Australian Gun Laws in the US?

As an Australian, knowing that we have the best gun laws in the world must really rustle the jimmies of any proud patriotic american.
But, since I know many will try to debunk me and say why guns are good for a country when everybody has them, please post your stupid and WRONG opinions below.

I like gun control threads as much as the next person, but do we REALLY need another one?
Gun control is like trying to solve drunk driving by making it harder for sober people to own cars.

Any accident you can walk away from is one I can laugh at.

Sadly, I don't think it would work in the US. *sigh*
There are just too many guns... So many guns. Not to mention there are a lot of people willing to join an armed rebellion as soon as the government tries to mess with their guns.
