Tv Tropes and Nationstates

So, turns out Nationstates has a TV Tropes page.

Huh, I didn't even know what TV Tropes was until I clicked the link, and even then, I didn't know NationStates had one.
I don't acknowledge the existence of genders and I'm pro death on abortion. All babies must die (sc).

Oh yeah, it's only new to me. The nationstates TV Tropes page that is, not TV Tropes. I've spent more hours on that site than this one. I'm "Asklepios" on there, as I am on most of the internet except here.

I've just added a Leaning On The Fourth Wall example. I'd encourage any and all to throw in any other tropes they can think of.

Nightkill had a lot to do with it, might not be around anymore, in fact a lot of the names going in my head right now about the TV Tropes page are people most of y'all may not have been here long enough to remember, but it's been a while since I checked it. However I'm sure you'll find some names like who? :p

I knew about the NS Tropes page for awhile now, but couldn't really be motivated enough to make any edits myself. ^^; Probably doesn't help that the organization of it is a bit wonky, trying to separate out the tropes that apply to specific subsections of the site. With how many daily issues there are now, that alone could probably have a decently sized tropes page!

We also have an urban dictionary entry. An entry which shows that the site has a long history of people getting butthurt when they get banned for breaking the rules.

Eh, if I had the chance to change the Earth, I wouldn't do it due to being too lazy. So I guess we are sort of the same in the changing department.

I might need to dig through the archives of Jolt era NS RPs and add a few things to the page... I do seem to remember times of Grey Goo incidents and a few other tropes that could fit.

Those last entries on the first page... Makes me remember a time when I RPed here.

Of course we when it comes to bitching there's also a NS page to another online encyclopedia which we have a no linking rule with and last I heard it was also mostly trolls also complaining about the mods.

Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.
