Introduction

The Confederacy of Independent Systems lives on! Before Anakin Skywalker, now the newly dubbed Darth Vader could arrive on Mustafar to finish the Separatist leaders they were able to receive a transmission from an unknown source telling them of the betrayal that was coming. The Council then set the facility to self destruct before leaving, the Separatist Council then went into hiding. Once Darth Vader saw that the facility was destroyed returned to Coruscant. It was here, that Padmé confronted him about the Jedi Temple. He confessed what he did, that he did it for her. She then left, where she met up with Obi-Wan and left with him to Tantive IV. Yoda and Obi-Wan realized that she would be in great danger, as would her children. Now after giving birth to Luke and Leia Skywalker, the children were separated with Luke being raised by Obi-Wan, and Yoda raising Leia.

One year later, the Separatist returned to the galaxy by retaking the planet of Geonosis. With it's factories and resources the Separatists have been able to rebuild their droid armies and have taken back many of the systems that were once lost to them. Now, two years later with much of the outer rim under Separatist control, a new head of state is needed to be elected. Else where, in the Core Worlds and Mid Rim Padmé has been recruiting many systems to join the Alliance to Restore the Republic. With the help of Mon Mothma, and Bail Organa along with a few key Senators many Mid Rim planets and a few Core World planets have risen up in Rebellion against the Empire. The Rebellion hopes to one day restore the Republic, and bring Democracy back to the Galaxy. Currently the Rebel Alliance is led by Padmé Amidala. With help from Obi-Wan and Yoda the Jedi Remnants have been regrouped and are currently led by Yoda, the Jedi Remnants are working alongside the Rebel Alliance.

With many of the key worlds that provided many of the resources for the Deathstar gone, production has been halted for the time being. Instead, in these past two years the Empire has been building new ships, training new troops along with growing new clones. The Empire has to face war from two fronts, but with Darth Vader leading the forces many planets have summit to the Empire.

Now, the Galaxy is divided into three fronts. Will you side with the Rebel Alliance and restore the Republic? Will you fight to see the Confederacy of Independent Systems reach their goal? Or will you crush these rebels and ensure the Galactic Empire dominates the Galaxy? Choose a path, and may the Force be with you.

Gender: Male
Allegiance paid to: CIS

-A super tactical droid (code names: Foresight) who commands his droid forces
Backstory: With Geonosis being safe for the time being with the Empire being pushed back, Poggle The Lesser ordered his Vice President and CIS commander, Poggle The Second, to set about getting the droidwork foundries on geonosis up and running again and ordered him to begin construction of a fleet to guard the planet from further invasions. The stalemate now culminated with the Empire and the hive mind labor of Geonosians allowed for the foundries to be quickly repaired and back to producing battle droids while CIS support allowed the construction of shipyards to commence above Geonosis. In the time so far only one fleet has been pumped out of the Geonosis Shipyard and Poggle the Second now leads it as admiral from his Flagship the "Jewel of Geonosis". He is currently in orbit with this fleet since Poggle the Lesser has returned home to govern.

Name: Anakin Skywalker (formerly; renounced); Darth Vader (currently)
Age: Approx. 30 (give or take a year).
Gender: M.
Allegiance paid to: The Galactic Empire; Supreme Commander of the Imperial Military (second in authority only to the Emperor).
Appearance: Vader.
Personality: The man formerly known as Anakin Skywalker has become a cold, calculating being under the name of Lord Vader. Vader is ruthless, angry and has plenty of hatred for the Jedi, the Separatists and the Rebels. Vader also has absolutely no patience for insubordination, with rumors that failure and such are treated indiscriminately and result in death on the spot.
Force Sensitive: Yes; perhaps one of the, if not the, strongest Force Sensitives in the Galaxy.
Skills/Powers: Force Choke, Telekinesis, Force Rage (enhance his powers by giving into his rage), Force Lightning, other Dark Side abilities; extremely experienced with a Lightsaber.
Weaponry: A single red lightsaber, and the Force itself.
Ship: The Pride of the Core
Biography: Anakin Skywalker was a promising Jedi Knight, and was recorded as being one of the strongest Jedi in the entire Order; second, barely, perhaps to Yoda himself. Upon becoming Darth Vader and receiving his first mission, he obeyed his master's commands and destroyed the Jedi at the Temple on Coruscant; leading an army of Clones to do so. Darth Vader then proceeded to Mustafar, but discovered the base there was destroyed; immediately returning to Coruscant, on the way, Vader informed his master, the now-Emperor Palpatine, of his findings. Suffice it to say Palpatine was not pleased.

Once Vader arrived on Coruscant, he immediately sought out his wife; confessing to her what he did when she confronted him. She ran from him, and Vader grew anger at her for her refusal; for her betrayal. He followed her, but to his shock, she had one final betrayal left for him: she left with Obi-Wan and Yoda, the ultimate traitors of the new Empire, and known Jedi. Vader, at this moment, snapped; giving in to his full hatred and rage. The Dark Side sent what some Jedi called 'shockwaves' out through the Force; the complete and utter fall of the Chosen One causing echoes in the Force itself. Even those merely connected to the Force, but not Force Sensitive (such as Padme) claimed to have felt an... unease. Anything left of Anakin Skywalker had died with this final betrayal. Or so it was thought.

Vader returned to his master; and for his failure, he was greeted with a session of Force Lightning. The lightning left his lungs and vocal chords damaged after the deed was done, requiring Vader to have a respirator installed; in return for this, he gained a new set of modified sith robes and armor from his master, with a built in respirator that was installed into his lungs and mask, as well as a vocodor so his voice would be slightly deep pitched and clear. It was also to ensure his identity was at least somewhat hidden to future Imperial officers, but more importantly, this would allow for Vader to be feared.

Vader himself oversaw the completion of the Pride of the Core, after his master had granted it. Over the next few years, he went on a hunting spree; destroying any Jedi or Separatist leaders that could be found or were within reach. As the Separatists returned, along with the Rebellion arising, Vader was becoming further and further full of a seemingly endless well of rage, hatred and loathing; his master was surprised it was possible to submerse oneself so deeply into the Dark Side. The Emperor told him that this was good.

Upon learning that his former wife, Padme Amidala, led the Rebellion and had handed their children over to the Jedi... well, Vader crushed the informant that had told him of it. Quite literally crushing every bone in the informant's body. Vader now sees that the Jedi are trying to indoctrinate his wife against him forever; his plunging into the Dark Side was his way of ensuring he could become strong enough to rescue his family. He couldn't let the Jedi corrupt them. Vader vowed to crush the Jedi, and especially vowed to ensure Obi-Wan's death, so that he could save Padme from the clutches of the Jedi, along with his family.

Vader is somewhat conflicted; although he has submerged himself deep into the Dark Side, making him quite sadistic and ruthless in general; there is enough left of Anakin, as much as Vader refuses to admit it, that he cannot and will not harm Padme or his children. He has every intention of taking them to be - if not his family - his personal prisoners until the war is over. This way, when the war ends, they can be a family again.
RP Example: Val, come on, man.
Notes: Generally anyone important in Vader's fleet. I may even RP as Vader's fleet in the event of a space battle with the Rebels or Seps. Primarily, though, minor admirals/commanders and such in his fleet. Until someone apps as him or unless you do it, Val, I may also play Sidious on the side, when Vader is receiving orders. Vader's fleet consists of one Mandator I-class Star Dreadnought, a prototype super-star destroyer (called the Pride of the Core); as well as fourteen subordinate Venator II-class Star Destroyers.

On another note, I feel as though suitless Vader makes sense with the base destroyed at Mustafar and with no encounter with lava and no duel with Obi-Wan causing the need for it. This means my Vader can use lightning among other powers, and is far far stronger than any version of a suited Vader could ever dream of being. And he will very likely and perhaps very quickly outpower the Emperor.

Would it be possible to be a former Jedi with allegiance to the CIS?

Based on the OP, most of the Jedi Remnant's joined up with the Rebellion, run by Padme, Yoda, Obi-Wan, Mon Mothma and Bail Organa.

So, assuming you could and the OP says yes, you'd be in the minority... not sure if Grievous is dead but this implies he's dead assuming everything else went according to canon.

mini-edit: if Grievous is not dead, you also have to worry about the General slaughtering your character (or trying to) if they ever meet, despite being on the same "team."

I was assuming more that they would have joined the Confederacy earlier on, pulling a Dooku-style move, the difference being that they actually believed in the Confederate cause.

I agree he would be suitless. Remember that means this Darth Vader's fighting style will be more aggressive and agility based unlike cannon vader who was defensively focused on guarding his center.

From what me and valyeria discussed both grevious and Dooku are dead by the point of convergence from canon lore

I'm really leaning towards a CIS playthrough, either as a possible Grevious or someone else.

But I feel I need to app as a member of the Rebellion in order to balance things out.

So, they joined just-before the Jedi had been exterminated on Coruscant or something? I guess that'd make more sense but I'd say wait to see what OP thinks.

Ah, then yeah, a Jedi among the Separatists rather than hitching with the rest of the Jedi Remnant in the Rebellion makes more sense.

Yes, I know Vader's fighting style will be more aggressive; but considering his force power and such, it ends up with the same result as a suited Vader: if you're in the same room as him and you're a Jedi/Rebel/Separatist, you are very, very likely going to die in the next few moments.

As for the Executor, by 'rushed' I mean it just got finished by IC start, maybe a few months prior to IC-start, which means it has been 3 years, when IIRC the canon Executor took like 4-5. So, "rushed" just means like a year difference. The only flaw is that this version might be slightly smaller or something.

Yes this is fine. Also VOID, gonna have say no to the Executor. It's way too early for that to be completed. In its place you may have The Pride of the Core which I may App to be the Admiral of in place of Piett.

I'll go through apps later tonight.

Grievous two-point-oh...

I could pull a Palpatine, and have him be cloned...

I mean, Dokuu should've had a few of his organs lying about in Grevious's various lairs. If Grevious can have extra arms on him, than for emergencies, he should be able to have a few extra organs.

In fact, I might do that. And Arana, if the OP board is content with using some EU lore, I may have the Jedi for you...

There's a split in the Jedi Remnants. There are those that believe that the Alliance is the best way, and are the majority but there are some that feel the corruption of the Republic led to its downfall and believe setting up a new independent system with a new Jedi Order will work well.

The Rebels and CIS are neutral towards each other. There are some who remember fighting the CIS and don't want to make an alliance but there are those like Padme who wants to ally with the CIS to bring down the Empire. In return they will grant the CIS independence.

I know who to use. How to use her, though...And I can't decide between CIS and Empire. Leaning towards CIS.

...You could be an Imperial Senator with ties to the Rebellion, like Bail Organa and Mon Mothma?
