Sereter City; 5:37 P.M.
The infamously powerful Sereter Cartel, under orders from Dezenap Lediers, it's leader, has unleashed a terrorist attack in the center of Sereter City this afternoon, primarily targeting General Haruan Plebos, and successfully killing him, after mister Plebos held a speech in which he promised to eradicate the cartels from the mainland, and then proceed to drive them off Revolution Island as well.
Mister Plebos was having dinner with wife, Landa, and his 15-year-old son, Rannack, at a luxury restaurant in downtown Sereter City. About twenty minutes after they arrived, a van driven by a cartel assassin smashed it's way into the restaurant through the glass walls, and around five other hitmen got out and opened fire on everyone inside with M4A1 carbines, before re-entering the vehicle and speeding off. There were no survivors, but everything was caught on tape from a security camera on the corner of the street.
Emperor Harkwald II has held a radio speech, expressing disgust for the cartel's actions, and sympathy for everyone affected by the event. He has also declared temporary martial law in Sereter City, and officially requested help from the international community in combating the ongoing threat the cartels pose to the country.
