The World is ever-changing; there is a shift in the balance of power as well as in what nations rise or fall all the time. Through blood and iron, many nations are formed; through that same blood and iron, many nations collapse. The World can be such a chaotic place; a seemingly endless stream of wars can do that. This world is different, however; new nations have risen, others have fallen. And others remain standing tall. With blood and iron, nations are forged.
With blood and iron, empires fall. This is the way of life. It is unpredictable - unknowable. If the unknown were knowable, however, it would not be unknown. The World has changed, and will continue to change. Fate shall see to who shall rise and fall through blood and iron. There is one thing for certain in all of this chaos; all of this madness. The World may change, but the story remains the same.
Hello, and welcome to my open world nation alt-history RP. It is going to take place in the 1750s. You get to decide what nation you play as. However, in this RP, things are a bit different. The nations of the world are different from our world - you can make almost anything you can think of, as long as you conform with other people's history. As more nations join, history might become more and more fixed; so I'd advise reading everyone's apps. This world is only bound by certain real life historical events. If you can give a good enough reason as to why they became rich and such, you can make any nation rich - of course, not to the degree of the larger empires. There will only be maybe four or five large empires. You can RP as real life nations or former real life nations if you wish, with a tweaked history.
I plan for this RP to be a bit of a sandbox for us to develop the world together, as well as for us to create a new timeline of sorts. Therefor, realism is at least somewhat required; but it doesn't have to be overly realistic. I hope you enjoy this RP, and without further ado, I bring to you the rules.
