What side of the road do your people drive on: The right

Do roads have speed limits: Some do.
If so, where: The city limits. Freeways connecting the cities have no speed limits.
What are the speed limits: Ranges between 30-80 km/h depending on the area.

Does your nation have freeways: Yes

Does your nation have numbered roads: Yes
If so, what system do the numbers follow: The main freeways are numbered 1-7 by order of completion. Tributary freeways are randomly assigned a three-digit number. City roads, when numbered, are assigned based on their closeness to the (original) city hall, lower numbers being closer. (The actual system varies from city to city, but one example is common for grid systems (and is used in Neue Bayreuth in its "main" grid): "1st St." is the road directly to the east of City Hall, while "1st Ave." is the road directly north. "2nd St." is the one directly west, and "2nd Ave." is the one directly south. "3rd St." is the road directly east of 1st St., and so on.(This "grid-radial" system has admittedly confused more than one tourist.) Numbered roads in cities are usually considered "temporary" names, Frenequestans prefer to have them named. Exceptions include the streets of Unirove, Eagleburg, and La Vitabreve City, and 9th St. in Denniston).

Is it legal to do the following actions while driving?
Consume alcohol: Yes, but it is still considered reckless driving. (In other words, we don't bother until someone gets hurt or property gets damaged. If you can somehow make it home without causing an accident, more power to you--and some people have bioaugmentation that can help better judge road conditions even while drunk.)
Smoke: Yes, but don't expect the insurance companies to pay out if a fire starts in your car.
Eat: Yes
Texting: Yes; it is treated like alcohol above. Strangely, we still haven't figured out how to get people to effectively multitask with bioaugmentation or any other technical aid.
Phone calls: Yes; it is treated like alcohol and texting above.
Drugs: Yes; it is treated like alcohol, texting, and phone calls above. A few people even have bioaugmentations where driving skill improves when consuming marijuana.

What side of the road do your people drive on: The Right, because it is the right side to drive on.

Do roads have speed limits: Yes, the vast majority, anyway.
If so, where: Everywhere except the states of Daridia and Kyllera
What are the speed limits: 25-35mph going through built-up areas. 45-55 on mainroads, 55-80 on highways. 90 in some extremely desolate parts where you need to be going fast as all heck to get between outposts of civilisation.

Does your nation have freeways: Yes

Does your nation have numbered roads: There is no nationwide road numbering system. Individual states and territories have their own numbering schemes.
If so, what system do the numbers follow: There are over 100 state/territorial systems, many of which don't make a great deal of sense.

Is it legal to do the following actions while driving?
Consume alcohol: Yes, so long as the driver remains under the legal limit to drive in that state.
Smoke: Yes, of course.
Eat: Heck yes
Texting: No
Phone calls: Yes
Drugs: No

What side of the road do your people drive on: Left.

Do roads have speed limits: Yes.
If so, where: Every road, except for sections of the M1 and M2.
What are the speed limits: Typical speed limit is 30 km/h for residential areas, 50 km/h for non-residential two lane roads, 60-70 km/h for four lane arterial roads, 100 km/h for city freeways and two lane highways, and 120 km/h for freeways outside major cities.

Does your nation have freeways: Yes.

Does your nation have numbered roads: Yes.
If so, what system do the numbers follow:
M = Major inner/intercity freeways, maintained by the federal government. The only exception is the M32 in Philipswijk, which for a 10 kilometre stretch from Kimbara to Northcote is maintained by the Vandenbrink Council.
A = Less major road, usually starts as a main road or high street located in a city, maintained by the province the road is in.
B = Even lesser road, usually connects rural areas, also maintained by the road's respective provincial government.
T = Toll road, numbering is chosen by the company that maintains the toll road. Currently only two toll roads exist in the nation, the T2 in Van Hool City, and the T10 in Philipswijk.
The numbering scheme varies from province to province, apart from M roads, which follow the following scheme;
MX - Chronologically numbered, started with the M1 in 1958, and the most recent M road to be numbered is the M9 in 2009.
MXX - City freeway, usually becomes an MX freeway outside a city.
MXXX - Only example of this format being used is the M193 in Hogeborg, which is the name of the provincial A83 freeway in the city. Was made an M road in 1998 after the federal government funded an upgrade of the freeway, and afterwards took over maintenance duties with the approval of the New Flemish government.
