Overview
Santiago Pinochet International Airport is the main airport serving Santiago, the capital city of Paleno. The airport has 3 terminals, one for domestic flights and two for international flights.
Alpinas, the flag-carrier of Paleno, has its main hub here and flies to dozens of routes throughout the world.
Transportation
Santiago-Pinochet is located in the northwestern area of Santiago and is connected to the rest of the city via various transportation modes.
• AeroExpress trains run every 20 minutes. They go from the Santiago-Pinochet Airport train station station to Plaza Bolivianas (city center) in 15 minutes for €15 one-way.
• Santiago Metro trains stop at every terminal and run every 5 minutes. They go from metro stations at every terminal to Plaza Bolivianas (city center) in 1 hour for a €1.50 one way ticket, and €15 for a metro pass.
• Taxis and buses are abundant, averaging at around a 45 minute trip to Plaza Bolivianas (city center) for €5-€30 one-way.
• Avis, Enterprise, Lys and Serena all offer rental cars starting at €35/day.
