Names for a country?

Does anyone have any ideas for a name of a country I would like to create? If you do, please share them. I would like names that would really sound like a believable country. Thank you!

What sort of country would that be, in terms of historical/cultural background and location?
The Confrederated Clans (and other Confrederated Bodys) of the Free Bears of Bears Armed
(includes The Ursine NorthLands) Demonym = Bear[s]; adjective = ‘Urrsish’.
Population = just under 20 million. Economy = only Thriving. Average Life expectancy = c.60 years. If the nation is classified as 'Anarchy' there still is a [strictly limited] national government... and those aren't "biker gangs", they're traditional cross-Clan 'Warrior Societies', generally respected rather than feared.
Author of some GA Resolutions, via Bears Armed Mission; subject of an SC resolution.

There's no reason why they can't have more than one nation, perhaps for different purposes or to try out different ideas, if they want: That's perfectly 'legal', as long as they don't try to have more than one nation simultaneously holding WA membership.
During my eleven years of playing NS I have accumulated over 180 nations that are still in play, as well as about 20 that I've allowed to die & don't plan to restore.

You know, NationStates now has a random name generator when you create a nation. One name it threw out for me (I didn't create any nations, just tried out the name generator) that was really nice was "Sirlan". Sounds like it could be a picturesque little Asian island or a sprawling desert sultanate.
