[Greater Slavic Union]

This thread is a thread for the discussions of the 2050 Slavic Congress in Prague.

The following countries will take part in the discussions:

Severoslovanské Carstvo - Northern Slavic Empire (GSU)
New Jugoslav Empire (Francophone Alliance)
Russia (Nasaira)
Croatia (NPC, Entitaria-controlled)
Bulgaria (NPC, Entitaria-controlled)
The Holy Order Of Levantia (The Canadian North-West, observer)

The congress will be divided in two parts.
In the first section, every delegation will have the right to voice their opinion, and invite other delegations to vote in a certain way, but observer countries will NOT have the right to vote.
In the second section, however, the observer countries, while still retaining the right to voice their opinion and invite other delegations to vote in a certain way, will ALSO have the right to vote.

The topics of the first session are the following:
- Strengthening ties between slavic countries
- Relations between Slavic and non-Slavic countries
- Ways to peacefully unify
- Define the needs of the Slavic Peoples
- Deifine friends and foes of the Slavic Peoples

The topics of the second session are the following, sorted by proposing country:

- Economic Union
- Military Alliance
- Joint Programs of Civilian Research

- Large Scale Industrial Economic Deal
- Religious Diversity
- Armed Forces Joint Military Exercises

- Technology sharing
- Militarization of European nations

For what concerns the topics of the second session, every country will have the possibility to choose up to three topics. Such topics must be declared during the first session, so they can be added to the list.

Each player, when arriving, has to state the number of people the delegation is formed by, as well their identities. It would be better if one delegate per part of the delegation has his personal infos written and sent to the organizers of the Congress before the congress starts*.

The format will be a semi-IC one.

Remember, I will make you all RP following the format of the Model United Nations. If you do not know the various procedures, feel free to ask in private, via TG.

Mrs. Ponomarčenkova is one of the Slavic Military Forces' most decorated heroes, despite being just 31 years old, and also one of the most high-ranking officers, having the rank of Birgadier General with Special Functions, meaning she is the Acting Commander of a Division.

Because of her high profile and importance to the country, she will be accompanied by four armed guards.

The Federation of the Greater Nile is more than proad to be a part of this congress, with their close ties with the Slavic Empire only getting ever more reliant and productive as the two are already in talks at the 2050 PCE summit, and are planning close industrial ties for the future. Many of the other close allies, such as the United Republic of Europe and the United African Federation are also attending, and it looks as if this congress will be a huge success.

Immediately, as the Nilean and Roman delegations arrived, they were welcomed by the Emperor, the Empress, the rest of the delegates, and a group of military guards, dressed in ceremonial dresses. The Northern Slavic National Anthem started being played, as Michal opened his arms and greeted them.

"I am proud to welcome you all to my country, to OUR country!" Michal told them "I hope you will spend a wonderful time here, and that discussions at the Congress, with your countries, will give as many profits as possible, and will results in strengthened relations between our countries. Unluckily, we have to inform you that the Russian and Jugoslav delegations will arrive here late, so the First Session of the Congress will lack the two main pillars outside the Severoslovanské Carstvo. Now, is there anything you would like to dicuss with me and our delegation before other delegations arrive and the Congress starts?" He said, presenting them the various members of the delegation.

<Ali> "It is the FGN's opinion that while the world is full of unrest conflict and escalation is completely counterproductive. While the KCZ and the IDF have their differences, it is not the time to make any of these relations even more tense then they already are. The FGN has adopted a clean slate policy, basically meaning any nation can contact us and try to pacify relations, mostly Andulasia, China, and the HAC. This isn't the time for another world war, we need peace, so that's what we should look for."

President Ali decided it was time to discuss his opinion on the points that Giuseppe had made.

Ludmila Křevčová stepped in, and she bowed slightly to the Emperor.
"Your Majesty, may I state our Country's opinion on this?" she then asked.

"Sure, Ludmila, sure. Go on." he told her.

"Thank you very much, our Emperor." then she turned to the two heads of state "Well, our country sincerely appreciates the peace effort promoted by the Federation of the Greater Nile, else there would have been o point at all in inviting a Russian delegation here, but there is also something we strongly believe in. The IDF, which includes our country and yours', won the Third World War. What we have managed to do was overcoming the main world industrial and demographical power and the most resource-rich country in the world. We, as winners, deserve a better position in the world than the losing side. We are not for humiliating terms, just we say that the IDF should avoid any other Alliance to try to become a world power. Obviously, the Pan-Continental is a friend of the IDF, and we thus believe it shares a place on the highest spot with the IDF, but this is our position on the relations between the KCZ and the IDF.
For what concerns militarization in Europe, well, we do not consider it an actual problem, as long as Europe remains a mostly-IDF continent." Ludmila said, waiting for an answer.

Look I know just as much as you that the KCZ could become a threat, but right now the true threat to everyone is global unrest and economic instability, and maybe, it's worth working together to solve that."

"Ah, yes Empress. I was born in the Republic but father was a fellow Slav who immigrated from poland and my mother in Rome." Luca gives the water back to the Bodyguard. "In response to Ali, Russia a fellow member of the previous enemy alliance the Shanghai Pact, So it would be right to assume that they may join the KCZ in revenge." Luca says to the empress "Also I feel that we should militarize just in case someone decides to join the wrong alliance"

"Ah, yes Empress. I was born in the Republic but father was a fellow Slav who immigrated from poland and my mother in Rome." Luca gives the water back to the Bodyguard. "In response to Ali, Russia a fellow member of the previous enemy alliance the Shanghai Pact, So it would be right to assume that they may join the KCZ in revenge." Luca says to the empress "Also I feel that we should militarize just in case someone decides to join the wrong alliance"

"Dear mister Jakub... let Russia to us... there is a reason why they have been invited and will come here..." says the Emperor.

President Ali turns from around as he hears another set of planes landing and then watches the Bulgarian and Croatian delegations exit their plane. President Ali exchanges a few quick words with them mainly talking through Ambassador Hu, who was much more accustomed to Slavic tongues. He then turned back to face Luca and continues their conversation.

<Ali> "Militarisation for now is completely acceptable, but it is our opinion that provoking the enemy is not. Even if we militarise it doesn't mean we have to cut relations with any KCZ member completely. The last war, in our opinion anyways, was the result of lack of communication, and negotiation with the opposing alliance. We don't want another war to wreck the world once more."

President Ali turns from around as he hears another set of planes landing and then watches the Bulgarian and Croatian delegations exit their plane. President Ali exchanges a few quick words with them mainly talking through Ambassador Hu, who was much more accustomed to Slavic tongues. "I will be glad to do this" the Empress said, as she began walking towards the planes.

Wiesława saw the Jugoslav Imperial Plane arrive. All of a sudden, she saw her boyfriend, the Jugoslav Prince Miloš, coming down from that airplane, with the rest of the delegation.

She asked her father the possibility to welcome the Jugoslav Imperial Delegation, and, as she received it, she went on towards the plane. She was dressed in her military uniform*, with her hardened Rogatyvka on her head. Her long, platinum blonde hair were dressed up in a quite long braid, and her deep blue eyes were like two abysses where everybody could have fallen.

She moved forward to the plane, and, as she arrived, she gave the salute to the people descending from it.
