AFTER AMERICA

The Union has split, the United States is no longer United.
Individual States, Factions and people have fought for nearly two decades to survive and to rebuild.
Do you have what it takes to make it, After America?

The Election

The United States presidential election of 2000 was the 54th quadrennial presidential election. It was held on Tuesday, November 7, 2000. Republican candidate George W. Bush, narrowly defeated the Democratic nominee Al Gore.

This was the closest presidential election in the nation's history, with a .009% margin, or just 537 votes, separating the two candidates in the decisive state, Florida. The narrow margin there triggered a mandatory machine recount the next day, after which Gore requested hand recounts in four counties, including three in populous South Florida, as permitted by law. Litigation ensued in numerous counties in both state and federal courts, ultimately reaching the Florida Supreme Court and the United States Supreme Court. The high court's contentious 5–4 decision in Bush v. Gore, announced on December 12, 2000, ended a statewide recount ordered by the Florida Supreme Court on December 8, effectively awarding Florida's votes to Bush and granting him the Presidency.

After Florida was decided and Gore conceded, Texas Governor George W. Bush became the president-elect and began forming his transition committee. In a speech on December 13, in the Texas House of Representatives chamber, Bush stated he was reaching across party lines to bridge a divided America, saying, "the President of the United States is the President of every single American, of every race, and every background."

On January 29, 2001, just 9 days after the innauguration, rioting broke out, initially in Miami, but then in St. Louis, Cleveland, Kansas City, Los Angeles and more than a dozen other cities.
Over a period of 5 days more than 700 people including 41 police officers were killed and thousands more injured throughout the US.
The Bush presidency would begin with a declaration of mandatory curfews in 17 major cities and a national guard enforced Martial Law in Miami.

The Outbreak.

Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) is a viral respiratory disease of zoonotic origin caused by the SARS coronavirus (SARS-CoV).

In November 2002, an outbreak of SARS in southern China began which eventually spread to 37 countries. The virus was easily contained and treated throughout most of the world, however in North America and especially the Continental US, the outbreak was underestimated by the CDC and in combination with a harsh winter and wet spring, the virus outbreak began a deadly cycle which reached epidemic proportions.
An estimated 58% of the population (approximately 166.8 million) eventually became infected with a 12.8% fatality rate, resulting in over 21 million deaths between winter 2002 and summer 2004.

The End

The Federal Government attempted to maintain control of the nation throughout the tribulations of the early 2000s but after a series of terrorist attacks, riots and economic troubles, a diseased and hurting nation with so many dead and so little trust left, began a period of Infighting and secession which broke what was left of the once great nation.
Leaving many to wonder, what comes, After America?

Now, more than a decade later, many former States have rebuilt. Factions are giving way to governments and alliances.
Civilization is returning...

OOC
The official "End Date" for the Union is July, 1 2006

This RP takes place beginning in 2017 and is currently operating in early 2018 (Winter)

The RP takes place in the cannon world of the region World Conference

All RP cannon of the region World Conference applies for international interactions outside the former Continental USA.

Nations participating in the After America RP must either move their nation to the region World Conference or create a puppet for the RP and move that nation to the region.

Nations participating in the After. America RP are expected to fill out RP/map applications in the region.

Nations participating in the After. America RP are expected to research the natural resources, history, culture, industry, economy, military infrastructure, strengths and especially WEAKNESSES of the state or states that they occupy on the map.

Nations participating in the After America RP are encouraged (but not required) to read through old RP posts pertaining to the states and areas that they occupy, many defunct nations and factions have risen and fallen in the former USA, these posts can be valuable in establishing your own RP.

Have fun, be nice, help us build this world.

Cowpokes and madams, buckaroos and sallys, prepare to be amazed by the wildest show in the west!
I am Buffalo Bill Beneke, your host! At Radio Free Wyoming.

Now I hear a lot of folks these days ask "Bill, why don't ya report any good news?"
Well, I think I do. I give ya'll, our listeners the stories ya need to avoid danger and
ta stay alive out there.
I hope that is good enough pardners, Good news enough...

Its is a mighty weird world out there listeners and readers, stay safe on those dusty
trails, try not to shoot no one who don't deserve it, be strong, be of good character,
God bless the Republic and God bless you.
Now here is the news.

A spike in human trafficking causes concern in Western Wyoming .
WPF officials say that in spite of increased patrols and road blocks, the number
of kidnappings continues to increase.
“During some nights we will see a dozen or more armed raiders on horseback."
"They use darkness as a cover and attack travelers, migrant workers and increasingly,
rural homesteads." "We try to track them down but they move fast and they know that
our trucks wont go too far off road."
Said an unnamed WPF trooper.

No word yet on how the WPF intends to combat this threat as more and more Free
Wyomingites become subjected to forced labor and physical exploitation in
neighboring territories.

My advice, stay off of the roads after dark and sleep with yer loved ones close and
yer shootin irons closest!
Stay safe Wyoming.

One person died and four were seriously injured when two motorcyclists started
a shoot out in remote Judith Basin County on Sunday morning.
It happened near mile marker 64 of Highway 87 near Eddie's Ford's Fuel and Water Depot.
According to WPF Trooper Travis Dorn, two motorcycle riders from whereabouts
unknown were travelling eastbound when they apparently realized that they belonged
to rival gangs.

They abruptly turned off just past Eddie's Depot and began shootin at one another.
One of the motorcyclists hit the other one, causing serious wounds from which he later
died and four locals including Eddie Ford's son Mearl were hit by stray bullets.

The one motorcyclist died at the scene; the other motorcyclist appears to have escaped.
The WPF has released a description of the surviving shooter:

He is a taller than average Caucasian male, skinny as a rail, clean shaved with a square jaw,
white or grey hair, a wrinkled but not too old face and his two front teeth were missin.
He was wearin a denim jacket with an embroidered spider in the back, black leather chaps
with a studded cod piece and an old army helmet with a woman's red haired wig attached to
it.

If you spot this crazy cowpolk, I reckon you should radio your position to the nearest WPF
station and pray. Cause he sounds like one of them mean rustlers out there on the highways
lookin to murder or worse...

Travelers and traders in Wyoming have been complainin that water is gettin scarce on the
roads these days which don't make for an easy trip.

One wagoneer reported that he was forced to carry water enough for him and his draft
animals for three days in order to make the trip to Cheyenne from out west. Coal drivers
have been sayin that they are paying a premium for jugged and bottled water on their
deliveries cause they cant find surface water for their animals to drink.

Well luckily ole' Bill has got you good folks covered. Just look for the yellow flags flyin at
old convenience stores, farm steads and markets. The folks who fly these flags have been
subsidized by the folks with the WPF to provide free water to all draft animals and they
keep a trough ready to be filled upon request by anyone needin it.

Now this water may not be so good for you to drink, infact a lot of it is perdy fetted but
it will hydrate them horses and keep that cattle mooing.

And on a side note, if ya happen to be traveling down Highway 87, stop in at Eddie's Ford's
Fuel and Water Depot, he could sure use yer business.

Setting a rabbit snare is a quick, easy and inexpensive way to snatch a meal.
Whether you're experiencing rabbit damage around your homestead and garden
or you're in a survival situation and need food, most people don't have access to
a foothold or conibear trap.
However, most of yall do have some old wire, string, shoe laces or somethin similar
that can be used to build a snare.

The preferred material is between 20 gauge and 24 gauge copper, brass or stainless
steel wire.
To begin, cut the wire to a length of about 21 inches, you can pretty much just guess
the correct size and measurin aint necessary.
You can use a pair of pliers to cut the wire but if yer out in the badlands and don't have
pliers you can just bend the wire back and fourth until the wire breaks.

Now yake one end and make a small loop. It's important to wrap the wire about 3 or 4
times to be sure the loop won't fail when the rabbit tries to get free.
Now, take the other end of the wire and thread it though the loop you just made.
This'll make a larger loop about the size of yer fist loop that will catch that rascally rabbit
by the neck and kill em rather than makin em suffer.

Now go look for a highly traveled path or "runway" that. Rabbits are creatures of habit
and they aint too smart so they will typically follow the same path over and over.
A light dusting of snow on the ground makes findin yer runaway a heck of a lot easier.
Once you've found one of these rabbit highways take yerself a branch and stick it in the
ground then wrap the wire around the branch with the loop about 6 inches off the ground.
That's it……you're done! Check the snare early in the morning and at least once every day
depending how hungry ya are to see if ya got yerself a meal and ya might want to set a
bunch of these around to make sure ya catch somethin!

Our old friend The Lone Rider has been spotted again.
This time at an old Wal-Mart outside of Laramie, WY. which has been operating as a refugee
shelter and distribution center for some of them Californian hordes.
And get this, this time, our Lone Rider wasnt alone! He was packin a friend with him.

Seems that a woman was just leavin the distribution center and was puttin her baby
into one of them baby carriages that pulls behind a bicycle and puttin her commodities
into the paniers, when she was attacked by two desperate hombres who hit her over the
head with a piece of pipe while she wasnt lookin!

An unarmed bystander who was traveling with the Lone Rider was shot multiple times
by one of these rustlers, but our friend the Lone Rider saw what had happened, got off
of his motorcycle and shot one of the attackers dead on the spot.
The second attacker tried to run off but the Lone Rider shot at him, they traded fire for
a minute but in the end... That no good pipe beatin hombre was dead...

The Lone Rider's friend was treated on the scene by the shelter's medic and was reportedly
able to ride off into the sunset with our hero.
The victim was released by WPF medical staff and the child was not injured.

Witnesses described the Lone Rider as wearing his signature yellow leather racing jacket
with white stripes down the sleeves and having jet black hair, slicked to the nines with a
mean sort of look in his eyes and packing a long shiny .44 magnum revolver.
Well that's our guy alright! The Lone Rider strikes again and thank God he did...

Lets all take a moment to pray that this young woman, her baby and the Lone Rider's
companion are all alright tonight and to be thankful that there are still guys like him out
there wherever the good folks from the WPF cant be.

When visitors arrive at the Trailside Camp the first thing they see is an authentic totem pole.

The pole was acquired by the camp’s founder, L.L. Riley in the 1930s, on a trip down the Trailside Creek during it's summer swell where he encountered the local native tribes and was befriended by them.

“The Thunderbird is supposed to control the rain, thunder and lightning,” said Scout leader Trip Williams.
However, the totem pole’s effectiveness was called into question on a recent Thursday night when a storm sent the young Scouts scrambling to a shelter.
The next day, a few yards from the pole, Pamela Yazzie and her son, Garrett Yazzie, 10, of Juneau, Alaska were drying out their tent when they spoke to reporters.
“We had to sleep in the shelter. It was kind of scary,” Garrett said. “It’s kind of fun here. We are climbing a rock wall, riding BMX bikes, and there’s a pool.”
His mother, Pamela added "there is a lot here for children, including classes on our heritage and culture."

The Honourable Judith Guichon, Prime Minister of West Puget will be on hand for the camp's grand reopening.

A baseball diamond, soccer field and shooting gallery will be available at the camp.
Trailside Scouts at the camp will learn how to camp, cook, shoot, climb a rock wall, ride a BMX bike, fish and use wilderness first aid and survival techniques.

“The camp was used almost every weekend of the year,” Trip Williams said. “That was before the collapse,” "but now with our economy improving we are able to start accepting campers again and we expect the facility to attract more than 300 campers on weekends."

Military Arrests Traitors to the State

Image
Muslim prisoners, arrested just earlier that day, are escorted to their cells

Johnny Meadows,
True Canadian Media, Official Broadcast

Today marks the first wave of arrests in our true Canada, in direct correlation with the new legislation passed by our glorious government. We, the few free men of Canada, have struck back against the radicalized traitors to the Pratum Status. We alone strike against the anarchy that has enveloped our world, and we alone seek to emblazon traditional Christian ideals of freedom, liberty, order, and goodwill all across Canada and into the former United States.

Around 3,000 muslims, communists, socialists, and many other rebels and terrorists were rounded up and brought to staging areas, without compensation or apology. Children of these beasts under the age of 14 were spared imprisonment, as they had no say in their treatment and upbringing. We are a compassionate people, and are at this very moment trying to save these wounded souls in our education centres across the country.

Our leader, General Duncan Carper, has this to say about the wave of lawful arrests --

We cannot allow these people to ruin our new country as they ruined the old world. They don't want to work, they don't want to conform to our societal standards. I say, if they don't love the Pratum Status, then they can get the hell out!

General Carper has also denied claims that his regime is suppressing free speech and forming a, quote, 'Military Junta'. Who could be foolish enough to mistake our new society, a firm and honourable one, for some sort of dictatorship! This reporter thinks they are just a bit jealous that raiders and bikers are breaking down their door each night and taking food from their children's mouths! These freakin' communists wouldn't know a good way of running things if it hit them in the bloody face!

I agree with Carper! Send 'em all back to where they came from, hear hear!

Huey's fly over west Virginia and North Carolina and small military checkpoints are established. Manned by those conscripted from small towns and villages, armed with various firearms both homemade and Pre American weapons.

A weak radio signal stretching 3 miles outwards emits from these checkpoints, broadcasting some American propaganda.

After tuning into any of them you can hear a faint broadcast, as you begin to get closer to the outposts the signal becomes stronger.

*Hail to the chief begins to play*
"My fellow Americans, today is a grand day. We have conquered our lands straight from our bunkers and head into a new America! Follow the signal and approach any of our outposts for recruitment. Only you can liberate this country! God bless America!"

The broadcast loops every few minutes.

Howdy Wyomingites!
This is Buffalo Bill Beneke, and you have been listening to Radio Free Wyoming!
In case you forgot it!

Got lots of stuff goin' round in the WPF these days folks and boy howdy do we
have a guest in with lots to say about it!

Bill Beneke:
My guest tonight is Reverend Palmer
Ross, author of the popular 'God's
March' series and host over at Legend
Broadcast. His new book --Faith, and
loosing it-- is currently available
for purchase all across the Republic.

Thanks for being with us, Reverend.
Let us hop right in, who's losin faith
and why?
Reverend Ross:
Well, let me start this way, Bill.
With these slavers and raiders at
our gates and people everywhere
living in fear, it seems that
everyone could use a little more
faith right now... Besides,
what has all of that science from
the old world done for you lately?
Bill Beneke:
Besides letting me broadcast this
program here on RFW?
Reverend Ross:
Besides that. Or better, I'll give
you that, but tell me this: Are
you happier? Are we happier? Is
our world fundamentally a better
place?
Bill Beneke:
Well I reckon that it hasn't left
me much better off, but then it weren't
science or religion neither that let
ole Bill and this world down.

But Poliiiii -- ticians.
Reverend Ross:
Oh certainty politics can be an evil
pursuit. full of sinful pride and
temptations, but my book is not to
cast an eye of disparagement on the
past failings of leaders, but to set
us forth on the righteous path, one
free from the evils of scientific
advancement.
Bill Beneke:
Well now that reminds me Rev' I heard
somethin the other day, ain't it so that
you are runnin for the office of
representative round these parts?
Reverend Ross:
Why yes I am Bill.
Bill Beneke:
I suppose then that a man of yer...
Faith... Wouldnt fall prey to such
temptations and evil pursuits then?
Reverend Ross:
Oh Bill, with my Faith... Pride couldn't
corrupt and greed could not prevail...
Bill Beneke:
Which is why you personally take only 20%
of the profits from your church and radio
station revenue, right Reverend?
Reverend Ross:
Exactly Bill... A man only needs so much
in these lean times...
Bill Beneke:
Well that is sure a lot to think of Rev.
*chuckles*
That is all the time we have for now,
don't forget to get out there and vote
for the Reverend or whoever on January
second.
This has been yer host, Buffalo Bill
Beneke, RFW rrrrrrrrradio news!

The WPF First Division is marching this week home to Laramie for winter quarters where they will begin winter training and get some much needed rest for the months ahead.
Word is that the WPF intends to review performance and that a number of fourth year riflemen will be retiring from the militia to be replaced with fresh troops.

Among their stated objectives are ski training as well as their annual marksmanship competition which will be held in January.
Brigadier Martin Lewis had this to say;
"We have a lot of fine young men and boys coming out of the scout program who are eager to serve and we don't want to keep too many of these fathers away from their families for too much longer."

So it sounds like a lot of you ladies will be gettin yet husbands back in the spring, i suggest ya start planning those plantin dances now cause there is a lot of catchin up ta do.

In the mean time, lets all keep those boys in our thoughts and prayers and remember, the WPF is still buyin up those old Chevrolet fleetside pickups and Blazers if ya have one around, even if it ain't runnin, they could use em for parts and whatnot.
Lets keep them boys in their trucks and off their feet this winter, do yer part.

A lot of ya write me and ya say "Bill, I love the magazine but I just cant get ya on my radio set." Well, no matter what set ya got, a good antenna is the key to pickin up yer favorite broadcasts so here I have some advice on makin yer first homemade antenna.
Now ole' Bill knows a thing or three bout antennas, radios and the like and I could gab on bout "low impedance feeds" "radiating resonance" and "half-wavelengths" but you don't need to understand all that for an antenna ta work, ya just got ta build the thing and hook it ta yer set!

Now we are gonna talk about what is called a Di-Pole Antenna and a dipole is easy ta construct cause its only got two poles, hence DI-POLE... Now ta get the most out of this, yer gonna want ta get yerself a piece of old cable wire out of a house or off of a pole about one hundred and fourty three feet long, why one four three? Well thats complicated but lets just say that is the best length – now it is best ta cut the wire slightly longer than this and then twist the end of the wire back on itself ta get as close as ya can ta that one four three. Now take yer length of wire, fold it exactly in half and cut er in tha middle.
Now strip the wire back on one end and wrap it around an old bicycle tire, this is yer insulator, climb a tree or somethin kinda tall and nail or tie the bicycle tore to it, makin sure that the wire don't touch nothin but the tire.
Now drill ya three holes in a piece of copper pipe a couple inches long and strip the wire back on tha other end of yer first wire and on the end of the second length of wire and tightly connect them to the two holes farthest apart on the pipe and connect a piece of telephone wire or speaker wire or any old wire to the hole in the center, run this here feeder wire to yer radio set and either connect it ta the antenna port or just strip the end back and wrap it around yer existing antenna...
Finally ya are gonna take yer second longwire and and find ya somethin else, a pole or another tree or yer house, anything the same height as tha first tire insulator but its got to be about one hundred fifty feet away, tie ya another bicycle tube ta the end of that and nail it up somewhere good and tight.

Thats it folks, just three wires strung up like the letter T and not touchin nothin but yer radio set.
Happy listenin folks!

Survivin in the cold can be a rough venture under the best conditions and lets face it folks, most of us don't live under the best conditions these days. So in addition to makin sure ya got a good stock of coal and some warm blankets, here is some advice on keepin alive out there when the snow starts to fall.

First, yer gonna want to dress in layers, this is the best way to regulate yer body temperature while bein out in tha cold. Multiple layers are better than one thick layer cause they trap air between them. This air is then warmed by your body and acts as an insulator against the cold. Startn off with a light layer ta keep sweat away from your skin and buildn up from there about three to five layers dependin on the weather. The outer most layer ought to be somethin to keep tha wind and water off ya, a good parka is nice but if ya dont have one, stitch up a poncho from an old shower curtain or some plastic bags, it might not b too stylish but its gonna keep ya dry.
Just remember ta take off layers if ya get too warm, its better to be just a little chilly than to start ta sweatin and soak yer clothes from the inside out.
Cover yer head up to keep tha heat in. Yer like a chimney and all the heat is gonna get lost out the top if ya dont keep it in with a hood or hat. Also this is the easiest layer to remove if you find yourself getting hot.

Now yer gonna want to keep a fire goin whether yer indoors or out and yer gonna want ta keep some water hot too cause if ya start ta loose heat then a drink of warm water will put some heat back in ya without yer body havin ta make it itself and that is gonna keep ya alive. So inside I want ya to keep a couple of cans of water set up by the fire or on the stove, keep em full and melt snow in em if yer well head freezes up but never eat the snow cause it will do the opposite and make yer body work harder ta warm you up. And outdoors, yer gonna want to have a barrel or can that ya can toss some garbage or wood or coal inta and light up whenever ya have to be outside doin any work, this is so ya can warm yerself up by it but also so ya can keep some cans of water hot by it too.

Now I know fuel is expensive and we dont all have a bunch of coal backs laying around to keep the heating bill paid so my final tip is on how ta conserve fuel when cooking in the winter. Get yerself a big box, big enough to fit yer biggest, heaviest stew pot into. Now pack the inside of that box with old clothes, straw, grass, rags or what have ya for insulation and leave just enough room in the middle for the pot, now when ya want to make yer stew, start it in the mornin and get it real hot and boilin hard, then take it off the fire and set it in that box and cap it off with a big old quilt or blanket all folded up. This is gonna hold that heat in and work like one of those old crock pots, it will cook for hours in there, nice and slow til supper time without needin no more fire.

So I hope that these tips help ta keep some of ya'll alive or atleast more comfortable this winter.
And when all else fails, snuggle up with yer loved ones and stay in doors.

The announcement this week by the WPF that it will begin to form new all-volunteer units primarily of rifle squads is an indication that they are planning an offensive in the west against the slavers who have been growing increasingly bold.

"The WPF is bolstering manpower," said WPF Brigadier Fredrick Leekey, who (in addition to his command duties) closely observes the intelligence and dynamics of the western front. "We may need additional reinforcements on a new front, particularly in the west."

The new volunteers "will train to fight alongside other military units as a supplemental force, there will be career opportunities available to them but once these new objectives are complete, the majority will get to choose whether they wish to enlist permanently to replace [retiring] individuals or if they wish to be placed on reserve status and return to their lives"

The Brigadier says that the decision was made to ask citizens to join "in response to the rapid development of events, to support the successes of armed forces, and to meet people's wishes to put an end to the slaving and kidnapping in the west."

The unit, to be known as "The Western Attack Corps of Volunteers" or WACoV Troops, will consist of men and women over age 16 who are "not already eligible for military service" the Brigadier said.

Well, if'n yer in a fightin mood or if those slavers have already taken someone ya know, I suggest you join on up and take the fight to those filthy varmints cause I dont figure on this lastin too long once Brigadier Leekey gets his new troops.

Politicians in F.E. Warren have announced that they are sending a special envoy to the government of Kansas Separatists by way of Nebraska in an attempt to bolster support among the central American Nations.
This news comes following Kansas announcement of a pharmaceutical shortages.

The Kansas Separatists have long been opposed to the WPF Policy of allowing emancipated teenagers to join military units, however it is the hope of Wyoming's leaders that the Separatist government can see past their personal feelings to establish meaningful trade which would benefit both of our nation's.

While en-rout, The WPF envoy will seek to make contact with entities in Nebraska and establish shipping routs.

On top of a National Guard armory in mid Virginia a suited man stands, addressing dozens of conscripts standing in rows. He begins to speak from a megaphone.
"You are joined with me today because we MUST secure a future. A future for the US OF A! As we speak now the white house is occupied by Looters, bandits, or any enemy of that kind. We can not, WILL NOT, allow our enemies to secure a foothold in one of the most important buildings in the United States. Today Gentlemen, we retake the whitehouse! We will never fail, and I promise that, if my name isn't John Henry Eden"
*With that the conscripts assemble, entering various police and military vehicles, they begin to advance towards the District of Columbia.*

Ox and Scuzz left the city of Aneth that morning with much heavier packs than they came with.

Aneth had been one of the last settlements on the Utah side of Buzzards territory and they had been putting off raiding it until winter set in.

Now seemed as good a time as any they thought and so about 40 cars of Buzzards hit the town hard at night.
The locals put up a bit of a fight.
Ox and Scuzz lost their car to the cops or whatever they were calling themselves but in the end the town was theirs.

Someone shot up the water tower and about a dozen trucks were sitting beneath it with buckets, hugs, barrels, even a few bathtubs ripped out of houses to catch the water as it spewed out.

Screams could be heard from a few houses as they walked down the street and there was some gunfire coming from town hall but it didn't matter.
Most of the people had taken what they could carry and fled north.

"Burn it down!" Someone yelled as they passed by a church where several parishoners had held up. "You hear them in there" cried another Buzzard, "if you don't come out right now we are going to torch this place and you in it!"

Ox looked at Scuzz who was rifling through his pack looking for a bottle of pills he had found. "Not our problem Ox" Scuzz said to his friend.
"Let's go check some more garages and hotwire us a a new ride"

"The District of Columbia is ours!" yells a conscript staff sergeant as he plants the FAF flag on the lawn of the white house.

Conscripts roam the streets, finding civilians and rounding them up at the front of the white house.

Several boxes from trucks are removed as a moderately sized projector screen is deployed in front of a projector. 2 small speakers are hooked up at either side of the screen. The staff sergeant begins to play a recording for the survivors.

*The FAF flag covers a wall, suddenly a suited man comes into view.*
"Hello my fellow Americans, today is a monumental day. We have retaken the whitehouse and next on our list is the Pentagon! It is up to you, and you only, to choose to join us or not. We offer safety, and order, and you and your families will be protected under the shield of the Free American Forces! We are your government, here to stabilise these Anarchistic lands. God bless America!"

*The survivors begin to line up at a foldable table and begin to sign various papers handed out. Turning them into the staff sergeant. Who smiles and hands them specialist to his side. He pulls out a satellite phone and begins to speak to someone.*

"The whitehouse is secure, full turnout in recruitment, it seems the promise of food, water, and shelter is appealing."

"Of course it is, may I remind you sergeant that these people have lived in disorder for the past few years, at the mercy of bandits, raiders and other scum. Anyways, project liberation will soon be in full play, we advance on the Pentagon and retrieve our documents."

"Excellent sir, god bless America"

"God bless America indeed"

BANGOR, ME

President Richards was standing in the hotel room he had been staying in for the past forty-eight hours. He hadn't gotten a wink of sleep since he and the President arrived in Bangor for a Socialist Party rally. The memory of the National Police rushing into the banquet hall where Richards had been speaking and pulling him offstage kept running through his head, like it was on a broken record. That was the moment his life would change forever, that was when he heard for the first time that President Saunders had been shot during his motorcade through downtown Bangor. He was taken back to the hotel, and where he stands now, not twenty-four hours before, he had been told that President Saunders was dead, and that he would now be responsible for leading Milinoca.
When the United States was breaking up, Phillip Saunders was a state senator for the small town of Wareham in Massachusetts. He loved his town, his state and his country, but he also had a strong distrust of the federal government. When George Bush was handed the presidency in late 2000, Saunders was heard to say "I promise you that this country won't last five more years." According to Saunders' friends, he had never wished he was wrong more when the riots started breaking out. Then the announcements of secession. Then the wars.

He believed that, without a strong leader, his home would not survive. As the Massachusetts government struggled to stay afloat, with seperatist protests ravaging Boston, Fall River, and Worcester, Saunders took it upon himself to make sure that his state would not succumb to anarchy. In late 2001, Lt. Governor Kerry Healy died, and the state legislature voted Saunders as his replacement. Two months later, Governor Mitt Romney resigned, unable to cope with the pressure of running what he saw as a "nation-state in the making." Saunders quickly used public opinion to his advantage, and gradually delegitimized the commonwealth's government, replacing with that of the Independent State of Massachusetts. On Patriot's Day, 2002, the new government was proclaimed. In the summer of 2002, delegates from New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, and Connecticut met to discuss the future of New England. From this meeting, Milinoca was born. The following months were spent drawing up the new constitution for this new state, and on October 1, 2002, the Republic of Milinoca was officially formed, with Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island and Connecticut as its members. Shortly thereafter, Vermont joined as well.

In March 2003, elections were held and Saunders one in a landslide. In his first six year term, Saunders worked to get Milinoca recognized as a legitimate state at all costs. By the 2009 elections, he had managed to win his fledgling state a seat in the United Nations. He also worked to "nation-build" in a sense, attempting to legitimize the new Republic in the eyes of Milinoquens, many of whom were still in shock of the United States' breakup by the time of Saunders' inauguration in June 2003. He also attempted to prevent the bipartisanship that had contributed to the collapse of the United States. He remained an independent, and, to his glee, a multitude of political parties formed in the new nation. During the 2009 election, he ran with the newly formed Conservative Party, with his opponents coming from parties such as the Socialists, the Liberals, the Greens, the Libertarians, the Nationalists, the Loyalists, and so on. His main competitors were the Loyalists, whom he feared would dissolve his brainchild state and rejoin the US. Again, to his glee, the Loyalists were unexpectedly destroyed in the general election. Saunders' Conservatives didn't win a landslide though, and had to form a coalition with the far-right Nationalists and the more centrist Libertarians.

During his second term, he managed to maintain peace between his nation and the surrounding breakaway states, and oversaw the forming of trade deals with them. In his second term, he also approved more defense spending, to protect the nation's western border against a potential federal invasion. What eventually became a major thorn in his side during the 2014 campaign was his misuse of troops to stamp out far-left groups in the White Mountains in late 2010.

In 2017, Milinoca is prospering at a height not seen since the breakup of the United States. But now, the nation has lost its George Washington, and newly-inaugurated President Richards is unsure of his country's future.

Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida Republic
President John L. Freeman

Fifteen years. It had been fifteen years since the United States caved in on it self and collapsed, dividing the states and pulling the world behind it into crisis. In that time, a lot had changed; the states reformed and rebuilt from the ashes of the Union - Republics, Unions, and even Dictatorships rose to power in the states - that, or any semblance of a standing government collapsed, and the people had to stand for themselves. It was a madhouse. Florida, though, being one of the more economically well states and one with a large, mostly unified population, persevered in the aftermath of collapse, in turn creating a new, better Republic than the puzzle-like one it itself was only a piece of.

John L. Freeman was the third and current acting president of the Florida Republic, following its formation in October 9th, 2002, and he made sure to do his job right. His predecessor, George P. Wilson, left office after only five years and two unresolved crises, which the acting president, his cabinet, the Florida congress and the entirety of the state had to resolve - namely, the border conflict between Florida and the former states of Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi, which saw a slight northern and western expansion of Florida's territory in Wilson's time, and a constant, but small shift of lines throughout Freeman's years - and the rising tensions between them and the Cubano-Haitian Federation, which was further fueled by the annexation of Puerto Rico and the rising internal conflicts between Republic-side Hispanics of Caribbean heritage and other ethnic groups.

Freeman was somewhat of an enigma in the Republic - he was firstly the first multi-racial president of Florida, to a Seminole mother and a black father - this feat was rather lackluster, as he was only the third president elected to office, but he was assumed to be the most qualified by both the people and the government - his charismatic nature and moderate views were more than helpful in this respect. He was incredibly in favor of reuniting the former USA peacefully, contrarian to the hawkish members of congress and those that wished to maintain Florida as an independent Republic - the latter view being the favored one of the younger congress members who hadn't lived long enough to see the beauty of the United States, like the aging Freeman had. However, Freeman, like many politicians, had his faults - the most glaring, of course, being his partaking in the rampant corruption of government officials.

"Mr. President?" a voice at the table asked, tearing John from his self-reflection. "Hmm... oh, yes, what is it Garcia?" he questioned, looking over to the man. "Your letter to the Cubans?" "Right, right, of course... as I was saying," John cleared his throat and dictated, "'I do regret that, over these few years, our two nations have been at each other's necks, swords in hands and blades crossed, ready to do battle. It is my intention to seek, from hereon, peace between our two peoples, forever and always. My terms, as they have been and shall continue being, are simple - cease your illegal occupation of Puerto Rico immediately, or there will be war..."

Orlando, Orange County, Florida Republic
Will Jackson

Although much was lost in the early years of America's collapse, the passing of fifteen years had seen somewhat of a return to normalcy, at least in Florida's richer areas. For the old, at least, life was as it had always been before, but for the kids and those just coming of age, life had been a wild ride full of fear, insecurity, and hope for a better future. William Jackson, a simple businessman in his late thirties, was among those who felt like life was normal once more. "Yo, Will, you hear about that news?" a familiar, friendly voice called over to Will from inside the store. "No Frank - what happened?" he asked, listening intently to his friend, who came closer to the checkout area. "The gov's finally cutting their restriction on water usage - it's tight, man." "Really? Awesome! My garden'll appreciate it, I'm sure." "Haha, yeah!" Frank put a few items - a chocolate bar, a bottle of soda, and a bag of chips on the counter, which Will gladly rang up. Paying and taking his bag, Frank said, "you have a good one, man!" as he made his leave, and Will replied, "you too, Frank!"

Will saw many familiar faces every day, of every race - White, Black, Hispanic, Native American, Asian - and just about every day, smiles and warm, friendly talk was shared. Will just... had a way of brightening moods. He always cared about things with them, which, he assumed, was why they always came back to his store. Indeed, his optimism was a stark contrast from the harsh, constant reminder of the new world, even if it was already in its fifteenth year.

Conscripts Exit Huey's and M113's outside the pentagon

Dozens of Conscripts approach the Pentagon, patrolling the streets and setting up small checkpoints on streets leading to the pentagon. Sandbags and M60s are deployed, teams of conscripts prepare to breach the Pentagon.

" MOVE IT! MOVE IT! " Shouts a corporal.

Several groups of conscripts breach the Pentagon, breaching and clearing several rooms, damaged by those who entered and defiled the facility. The teams then exit the building, the commanding officer of the operation, a Lieutenant, gives the All clear over a radio.

"Area clear" radios the lieutenant

"Reclamation teams are being deployed" replies a man with a rough, seemingly weathered voice.

"10-4" replies the lieutenant.

Postby King Khan and the Shrines » Sun Jan 08, 2017 10:17 pm

A stretch limo pulls up to a Twin Falls, Idaho night club. The club is quiet compared to most nights as King Khan steps out in a powder blue tuxedo and feathered head dress. He is escorted by no less than a dozen devoted Sikh body guards armed with sub machine guns and knives.
The king enters the Two Rivers club owned and operated by Richie Rivers of the Eddie Squantem Gang and is greeted by Richie Rivers himself who has a couple of trashy dancing girls with him. "Your Majesty!" Richie expounds, "I have been looking forward to our meeting!"
"It is very much my pleasure Mr. Richie, I am happy to be here in Idaho with you tonight." "If you will bring us some pineapple juice for my men and a bottle of chilled Champaign for myself." "We have much to discuss, where is your master, Eddie?"
"Eddie has been detained Mr. King, Sir, he isn't here but I will be able to finalize our work here in his behalf."
"That is most unfortunate that I will not be able to see my main man Eddie but I think we can do our work without him my friend" says the King.

The two men enter the club where a band singing Moon over Miami plays. They sit down and have a drink and begin to talk business, the main item on their list is the new Idaho government.
"It concerns me much that these cats might not be chill to my will" says the King, "oh don't worry about that Mr. King, our holdings here are secure which is why Eddie isn't here, he is keeping things under control somewhere in Boise while I hold the fort here."

The King stays the night and leaves in the morning with the only copies of the Eddie Squantem Gang's financial records and shipping maps, ensuring that any busy would not uncover the whole operation.
By mid afternoon he is safe in the uncontrolled wastes of Utah and by the next night he has dissapeared back to an undisclosed location somewhere in the west.

FAF forces expand into west virginia

Teams of FAF conscripts drive in convoys towards west virginia. In each convoy a Willy's MB Jeep scouting ahead and one at the back along with at least 3 M35 trucks at the back carrying various supplies for construction of checkpoints and the setting up of outposts to maintain radio contact with the main Virginia FAF territories.

A presidential speech could be hear across and radio within the FAFs boundaries with even states just outlying the state picking up the broadcast.

"My fellow American citizens, today is the day we take a bold step further, a step to further secure the safety and prosperity of our people. The 32nd conscript battalion has been deployed under command of Lieutenant Colonel James Miller. Their goal I'd to secure the various national guard stations and recruitment offices along with airbases. Let us take a moment to thank the 1000 brave men and women that have joined in on this mission to explore outwards. Thank you for your time America. This is President Eden, signing off."

Perhaps no other time in America's history is as steeped in myth, legend, and adventure as the pioneering age of the "Wild West." Outlaws, lawmen, cowboys, American Indians, miners, ranchers, and more than a few "ladies of ill repute" emerged in this era.
And boy howdy are there some great stories out there. But ya see folks, we dont have to rely on just them stories to teach us what the wild west was like, heck, most of us are livin it!
We got our own brands of outlaws and lawmen, miners, ranchers and more than a few ladies of ill repute here in the Republic of Wyoming.
But what am I telling you that for listener? You hear it all daily.

Incase you forgot, I'm Bill Beneke and this... is the News.

Early Sunday morning, an armed suspect burst into the home office of a quiet, dusty neighborhood in Riverton.
Hearing the bandit, the resident, 30 year old Mabel Sheridan quickly armed herself with her trusty M1911s that she kept by her side at her home counting house. When the burglar approached, Mabel was waiting for him and shot the suspect twice in the chest and once in the head, killing him darn near instantly.

"I'm not for someone being shot," said Nora Dietz, a concerned neighbor, "but you have to protect yourself."

This is just one in a string of shootings involving "Pistol Packin Mabel" Sheridan who has shot numerous criminals in her home town of Riverton, WY.

The first known incident was a crazed, knife-wielding man attempted to stab people at random in a convenience store parking lot in 2003 when she was just 17 years old. Police said at the time that the crazed man had already chased a delivery driver with his knife and ran down a car leaving the lot. He lunged at the car's driver with the knife, wounding him. That's when little Mabel, whose two young sisters were with her afoot at the time, produced her pistol and fired about six shots, killing the attacker. The driver recovered from his injuries.

"You've got to protect yourself," said Mabel. "I had two kids with me at the time, the road was dangerous and they were terrified."

Mabel runs a counting house from her home and she comes highly recommended by her clients. If yo are ever worried about her security, just remember that Mabel lives there.

Wolves are extremely wary of humans and extremely dangerous if they are hungry or spooked. Wolf attacks are rare but according to some reports, they ar on the rise in the Yellowstone area.
Buffalo ranchers in the north fork area are reporting numerous livestock kills and some ferocious kill sites being found suggesting that large packs are forming in the area.
Now the chances of you seeing wolves in the wild are small but if'n ya do, stay safe by following a few helpful tips.

>Never offer the animals food.
>Stay calm and do not run.
>Stand tall and make yourself appear large.
>Slowly back away and maintain eye contact with the nearest animal.
>Always keep dogs on a leash.
>Never travel alone especially at night.
>Arm yourself.

I had a chance recently to review these habbits with Dr. Duke, former head of wildlife conservation at yellow stone and current junktown jerkey vendor at Casper Junk and Gulp, Casper Junk and Gulp, the best place to trade your junk and grab a drink north side of the Platte River.
The good Dr. had this to say;

"Evidence from a few recent cases of humans being bitten during wild wolf encounters indicates these animals may have been fed by people, thereby losing their natural fear of humans and associating humans with food. In other cases, people may have been injured while trying to break up a fight between their dog and a wolf. That is why it is important to keep dogs on a leash and to NEVER feed these animals. Now that will be $11.50, can I sack these for you?"

So remember folks, stay calm, stand tall, make eye contact, travel with a friend, dont feed the wolves, keep fido on a chain and shoot to kill if'n ya have to... Sounds like good advice everywhere...

Fans are mourning after beloved cultural icon Jon "Johnny Rock" Barney was found dead of apparent suicide in his home near Casper on Sunday.

New details have emerged that his eccentric and happy-go-lucky public persona was masking chronic depression, thrusting mental illness into the public spotlight.

His long time producer and friend Phil Toothaker said in an interview "Johnny was a great guy but he was hurting, we all knew that."
“I don’t wanna be alive…” the chorus of one of Johnny Rock's popular songs began....

Well we had Johnny here on the show once and though his brand of music wasn't our taste, he sure was a nice feller and ole Bill is sorry to hear he's gone.

In response, several politicians are pushing for national laws that would classify suicide, and attempted suicide as murder... An offense punishable by hanging!

Well... If that ain't a sour pickle. So remember folks, don't try and hang yerself here in Wyoming... Or the hangman will come for you!

Well, its happened again folks, this time near Basin as 32 year old Reginald Parks of the McCarthey Fuel Depot was shot and killed by a roughneck hombre who ought to be familiar to my listeners.
The shooter has been described as being a tall thin man with a square jaw and his front teeth missing which sounds darn familiar from the shooting at Eddie's Ford's Fuel and Water Depot a little more than a month ago.

Round about three or five depot personnel were aboard the outbound train at the around 10:30 a.m. after a youngster had reported seeing a shifty character snoopin around the train, i'm guessin they were lookin to run off a hobo but according to old man McCarthy, our fella spotted the depot workers first and fled the train to the upper level of the depot warehouse to avoid them.
As an employee attempted to flush him out, the man jumped him and knocked him to the ground then pulled out a pistol and fired multiple shots at the rest of the attendants.

After the depot workers retreated inside, they began exchanging gunfire with the shooter through a first floor window, striking the man atleast once but not killing him.
The wounded man continued to fire on the depot as he moved towards the train which was beginning to pull out of the station where he climbed aboard a water tank car where Mr. Parks had been working.
Parks, who always packed a pistol, fired on our shooter but missed him, striking the boiler face of the engineer's compartment which caused the engineer to duck quickly, hitting his head on the fire gate and causing one heck of a bruise.
The shooter then drew down on Reginald Parks and fired a single shot into Parks' head, killing him.

The Depot Shooter took Parks' pistol and jumped from the train, using it as cover while he made his way to a pickup truck nearby where he had loaded about a dozen cans with fuel and water.
He drove away unchallenged and is estimated to have stolen about 30 gallons of fuel and as much water.

This hombre is quickly making a name for himself with a string of violent shootings. Let's just hope we dont hear from him anymore folks, stay safe.

The CDIW (Composite Defense Industries of Wyoming) has announced that as of December 30, 2016, the WPF and WPF Training Centers has awarded to The Allied School of Rawlins, WY a contract to provide training ammunition to new recruits as well as other ammunition components to WPF Licensed Cottage Ammunition Producers (LCAPs.) This contract covers a full year of ammunition to be supplied to the new troops up front and the potential for an additional four years in one year increments (the contract is estimated to be worth 10 million Buffalo Bills over the full five years.)

In addition to the standard production of: 7.62x51 NATO/.308 Winchester, 5.56x45 NATO/.223 and 9x19 NATO/9mm Parabellum, the LCAPs will receive specialty components for the production of experimental .308 "reduced recoil" ammunition loaded with a reduced charge of slow-burn-rate rifle powder designed for shorter range shooting under 350 yards as well as a 62 grain armor piercing 5.56 round.

This production and components contract is yet another step by the WPF to further decentralize ammunition production while maintaining military grade quality by disseminating not only components but equipment to the LCAPs.

Folks, its time we talked a little about the first 5 C's of Survival and let me tell you, Ole' Bill never heads out into the boonies without these first 5 C’s on him.

(1) Cutting Tool: Ultimately, this means a sturdy, full-tang survival knife—something that should always be on your person in the backcountry. A design with a four to five-inch carbon-steel blade and a flattened back edge is typically the most dependable and versatile. Well-made survival knives allow you to do everything from clean fish to split kindling.

(2) Combustion: Being able to spark a fire is critical in a survival situation. In inclement weather, it’s the first order of business—fundamental to maintaining your core temperature. Additionally, a blaze can help you advertise your location to potential rescuers. Carry spark-catching material such as the Pathfinder Mini Inferno tinder or Gorilla Tape alongside a ferro rod and a good lighter.

(3) Cover: A common mistake committed by plenty of outdoor recreationists is neglecting to include an emergency shelter in their go-to hiking packs. Even if you’re simply setting out for an afternoon trail hike, you need the ability to quickly erect a precipitation and cold-resistant covering to keep you dry and warm in the event of an unforeseen night out in the backwoods. A poncho, wool blanket, tarp, or even a plastic garbage bag will serve you well.

(4) Container: An ideal container for wilderness use is a 32-oz. stainless-steel water bottle. Staying hydrated is fundamental in an emergency, and you want a durable vessel for storing and carrying water. The high-quality metal additionally allows you to boil water—or melt snow—to render it safe to drink: You don’t want to be dealing with a gastrointestinal malady on top of your other worries.

(5) Cordage: Sure, you can fashion rope from plant materials in the back-country—but why expend that time and effort if you don’t need to? Carry a good 100 feet of 550 cord, which can assist in a dizzying array of tasks.

The Government of West Puget in the former Washington State and British Columbia has cut a deal with the WPF and Peabody Coal for a total 500,000 tons of Wyoming Coal to be shipped by truck to West Puget by private Coal Runners.
In exchange, West Puget will ship an undisclosed volume of field grains to Wyoming via the same independent carriers.

This is just the most recent in a series of trade deals which includes similar actions in Kansas and Montana.

CAMP JOSEPH, North of Yellowstone. – The average daily temperatures at Camp Jiseph, in December span between 10 degrees for the high and dip down to 10 degrees below zero for the low.

For the Commander John G. Corwin and his -Brave Combat Battalion- (BCB) Ground-Based Midcourse Defense Group, these conditions are just another workday.

The BCB has been conducting its go-to-war training mission continuously, 24 hours a day, for over 10 months. As a result, it can be a challenge to send Soldiers, especially new recruits away to complete training or attend schools.

When someone attends a school, has temporary duty elsewhere, or even takes leave, it can impact their mission, says Maj. Rick Rodgers, the BCB operations officer.

Fortunately, the WPF's newest marksmanship course is prepared to meet the challenges.

In early December, a mobile training team from the WPF training grounds in Laramie, WY, specially assembled by Lt. Col. IL Ling New traveled to the remote post and conducted the new Small Arms Weapons Expert (SAWE) course for the soldiers of the BCB.

The Small Arms Weapons Expert course is designed to strengthen marksmanship competency within units from the ground up. Every student is instructed on the fundamental tasks of every small arms system in the WPF arsenal, as well as a number of foreign and improvised weapons systems commonly encountered by the WPF. The course isn't solely focused on shooting the weapons, but gaining a true mastery of each system.

According to Maj. Donnie Most, the officer in charge of the Marksmanship Training Team, the true value of the course lies not in having a highly trained weapons expert, but in the skill level being brought back to the whole unit.

"Through the knowledge and hands-on experience gained in this course, these graduates will be tremendous assets for their units as they improve their unit marksmanship programs," said Most.

Students learn how to train other soldiers in marksmanship, how to maintain the small arms weapons systems and how to plan and operate qualification ranges.

The new SAWE course also adds another aspect not previously taught in advanced marksmanship courses: including night fire and optics and the use of fire and lightning at night to blind the enemy to your position, providing cover for yourself and illuminating targets. Other training topics include evading therman detection and intelligence gathering at night.

The night fire portion of the course is specifically designed to increase lethality, survivability and situational awareness during nighttime hours.

"The mobile training team provides a fantastic opportunity for soldiers to get this valuable training while inflicting minimal impact on our operations mission," said Rogers. "Without the MTT, many of those soldiers would not have been afforded the opportunity to attend."

A spokesman for Lt. Col. IL Ling New's office said that the MTT will be making it's rounds through atleast 5 more battalions in coming months.

INCREASED MILITARY PRESENCE AT WYOMING BORDER
On recent times, our neighbors, the WPF, have trespassed the border without permission several times, to go after claimed slavers hiding in this proud state of ours. Following this, The Light Foot Militia has decided to station three brigades, the 9th, 82nd and 77th, along the Idaho-Wyoming border in order to prevent the WPF from trespassing again. The Light Foot Militia have publicly announced that they will take care of the claimed slavers themselves. More on this later.

BORDER DISPUTE

Members of the FAFs scouting company manage to secure a building formerly used as an ammunition storage for the National Guard. Combat erupts the following days between the FAF conscripts and the scavengers and raiders after they deploy their recruitment beacon.

Fortunately several willing survivors arrive to the compound and the company bolsters their ranks.

The following days would be a test of the FAFs ability to expand further with new opportunities opening up as forces collapsed outside their borders

Blue Mountain, Pennsylvania, American Patriot Republic

Governor Walther Douglass was no pushover, he looked at his militia composed of patriots, survivalists, guns for hire and army deserters. He spoke to them "Men, we all made an oath to protect and defend the constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic. We are patriots, oath-keepers, we defend the constitution and our God given traditions, we are sons of liberty, looking to restore the Republic." the men were enticed by the speech and inspired.

The Governor was self-proclaimed more or less a warlord in reality, but not a man without purpose, he believed in the constitution and did not want America to die, Douglass is a patriot and he knew he needed to become a warlord in order to commence reuniting the country. He picked up his AR-15, holstered he had a Colt 1911 pistol, and put it in his jeep Cherokee.

Where he drove to another part of the camp, to meet with his top engineer Colonel Gavin Sparks, "Governor, I have produced your master piece, the finest in our M113 High-technology, I have had my men modify at least 10 of our M113s for this new anti-tank role"

Douglass said "Brilliant!" as he observed the M113 STUG variant refitted and reconfigured in a mere barn, true battlefield ingenuity.

He laughed and then walked into the next building which contained his office and a HAM Radio where he would broadcast his messages "This is Free American Radio, with Governor Douglass, I am here to tell all those listening, those who feel abandoned by America, and our Constitution that we have not left, America as always survives and thrives, our treads are heading to crush the enemies of our liberty! I warn those traitors, commies, and criminals a force is ready to move through and reunite the country!"

The FAF metropolitan police force

Almost 2 dozen police officers clad in riot gear with batons and SMGs like the MP5K, MP7, or the Tec-9.

They begin to approach the crowd that had entered the city's industrial area, breaking windows and beating passerby, their numbers totalling at around 40 to 50.

An officer stands at the front shouting to the group

"LAY DOWN YOUR ARMS AND NO ONE WILL BE HURT!"

"KILL THOSE PIGS!" Yells one of the protestors.

The group charges the police, a majority of them armed with melee weaponry such as rebar or homemade blades. A handful stay at the back, withdrawing pistols and shooting at the officers.

The group of officers begin to fire into the crowd while other officers with batons beat the ones that manage to get close enough into the ground.

After a long firefight the remaining stragglers are arrested or killed.

"Sergeant Lee, what the hell is going on?" comes in over the radio of the officer that had tried to peacefully resolve the situation.

"Its the communist party, they've gone violent chief... We lost several good men and women today." he replies to the radio.

"Damn it! They were lucky for us even allowing them to exist, everyone is entitled to freedom of speech and political views, but we shouldn't let those Commies exist!" the radio speaks back.

"We've managed to arrest over 20 of them, there are a few out here we haven't got to yet that are wounded, they'll receive medical attention and we'll bring them i-"

The man on the radio cuts him off "No, if these people wanna do acts of terrorism then they'll be treated like terrorists, execute them"

The man shudders and turns to the rest of the officers, yelling something out.

One by one the communists are lined on the wall, soon they are gunned down by the police.

Some cried after, feeling guilt, others shook it off without a care, for they were taught to hate commies and they had killed their brothers and sisters.

Dark clouds began to roll into the sky, and it rained, washing the blood out of the streets, but not washing the blood off of the officers hands.
