Who We are
The League of Asian Nations consists of exclusively East and South Asian direct, alternative, or inspired nations. Coming from diverse, yet similar and unified backgrounds and histories, the nations of LAN pursue to further preserve and collaborate on each nation's respective cultures and economies without the limitation of political barriers or military conflicts.
Our Mission
The League of Asian Nations work towards unifying the cultural and economic aspects of Asian nations. This means creating Asian banks, economic trade, economic collaboration of both private companies and government agencies, trusts, loans, and other endless economy-related unique actions. We also strive to create and preserve our great culture.
In the LAN, nations can collaborate on innovative technologies, explore and record information in fields of science such as space or natural environments, or introducing and showing off one's traditional language, music, customs, etc.
The only time military activity is related or present in LAN is when a LAN nation declares a state of emergency in a form of foreign aggression, invasion, or war. Nations are required to consider giving military aid, but are not required to take action. Peaceful alternative solutions are highly recommended. Aid in the form of material instead of military is a better and recommended solution.

4. Nations must recognize and respect other's traditions and customs. There are very few exceptions to this rule.Funding
Like every organization, the LAN needs money in order to fully operate. Budget includes administration, emergency savings, peacekeeping, festival and conferences, international aid, and maintaining other properties. The LAN promises no hidden fees or payments for membership, which means no mandatory donations to become a member of the LAN. The majority of the cost is covered by Bohseon and the Nationstates Development Fund. The LAN highly encourages nations to heartily donate any sum of money in Nationstates Dollars.
