As befits our people, our culture and our ways, our national sport is gladiator fighting. One can spectate or participate, but must be aware of the risks. A gladiator, if successful, can make thousands and thousands of Honours with great ease, all he (or she) must do is slay or incapacitate all opponents.

The history of gladiator matches is long and illustrious, from the earliest days of the High Empire. Great arenas were constructed, and slaves brought in from all corners of the empire to fight and die upon the sands. And when free men trained, hardened themselves and took to the fights, it became immortalised in our culture. Songs are sung of great gladiators and fights. There is only one law upon the sands; survive. There is no avoiding death if you cannot inflict it. Even today, after thousands of years, seats are filled as our people gather to see the fights of the day, to watch free men and women do battle with each other and slaves.
