brown shoes.

High School: Same as middle school, except girls' skirts are higher by another 25.4 mm, and girls are allowed to wear wedges and heels, although only up to 25.4 mm in height.

Higher Education (Dress Code): No backless or midriff-revealing shirts, no basketball jerseys (unless it is part of subject or unless wearer is part of a basketball team), no skirts 203.2 mm above the knee, no flip flops, no heels or wedges higher than 152.4 mm.

PE: Shirt (with jacket for winter), jogging pants and rubber shoes (must adhere to colour rules as per school regulation; colour rules vary from school to school). All swimsuits must be one piece for girls, and short-like trunks for boys.

There is also a hair rule, which prevents extreme hairstyles, though this does not apply to college and university.
Uses certain NS stats.

Atlantis is an MT nation that is the third richest country in the world, behind only China and the United States. It is closer to the USA, UK, Italy and Spain (in that order, though Italy and Spain is probably tied) culturally than it is Greece. It is also a naval power.

And no, Atlantis is not underwater: It has a land area around the size of France.

Pros: Classical liberalism, democracy, the West, Brexit, Viktor Orban, free education, strong military
Cons: Authoritarianism, fascism, communism, multiculturalism, Islamism

Are students required to wear uniforms in school? Only for official occasions:
If so, what do they wear? A knee-length skirt or kilt in school colors, with a shirt or t-shirt with the school logo or crest. On cold days, this is supplemented by knee-length socks in school colors, shoes, and a blazer in school colors, with or without a raincoat. Except for the shoes and raincoats, the schools will provide the garments.

At other times, children rarely wear anything at all. Only in cold weather will they wear clothing, usually something similar to their school uniforms, usually in local, family or tribe colors.
Yannia's nation page contains an error. The population should be in millions, not in billions.

All Zhouranese primary schools, middle schools and high schools are required to have both standard and ceremonial uniforms for students.

Following the establishment of the modern Zhouranese education system in early 1861, Zhouranese schools from elementary, lower-secondary and higher-secondary education use Western-style school uniforms for students. However, a standardized uniform design was not created until somewhere in late 1884.

While the uniforms vary widely by individual school, a typical Zhouranese school uniform generally consists of a pleated plaid skirt, closed low-cut shoes or saddle shoes, a blouse or collared white shirt with sleeves, a tie, a sweater and outerwear for the winter season, for girls; for boys, a long-sleeved collared white shirt, a tie, dress trousers, and outerwear for the winter season. Both sexes usually wear a blazer when required by regulations or weather.

Following the establishment of the modern Zhouranese education system in early 1861, Zhouranese schools from lower-secondary and higher-secondary education use military-style ceremonial school uniforms, which were created somewhere in early 1911, for special occasions.

While the uniforms vary slightly by individual school, the Zhouranese ceremonial school uniforms are inspired by Zhouranese-style military uniforms and Zhouranese Military Field Duty Attire (a type of Zhouranese military attire created in early 1907). The uniform generally consists of a Military Shirt-Coat (a Zhouranese military coat created in early 1861), dress trousers, military field duty boots (military boots from the Military Field Duty Attire that rises to mid-calf or higher with no laces and has a thick sole with hobnails and metal heels), a Ceremonial Uniform Rope (a Zhouranese ornamental braided cord that was created in early 1861, features an ornamental aiguillette tip, uses a knot or loop arrangement and is hung from the shoulder), and a Ceremonial Military Belt (a type of Zhouranese cloth belt of gold/silver braid created in early 1861 that features a plate-style buckle).

While headwear varies by each school, Zhouranese ceremonial school uniforms generally use Military Field Duty Hats (a Zhouranese wide-brimmed felt hat created in late 1904 that is often worn, although not always, with a chinstrap, and has the left side of the brim turned up or pinned to the side of the crown) with Military Ear Caps (a Zhouranese short cylinder-shaped fur hat created in early 1859) being used for colder seasons.

School uniforms have been used in Gandoor since the early 20th century, although they didn't become mandatory until the passage of a 1982 law repealing the 1979 abolishment of school uniforms.

The wearing of uniforms is required in all school levels up to and including secondary. While they are not legally required in post-secondary education, many colleges and universities still require students to wear a uniform while attending.

While the specific designs for uniform will vary from school to school, the basic design of the uniform will be the same for every school level.

Primary School:
Primary school uniforms consist of a white collared shirt with the school's emblem imprinted on them and shorts, pants, or a skirt.

Intermediate School:
Intermediate school uniforms consist of a sailor-fuku for females and a while collared shirt, a blazer with the school emblem, and pants or shorts for males.

Secondary School:
Secondary school uniforms consist of a white collared shirt with a tie, a blazer with the school emblem, and shorts, pants, or a skirt.
