Is gay marriage legal in any parts of your country, or has legislation on it not been passed yet?
No.
If no, why not?
"Marriage" is defined in the Sahrani constitution as a union between a man and a woman. In accordance with religious principles, gay marriage legislation have not been passed to avoid the weakening of traditional family values.
Are there any regions, states, provinces, etc. in your country that gay marriage is illegal?
Yes, all.
What percentage of your population is homosexual?
Unofficial surveys put the number at around 1-2%, but the actual value is unknown.
Have religious or atheistic beliefs influenced your decision to make gay marriage legal or illegal?
Yes, the primary reason that gay marriage is illegal is due to the religious nature of the country. Sahranians are deeply religious, and in a country with a Catholic majority and a significant Sunni Muslim minority, gay marriage goes against the teachings of the country's two major religions.

Are schools allowed to refuse LGBT people?
Yes.
Are jobs allowed to refuse LGBT people?
Yes.

Are restaurants and other services allowed to refuse service to LGBT people?
Yes.

Are LGBT people allowed to adopt?
No.

Are jobs allowed to refuse LGBT people? No.
Are restaurants and other services allowed to refuse service to LGBT people? No.

Is gay marriage legal in any parts of your country, or has legislation on it not been passed yet? Gay marriage is not legal throughout the nation
If no, why not? Marriage is seen as a religious institution that is between a man and woman. Homosexuals are allowed civil unions which allow for some civil recognition (such as next of kin, health insurance, etc.) but are not entitled to tax credits or a marriage certificate.
Are there any regions, states, provinces, etc. in your country that gay marriage is illegal? The entire nation does not allow for gay marriage.
What percentage of your population is homosexual? ~3%
Have religious or atheistic beliefs influenced your decision to make gay marriage legal or illegal? Religious law is seen as the highest law of the land.
Are schools allowed to refuse LGBT people? Public schools, no. Private schools, yes. Any school that receives provincial or national funds are not allowed to turn away LGBT people
Are jobs allowed to refuse LGBT people? Yes, unless the job is public sector or the private business receives provincial or national funds
Are restaurants and other services allowed to refuse service to LGBT people? Yes, unless the service is public sector or private business that receives provincial or national funds
Are LGBT people allowed to adopt? Yes, although preference is given to heterosexual couples all else being equal. In addition, the presence of traditional gender roles must be demonstrated (protector and nurturer). This is most commonly done through demonstrating a single, stable source of income from one individual and a recommendation for the nurturing figure via parent, teacher, or community leader (clergyman, Senator, mayor, etc.)

Is gay marriage legal in any parts of your country, or has legislation on it not been passed yet? Same Sex Marriage is legal throughout the nation.

Are there any regions, states, provinces, etc. in your country that gay marriage is illegal? No, the measure was approved at the federal level in 2016. In Muslim majority regions, specifically areas that have repeated unrest, local governments often defy the state. In the Slavic and mostly Orthodox north, repression exists through unofficial but less insurgent channels.

What percentage of your population is homosexual? 3.8%

Have religious or atheistic beliefs influenced your decision to make gay marriage legal or illegal? Communist and Leftist remnants from our past played a part in normalizing same sex relationships in major population centers. Religious opposition to the law exists among Buddhists, Christian's, and Muslims.

Are schools allowed to refuse LGBT people? Religous schools are allowed to deny LGBT people admission.

Are jobs allowed to refuse LGBT people? Not officially, but it occurs frequently enough to be problematic in both urban and rural communities.

Are restaurants and other services allowed to refuse service to LGBT people? Again, no. Technically.

Are LGBT people allowed to adopt? Yes.

Postby Greater Ciscarpathia » Thu Jan 27, 2022 5:13 am

Is gay marriage legal in any parts of your country, or has legislation on it not been passed yet?
A: The Imperial Fatherland of Greater Ciscarpathia expresses its profound discontent with the notion that members of the LGBTQ community should receive special treatment due to their aberrance and explicit audacity. Within the crownland territories that together make up Greater Ciscarpathia, it is illegal to partake in any sexual activity that deviates from heterosexuality. This includes partaking in the celebration of peculiar sexuality pride or attempting to normalize the condition amongst other things.
If no, why not?
A: Understanding the jeopardies and the very authentic threat of the adverse effects of peculiar sexual orientations (Homosexuals), the symptoms caused by the medical condition designated as Gender Dysphoria, upon the birthrate of the nation and the mental conflict caused by one of the worst disgraces of human nature. Such a concept cannot be allowed to subsist in our pure Imperial Fatherland, as granting such freedoms and/or liberties to those who desire such a revolting ideology will indubitably lead their society into anarchy, ergo, leading to the downfall of the glorious nation-state. We hereby declare any and all instances of deviant sexual orientation illegal and punishable as a Tier I Violation.
Are there any regions, states, provinces, etc. in your country that gay marriage is illegal?
A: Yes, everywhere.
What percentage of your population is homosexual?
A: Officially, zero. Homosexuality is a felon, and punishable by the Three-Strike System.
Have religious or atheistic beliefs influenced your decision to make gay marriage legal or illegal?
A: As the Separation of the Church and State is Constitutional, it would be unconstitutional for religious beliefs to influence our legislature. Instead, in accordance to the Act of Golden Truth, the science behind our studies are sound - if insensitive - and the observation of the West; degeneracy and division that we wish to avoid via outlawing homosexuality.
Are schools allowed to refuse LGBT people?
A: It is expected that no LGBTs are to ever visit our schools, for they are prohibited from our lands. But if the hypothetical were to arise, then yes. The local authorities would be also notified, and the homosexual shall be incarcerated in accordance to the severity of their actions that they have committed, as defined by the exclusive Three-Strike Law.
Are jobs allowed to refuse LGBT people?
A: See above.
Are restaurants and other services allowed to refuse service to LGBT people?
A: See #Are schools allowed to refuse LGBT people?
Are LGBT people allowed to adopt?
A: Absolutely not. As per our constitution, we are under no obligation to condone homosexuality in any form or fashion. Nor do we intend or want to, it is a taboo in our society - we do not want homosexuality.
