There are some in this world with magic. This is the story of those with magic.

Imagine a world without Harry Potter, without Fablehaven, without Percy Jackson, a world where magic was shunned and feared. Now, imagine that world is Earth, now, in this moment, around you. Now imagine that you are one of the few with magic. Imagine that your friends, if you have any, fear you. Your parents don't act like parents to you. The government is after you merely because you possess an abnormality. You are living in a perpetual witch trial. This is the world you are in.

Welcome to Magicide

Perhaps now you want to leave this world, but wait! There is a hope. Imagine, in the Magicidal-Earth, that there is a city named Chicago in the United States of America. In the outskirts of this city, where there are still trees, there is a small coffee and clockwork shop. Inside this coffee and clockwork shop, there is a man who, like you, possesses magical abilities and is open to help you live in this world. Still interested? Continue.

This is not entirely my own idea, but mostly inspired from this beautiful RP here that has passed on.

There is also inspiration from Tokyo Ghoul, and amazing manga/anime series. I highly recommend you read/watch it.

- Operators - Operators, often called Ops, are the cutting edge of the anti-magical force. They wield a wide variety of weapons, and their most deadly, is their magical sensor. It is possible for a magical to escape detection by this sensor, but only if they deliberately suppress their magic. Almost in conjunction with the magic sensor, they have a set of magic cuffs that will weaken a mage's magic to the point of nonexistance. Not only do the Operators have weapons, but they are also very smart and strategic. Underestimating one would be the last thing you do.

- Magicals - The magicals are those with magic powers. They are hated and feared by the un-magical majority, and thus, they seek refuge in safe holds, like the cafe. There is at least one safe hold in each major city for magicals to gather and feel safe.

- Muggle - Also called human, these make up the non-magical majority. They typically fear what the magicals can do, and they fear retaliation from the magicals for their oppression. It is said that even the police would team up with a murderer to catch a magical.

Biography: I was born January 1, 2002.I have three siblings two sisters, and one brother.One called Doopie the other one called Andie and don't have much knowledge about my brother.My childhood memories are sparsely spread throughout the universe and different dimensions.At the age of 12, I moved back with my sister Doopie on planet Earth and stayed there.People think I am mentally insane and unstable.I discovered my powers at age 5 when I went on a trip by myself and got lost.When I got lost two dragons found me one fire the other ice and debated over who would keep me.In the end, they both decided that I would die either way so they both gave me a scar on my back and breathed fire and ice into my nostrils which gave me my fire and ice powers.I was born with the ability to manipulate sound.*If more info required just tell me*

Personality: Happy and eager for almost anything, but if provoked, he is an unstoppable force of nature.

Abilities: Can command technology, metal, and electricity. Can move things such as clockwork to cars.
Do they do anything outside magical world like school, work, something?: He's the owner of Coffee and Clockwork, a small shop in Chicago. As such, he can make various coffees, and fix watches, clocks, and anything with a spring.
Biography: Born to a young couple in the heart of Chicago, Matthew was the only magical in his family. His toddler years were the same as any other child's. He ate, he cried, he lived. When he was 12, in the summer, he found a toy car buried in the ground one day. Of course, he dug it up, and like most children, played with it. It glowed a blue light when he touched it, and he found he could move the wheels at will. Enamored with the tiny toy, he played with it (and unknowingly, his powers,) the entire day, finally remembering to come home for dinner. He showed his parents his new toy, and they were mortified. Matthew didn't know why, but since then, they stayed distant from him. Physically, and emotionally. They only came in physical contact with him if it were absolutely necessary, and even then, it seemed they didn't love him anymore. Eventually, his parents sent Matthew to live with his uncle. Driven away from his parents, Matthew turned to the only thing he had left. His magic... And the coffee shop his uncle owned. He practiced in secret in his room, starting with simple things like moving a car. This expanded into flipping the light switch, making needles, spheres, rectangles, more precise shapes. Then, he found out he could create and control electricity. This expanded from being able to charge an LED, to a lightbuib. When Matthew was 15, he had full mastery in metal and tech magic, and was still developing electricity, but when he was 16, he was able to use his magics together to do some pretty crazy things, including taking over the coffee shop. is uncle retired, so it was totally up to Matthew to run and supply the small building. Occasionally, he met a few magicals, but not enough to call Coffee and Clockwork a safehouse. One particular night, he was was listening to a live news report about a raid on a safehouse. Something clicked inside him. They can't kill us anymore. Enter Wendy.

Gender: Female
Appearance:
Personality: Very much like her "father". Rainbows and sunshine, until something threatens her.
Sexual orientation: Straight (Not sure if that's the word, but she likes guys)
Abilities: Wendy gets all her powers from music, and thus, she's listening to music practically everywhere she is. When she's playing a song, she can match her speed to the rhythm of the song, leading to some blindly fast attacks. For example, if she's listening to "Titanium", then her skin will become as hard as titanium, and she will be able to attacks as fast as the rhythm. However, this effect only lasts as long as the song, so she'll only be able to last a few minutes at most with any music-given ability.
Do they do anything outside magical world like school, work, something?: Cashier/waiter/cook-ess? at the Coffee and Clockwork shop. She wants to start her own music studio, but she doesn't have enough money.
Biography: Wendy's point of view: All her life, Wendy has grown up with Matthew. He was the ideal parent. Patient, but firm. He ran a nice cafe, which Wendy soon joined in on. First, it was simple stuff, like getting the coffee, but later, it seemed she ran the place more than he did. He also knew about her magic, and he taught her how to use it. Obviously, there were inspections, but Matthew always took care of everything, and he's the reason Wendy is alive now.
Matthew's point of view: It was another long day, and Matthew was cleaning up all the dishes, getting ready to head to bed, when a surprising news report suddenly showed up. There was an active raid into an apartment complex that was a suspected stronghold. What if there's survivors? he thought to himself as he headed out. I'm gonna bring them back alive. By the time Matthew got there, there was only a crying woman. In her hands, she clutched a small bundle. When Matthew drew close, he realized it was a child. The woman turned to Matthew, and shoved to him the child. "Please... Take her... Her name is Wendy." That was 13 years ago.

Personality: Irisviel is a bit multi-faced. On one side in the passive, easy-going girl who is more like a young child than a young woman. She's usually a bit scatterbrained until she's determined on something, at which point she starts hunting it relentlessly, while keeping up a cheerful demeanour. When she gets really mad, though, she starts throwing a childish tantrum. Despite this quirks, she is also a caring mother for her 8 year old daughter, Emisviel. WHen talking to strangers, she is quite formal. She's pretty respectful of retail employees and strangers,to the point she takes off her IPod before she goes into a bookstore so as not to offend the employees.
Sexual orientation: Heterosexual
Abilities: Has a squad of Anti-Magical combat robots at her disposal during Operations. Aside from those, Irisviel has the use of a handgun.
Do they do anything outside magical world like school, work, something?: When she's off work, Irisviel is taking care of Emisviel. Usually, she takes her on walks around Chicago and, once a week, takes Emi (Iri's affectionate nickname for her daughter) into a certain cafe for a meal.

Extra notes: Irisviel is either unaware of the Cafe's function as a stronghold, or doesn't care because their food is so good.
She's also very protective of her daughter. Harm her, or threaten to harm her, and you're definitely going to regret it.
