History
Albert Vernhard served the Duestch Army in WWI as a tank mechanic in the army. He had started out as an Ambulence driver but after showing mechanical talent on the field being able to help soldiers repair equipment and repair his ambulance himself he was transferred to the engineer force. He became one of the best engineers serving at the battle of Verdun, arriving a couple of days before the Germans destroyed the French forces taking over the fortifications. He was able to repair 7 tanks in fire only sustaining a minor injury to his foot when a bullet grazed his boot. After his service in the army he and his friends from the engineers were jobless. They all went trying to get jobs, and Albert got one at a workshop, but he wanted more. He got into automobiles and car racing and decided he wanted to make cars, he went to Detroit and built a car for the annual Ford Derby just outside the city, he had built his own car with some of his friends. They one first place and several thousand dollars to start the company.

With the money from the race, Albert started his company along with many of his old colleagues who were still jobless. They designed farming vehicles first, using tech designs from the tanks to make more efficient tractors and combines. They were able to begin mass producing them and sell them all over Saxony and Bavaria, the key farming areas of Germany. Albert decided he didn't want to stick to making tractors and decided to start a line of sports cars in 1931 with the first car being the Liberte Sachsen, the car became a hit among the rich and upper middle class and the car soon became a sign of wealth for the people of Duestchstien. The car brand continued to grow and produce the best cars on the market. The headquarters in Wittenberg was increased 3 times in 9 years. In World War Two the company switched to building tanks and armored cars, but kept a small section still open for building cars for the company which became highly valued since they were so rare.
The company continued expanding after the war making innovations in the industry no one had ever seen before. With all sorts of new cars and tractors being built. In the 1960s the company began a line of sedans to market to the upper middle class, some thought this tarnished the brand name, but in fact it didn't. The cars were still the best and most prized on the market and only the wealthy and and most succesful of the middle class could buy them. The company started their motorcycle line in the 1980s to start marketing to the younger more adventurous
