Oh, I envisioned the lockup to be intentional, so as to provoke the somersault over the track. Meh, whatever.

On the bright side, achievement unlocked! Rivalry! Whoop!

Yup. This'll be pretty exciting.

Also, once WGP2 begins there will be a few posts in that thread dealing with Jean's off season antics, what happened to him and his friends afterwards, and Jean acting as sort of a mentor to the driver I'm entering into WGP2. Basically doing everything but drive.

Juliano Lemos threw some gasoline into the heated discussion of the day. Good night.

@Esmerel

Franssen won the last two races in WGPC 14 (not 3 though), including the Grand Prix of Audioslava, which seems like the most prestigious race. She won two weeks prior to her 2nd victory, winning 3 of only 6 races and finishing well enough in the others to place 4th overall. Decent half season effort.

She also took MRT to its highest standings in the Constrictor's Cup ever... She came in at a time when V+T were dominating until she outscored them both in that 6 race stretch. She did this in a car that the previous driver scored 4 points in. Suddenly, MRT had the fast car. :D :geek:

Plus she was just funny..

This was a good season, the latest 15th edition. The real elephant in the room is why Maria's teammate didn't help his teammate higher up in the standings, pass him. Obviously that's the scorinator and sometimes a teammate just doesn't keep up IRL either. But that's happened a few races, aye? It's just a storyline I see through the numbers.

But she had a great season, along with Terho, Riker, and the other Red Lion whose name escapes me (sorry). IC Franssen was rooting for Maria. Red Lion got the Constrictors, but Nexus proved to have, maybe, the most consistent chassis. It's not easy to win just by long-term consistency.

Sorry, wasn't clear to me if Juliano placed the blame on Jean or Terho.

Also, maybe I wasn't clear either: the reason Terho went to the outside was because Jean closed him off towards the grass, then locked up intentionally to rocket Terho up and away.

And another mediocre race for Will in this sadly mediocre season. I won't be returning to the WGPC due to a lack of time, so I'll be writing a pseudo-retirement post that will explain why he sucked and why he won't be coming back.

Congrats to all the people with a successful first or second season though! Great stuff.

He clearly blamed Jean. He even avoided to celebrate his victory. He said Daly "hammered" against Talvela car.

I guess the more rivalries the merrier. There will likely be an extra post about the aftermath.

Oopsie, forgot that he didn't celebrate Jean's victory. Thanks for clearing it up though!

I think I'll leave Terho's RP with my last post, and save the aftermath for next season. What a ride, whoo-wee! Can't wait to RP Terho's second title defense score another championship next year :)

Well, I'll have my final post of the season up today, with Maria's reaction to all of this and also maybe something with Jeremy confirming his exit and new job with ART.

Also, I should mention that RBO Red Hill Racing is entering e-GP and recruiting for a second driver. Have someone from this series that needs more experience? Feel free to hit me up on this account via TG about that.

Currently preparing for Nexus Racing's last post of the season, which I intend to post hopefully tomorrow and definitely within the week; after that I plan to write up a self-reflection on my roleplaying over the season's course, if any of you are interested in my self-absorbed rambling and overthought.

Edit: This, particularly with WGP2 now coming up, is taking longer than anticipated. Come on, me!

If all goes to plan, team invitations should be getting sent out in November/December for next season.

Good luck in WGP2!
