Ropaire Inn, second floor
As Mona awoke from her slumber, she had grinned.
Today was the day of the Spring Festival, the beginning of the new year and quite a few other important things stuffed into this one function. Getting dressed into the children's version of the Geansai in Lodan Lir's Colours, the young Envoy couldn't help but to grin, her blue eyes sparkling.
She loved Festivals in all their glory and she loved travelling to all the different places in the Free Lands and abroad, where festivals were held. This one, however, would be special due to a multitude of circumstances, both for her personally and for the ones attending it today - Music would be played on many stages, the Greyfox Cup would be held, the Spring Sacrafice would be made and a whole lot of other things. Hundreds and thousands of people were expected, not counting in the population of Cuan itself.
The City of the Rivers' Crossing was beautiful and ideal for this festival, she thought. And the weather wasn't bad either, sunny and warm for a day in early spring.
Her caretaker, Amy Bansagart, Priestess of Lodan Lir herself, had a date with her boyfriend and a few other guests after the formalities and duties were done, so she was free to roam the Festival by her lonesome - that'd be awesome, she concluded, but duties came first.
Duties as Envoy of Lodan Lir always came first, she thought as she fixed her orange-blonde long hair into a Selkie-braid, something she could do rather well by now. Looking like she wanted it to, she gave herself in the mirrow a firm nod and grinned.
Still... today would be awesome, she concluded, as she came down to breakfast in the main hall a few minutes later - it was half past seven in the morning and the Ropaire Inn was already busy tending to its guests.
She wondered who she would meet during the day...
