If he wants to have any chance of getting married or allowing having his children become citizens in the Scandinvan Empire, as citizenship is only awarded to those whose parents are both citizens. Thus he would need to enlist in the auxiliary forces of the Scandinvan Empire if he wishes to be awarded citizenship.
