Federation of Allies Great Regional War RP (only for FoA)

Postby Kaitani » Sat Jun 18, 2016 6:40 pm

The Immobilian nation had always remained strong. One of two rival superpowers in the region. To the south we have Kaitani, an important ally in what is happening before us, a center of trade and commerce, an island nation. South after that is Norcourt, west of Norcourt lies Aclus. The nation attempted to remain at peace, especially after the blood spilled in the Carinian Revolution, which cost the lives of 1/10 of Kaitani's population. Suddenly, the zealous nation of Arganuta lashed out, bringing its aggression to its neighbors. Afrikaanza, who's moral leader King Krige (oh wait not in my perspective), had just been taken out of power by a coup. This coup had replaced the leader with a fiercely nationalistic one, wanting land for itself, dominance for the region. This was first shown when it annexed its islands to the north of it. Later annexing a small part of Bearstin. Bearstin and Arganuta, as well as Afrikaanza all shared nationalistic and imperialistic values, all wanting dominance in the region. Together they formed the Imperialist Powers. These nations all have grown aggressive toward their neighbors. All annexing land beyond the mountains of the region, and other nation's land. Immobilia sent its spies to see what was behind this and out of fear of their rival. They found concealed plans stated by generals during the Carinian Revolution for invasion of the island nation while it was weak from its revolution. This was halted by Krige for his empathy for the Carinian Revolution. This was released to Kaitani's leaders alone, Kaitani replaced Carinia as a nation after its violent revolution. The nation, a rival to Afrikaanza, had shown support for Kaitani, then later to Norcourt. Norcourt had been provoked by its aggressive neighbor Arganuta. Kaitani left Afrikaanza diplomatically, their trust shattered, it had just been reunited after the Revolution led to the creation of 18 independent states, which 17 were annexed by Kaitani after the War of Reunification. Sairia remained, it was angered with Kaitani, the two became local rivals. Tensions rise, armies are vastly growing on both sides, the people of the region are worried, a great war will occur. The fate of the very region's peace, relies on the choices of these nations

Emperor Black rummaged through the papers on his desk. The only words to describe his day was, mucho hablo. Talk. Talk. Talk. King Krige and him were constantly on the telephone discussing plans. He also talked to Arganuta about recent scientific advances and new studies that could benefit Bearstin and its army. He finally found the paper he was looking for, a report on the leaders of the other countries. In order to defeat his enemy, he must first know his enemy. "A good soldier knows that its easier to defeat a friend than an enemy," Emperor Black spoke aloud reciting an old Bearstinian saying. "Edward!" Emperor Black called, "fetch me some coffee! I need to focus as I read up on the... other side."

Breaking: Kaitani's legislative branch had called for a total embargo of the Imperialist Powers.
Current president Hesto Innoki read this with a frown. He knew this would cause hostilities between Kaitani and the Imperialists. Kaitani was a huge hub for trade with its convenient location within the region, not to mention the island nation was filled with resources. This would severely hurt the Imperialists and their ability to fuel their war machine, hopefully this would work. He has seen what war can do, he was a Rising Sun soldier in the Carinian Revolution. The nation was doing surprisingly well for a nation that just faced a 5 year long revolution that killed off 10% of the population. Innoki made a statement saying that Kaitani would obviously show support for Immobilia if war were to break out, but would not get involved directly unless threatened. He sat down, and let out a deep sigh and looked out his window, the great capital city of Paceral below, it would pain him to see his nation burn.

Emperor Black read the report about the embargo on the Imperialists. "Embargo?! Kaitani would not dare go that far! I must speak to King Krige as soon as he gets back from lunchbreak! For now, I will contact President Hesto Innoki and try to negotiate past this embargo." Emperor Black reached for the telephone next to his throne and waited for the President to pick up.

President Innoki was off reading reports of mass militarization across both sides of the region. He let out a big sigh, he had not been able to sleep very well from this stress he was facing. Kaitani was to be neutral, but threatened they were. He just made an announcement the day before of a military draft of all eligible men into the military. He needed half a million fresh troops in the case of invasion. Innoki also needed men for the navy to escort merchant ships, knowing the embargo would cause the imperialist powers to try to seize merchant ships. He heard his phone ring. He hesitantly picked it up. He recognized the voice on the phone, the imperialists were angry. "Good afternoon, your excellency, how are you today?" Even in times of hostility, Mr. Innoki still felt the need to be respectful.

A part of the story I must correct is the fact that Krige is still in power. He is taken out of power later on. Also if my posts are too long, please tell me and I will post a TL;DR from then on. With that said, let's get on with it!

ACT ONE:
AFRIKAANZAN PROLOGUE

King Krige waved once more unto the cheering masses of Afrikaanzan youth, before departing back from his balcony into the safety and comfort of his office. He couldn't help but smile at the effectiveness of his recent speech, as he reached into his engraved retired officers' cigar box. He looked to the closest member of his Loyal Guard, who had been faithfully protecting the entryway into his office. Krige pointed to the man to get his attention. The Guard, previously stone faced and serious, looked over to the King with curiosity. Once his attention had been given, King Krige put a cigar in his mouth, then tapped his desk, signaling the Guard to sit down. The Guard now looked nervous; he hesitantly made his way across the room and took a seat in front of the King's desk. Krige could sense the anxiety in the Guards posture, he attempted to reassure the young man by saying "No need to worry, son, I'm not going to holler at you. You've done nothing wrong, I'm just looking for a conversation, ya know?". Although his voice was deep and clearly demonstrated the amount of authority he had, this bit of information calmed the Guard. "Your highness, what matters do you wish to discuss with this Loyal Guard?", said the Guard.

King Krige inspected the Guard's appearance carefully before continuing on the conversation. With a neat and tidy gray uniform, dark blue eyes, a youthful but scarred face, and a standard military haircut, this guard was a perfect model of Afrikaanza's youth. General Krige handed the young Guard a cigar, which he didn't have the choice to refuse, and then spoke. "I wish to discuss matters of foreign affairs with you. As I can tell from the name and rank on your uniform, you are Loyalist Corporal Jagersen. I would like you to drop the formalities, as will I. You will now refer to me as Mr. Krige and I will refer to you as Mr. Jagersen. Despite you being a Corporal and I a King, we are now equals in this room. Are we clear?". Corporal Jagersen started to reply with a "Yes, your highness", but was cut short by one of Krige's now raised eyebrows. He corrected himself, "Yes, Mr. Krige", to which the King responded by lowering his eyebrow and donning a grin on his old, grey-bearded face.

"Good," said King Krige, "now that we are on level terms, I'm curious about your opinion on the current state of the world. I'm assuming you've heard of the proposed embargo on Afrikaanza, yes?". Jagersen nodded, but with a bit of confusion. Most Loyal Guards were not asked about current affairs, or even to have an opinion for that matter. Some exceptions did exist, but to talk to a King like this? It was the most odd and humbling experience he had this far in his life. King Krige leaned back, enjoying his cigar to the fullest. He continued, "So then, Mr. Jagersen, what are your thoughts on it?". Mr. Jagersen had to build up the courage to reply, but given a short couple of seconds, he responded, "Personally, Mr. Krige? I think it's wrong they call for an embargo on us. I mean, have we really done wrong? If anything, looking back to a part of history that you in fact were a part of, their people should be bowing down to you. But you chose to allow them to honor their own affairs after you had intervened and allowed them independence...and here they are, calling for an embargo on Afrikaanza. They have no respect for their history".

King Krige was pleasantly surprised at this young man's speech. He let out a hearty laugh, "Well done! Very well done! I couldn't have said it better myself, Mr. Jagersen!". Jagersen, who had been overcome with emotion on the matter, now laughed alongside the King. After the moment of hilarity had subsided, King Krige gave his opinion. "These Carinians seem not to understand some things. It truly is extraordinarily odd how they decided to change the direction of their diplomacy with us, without first speaking TO us! Their actions cry out for war, but I'm sure they could be reasoned with. The Carinians are over-exaggerated in their responses, but reasonable in the end...". King Krige's voice trailed off, his face turning very serious and grim. He stared at his desk for a few moments, then looked up to Jagersen, "Say my boy, let's suppose relations take a turn for the worse. War is a necessary, but horrible experience. It turns boys like you into men, but I have yet to meet a man who didn't inherit some form of a demon from it, whether through opiates, spirits, or self supplied grueling work. I can tell, despite thoughts scars you earned in training, that you have yet to see the 'elephant at the zoo'. Tell me, if things do turn for the worse, will you take the call and volunteer for the front lines?"

Corporal Jagersen was eager to reply, but their conversation was soon interrupted.

(OOC)
Krige still being in power changes everything. The Carinians would never betray him. They would just be horribly shocked and not wanna be friends with the Afrikaanzans anymore from hearing the plans of invasion
OC:
President Hesto Innoki pounded his desk after calling the Emperor. Of course! Kaitani is still supposed to be neutral! "Jakea!"
"Yes Mr. President?" Jakea, the president's secretary answered.
"Fetch me my plane. I must meet with King Krige and Emperor Black." He said rubbing his face in stress.
"W-whatever you say, sir." She nodded and left out the door.
Mr. Innoki climber inside the plane, in hopes of easing the anger the Imperialists had with them. His first stop was to be Afrikaanza, he phoned Krige to say he was doing this. Afrikaanza was the leader of the Imperialists and has had historic ties with Kaitani, so they knew this meeting was needed first.

Emperor Black sat in his throne room, sipping tea out of his tea cup and staring out the window at the city of Bearstin. On every corner, a Bearstin flag was waving and the military constantly held parades to encourage recruitment and instill national pride. Behind him sat his Foreign Adviser and his Defense Adviser. After studying the streets one last time, he turned around to face his comrades.

"Your highness," the Foreign adviser began, "I believe Kaitani's president wishes to meet with you soon."

"Prepare the palace for him," Emperor Black ordered, "I want the best meal from the chefs. I want to talk to him about the embargo over dinner." Emperor Black said remembering the phone conversation earlier that had led to the good president being pissed and wanting to meet with the leaders face to face.

"Yes your excellency," he said as he bowed and walked out of the throne room to carry out his superiors orders.

"And what of you?" Emperor Black said as he turned to his Defense Adviser. The man was an older man, he had served his father Emperor Darius Grey and Emperor Black respected him.

"I believe that we need to blockade our coast in case of an enemy attack. Also, we need to stack up our forces on the border with Diactree to defend against Immobilia and on the Afrikaanzan border in case they need assistance."

"Then go," Emperor Black said to the old man, prompting him to carry out his plan. The man bowed and then walked out of the doors of the throne room. Emperor Black then got up and walked out the doors, on his way to supervise the preparations for President Innoki.

Great War Prologue 2

ACT ONE:
AFRIKAANZAN PROLOGUE
(PART 2)

Across the hallway from King Krige's office, on the sixth floor of the Capital Building in Harwinsburg, was
a large and never-resting communications room. Deeper into the chaos of this room, one could make out an odd looking fellow who seemed rather bored. His oddness was not from his general appearance, which was very average and uninteresting, but rather this was found within his attitude of cynicism and unenthusiastic behavior. This fellow was Communications Sergeant Fieldings. Sergeant Fieldings expected a life of excitement and romance when joining the Army, but instead was met with disappointment when he was assigned to a career fit for a government intern, not a soldier. The only reason why he was not stationed within some exciting base abroad, was because of the militarization of the capital. Knowing this, Sergeant Fieldings was bitter.

One day, while a awe-inspiring speech was being given to a mass crowd of thousands, maybe even hundreds of thousands to the imagination of Sergeant Fieldings, the daily grind of dealing with incompetent foreign diplomatic messages was now being challenged. A wild beeping came from the equipment of Sergeant Fieldings, it was a message. At first, this did not phase Fieldings...but as he continued to type down the message on his typewriter, he became more and more aware that this was not a message from just anyone...by Jove, it was Emperor Black of Bearstin himself! Or maybe it was an intern of his, but regardless, it was addressed as if it was of upmost importance! A crowd gathered around Fieldings' desk, even the Minister of Foreign Affairs was amongst them. Once the message was finished, the Minister snatched the transcribed message from the typewriter and read with intense focus. Once he was done, he grabbed the Sergeant and lifted him from his desk, "Sergeant, this is a diplomatic matter that I trust you will safeguard with your life! Quick, go! deliver this personally to the King!", he ordered.

Fieldings ran, faster than he had ever done since boot camp. Occasionally, he bumped into a passing Officer, but this did not matter much to him. What he was doing right now was more important than those pretentious mutts. He couldn't help but smile at what he was doing, he was truly having the greatest moment of his life. He approached the door almost out of breath, and barged in without much reserve. The Guards outside the door trained their rifles on him, ready to pull the trigger at any moment. With haste, he half-heartedly explained that he was sent by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and if they had a problem they should probably- er...have a nice day with themselves. Once this was said and done, he entered the office and saw King Krige, obviously having a meeting with an important person. He rattled off, "MY LORD, I APOLOGIZE FOR THE INTERRUPTION AND ASK THAT YOU BESTOW FORGIVENESS UPON THIS LOWLY SERGEANT, BUT I HAVE COME DIRECTLY AS A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS, WITH A MESSAGE FROM EMPEROR BLACK OF BEARSTIN...eh, um, here you are my lord". He presented the message to King Krige, who seemed to be grasping onto what appeared to be a service pistol trained directly onto Sergeant Fieldings' forehead. The King's company, who was clearly a Guard at this point, also pointed his rifle at Sergeant Fieldings.

The King received the paper with his left hand and read what had been typed. As he read more and more, he lowered his pistol, also ordering that the Guard lower his weapon as well. The King politely looked towards Sergeant Fieldings and said "You are forgiven, Sergeant. But please, next time you have a message like this, do not just barge into my office like you did, or I'll put a bullet in you myself...if you're still alive after that, I'll make sure you're court-martialed fairly before a harsh military judge...". Sergeant Fieldings, despite being told off by his ultimate superior, kept his pride and was not embarrassed. According to the philosophy provided to him by his mother, all men are equal, even the King. This had given him much trouble in the military, but never interfered with his career...in excess, at the very least.

King Krige read and re-read the telegram over and over again, until finally he spoke to Fieldings, "Sergeant, I already have my response to this ready. Following my orders, you will deliver these letters to the Minister of Foreign affairs, and from there you will tell him to meet me in my office to have a talk about the behavior of those he sends...now go! Dismissed!". King Krige gave two documents to Sergeant Fieldings, who replied with a salute before leaving to carry out his orders. On his way out the door, one of the Loyal Guards "accidentally" tripped him, and later would take it upon himself to do the same thing every time he passed Fieldings in the hallway from then on.

Sergeant Fieldings was physically disciplined by his superior, but once again his career was still somehow intact. He was later given orders to send two telegrams from the King directly to the Emperor of Bearstin and the President of Kaitani. Due to the secrecy of these messages, he was now to be monitored intensely and his desk was moved into a room that locked on the outside. What an exciting time to be alive, he thought to himself, as he sent the telegrams out to their respective recipients.

After talking with Corporal Jagersen for a bit longer, King Krige asked him to continue on with his duties. Jagersen did as he was told and returned back to his post by the door. King Krige leaned back in his chair, closing his eyes and enjoying the peace and quietness of his office for a few moments...until he was disturbed by the familiar ringing of a telephone. Not many had access to his direct line and oftentimes messages were sent via telegram, so this was something of an oddity. He picked up the phone and was informed that an impromptu meeting with the Carinians was to take place soon. The timeframe set for this meeting was a bit of an annoyance to King Krige; however, he was pleased that talks would be taking place...wherever it was taking place. But that didn't matter, it was something that would be dealt with when the time required it. King Krige hung up the phone, got up from his chair, and then exited his office, tailed by a large cabal of guardsmen.

END OF ACT ONE

Having been hung up on, President Innoki frowned. Then, suddenly, Jakea knocked on the door. The president was startled form his messy desk. "Yes, Jakea? Come in."
"Mr. President, the Minister of Communications sent this just now, it was marked as top priority by the Foreign Affairs department."
The president's eyes widened with interest, "come, hand it to me." Jakea politely did. He read the telegram, and then looked to his personal telegraph to his left. It was just what he wanted. He had just encouraged the Legislature to halt the embargo in the process until he met with all leaders of the Imperialists. He replied back, as usual, in full respect and honesty. Now he just needed a time scheduled with Emperor Black. He frowned, he had to make peace with the nations that helped him to this chair he was standing in.

OOC: I typed this on my phone because I'm away from the computer all day so please excuse some possible errors.

IC: Emperor Black studied the man that had walked into his office. He was slightly taller than Black looking to be 6'3 and the man was muscular and had a fine looking goatee. In his hand, he had a report from the shipping docks. Getting a report from the docks was unusual but not rare. Emperor Black read the report carefully This cargo is classified. Only Emperpr Black and his trusted advisers should know what it is. Black knew what it was automatically, "I want to go down there and oversee the cargos transfer myself," ordered Black.

After an hour of arrangements, Emperor Black was escorted to the docks by four squads of commandos and seven tanks. He looked at the ships and sure enough, they were Afrikaanzan. A man who looked to be the captain approached him and bowed. "Your excellency." Emperor Black noticed the rifles pointed at the man and he signaled to his men to lower their weapons. "Captain I presume. I thank you for delivering me this shipment. Now if you know what this cargo is, I suggest you forget immediately." Emperor Black said before walking off to the ships. "Keep the cargo in the boxes! They will be unpacked at my palace!"

After hours of transfer, the cargo had arrived back at Black's palace. Black had left as soon as it got too hot for him. He sat down and thought about the day. He still had to meet with President Innoki and he was eager to discuss the growing aggression towards the Imperialists. The President would call when he was ready, and Black would be ready to meet with him.

President Innoki changed his plans. He would meet with Emperor Black first. He phoned him and immediately headed for his plane, modestly guarded by 4 men. He would set off for Bearstin. Hopefully, he prayed oh so dearly, that his people wouldn't need to endure another war.

Emperor Black awaited the arrival of President Innoki. The President and him had pressing matters to discuss and the Emperor was getting excited. In the mean time, Emperor Black was arranging the palace. "You," he said pointing to a servent, "line up Kaitani flags on the left." He then pointed to another man, "and you, I want Imperial flags on the right."

"Your excellency," a womans voice said from behind him. He turned around and noticed it was a commando squad leader. She was bowing and out of respect for her and her work as a Commando in the military, he bowed back.

"What is it?"

"We have locked down the city and have patrols at all corners of the street. Shall we order Tanks to protect the President when he lands?"

Emperor Black thought for a second and then nodded, "That is a good idea Commando..." He looked for a name.

"Commando Emme Jones, at your service," the Commando said introducing herself.

"I'm glad to make your acquaintance, Commando Jones. You are a brave woman and you serve your country well!" Emperor Black said before dismissing her to carry out her orders. He then turned to the chef, "I want you to study the media for as long as it takes. Find the President's favorite meal and combine it with my own. I want no mistakes!" The chef scurried off fearing for his life and Emperor Black walked back to his throne for his seventy-two year old legs were tired and they needed to rest. He thought about what he would talk about with the President.

President Innoki made a landing at Bearstin's capital. He didn't like the dead silence from the lockdown, and was slightly intimidated by the tanks used to guard him. Of the 3 presidents of Kaitani so far, all have traditionally been treated modestly. His automobile drove him to the front of the palace, he walked in politely and met the Emperor, bowing in respect. He shook his hand, and said a polite greeting.
"Good afternoon, my excellency, I hope to resolve between our two nations for a negotiation of peace, not only for us, but the region in general. I do love how you decorated the place," he said this as he looked at the flags around him and the respect he was given. "Our nations have been on good terms from the start, I was actually a solider in the Revolution, and I saw the Bearstinian regiments fighting beside us, but imperialism is frightening my people. But in any way, I thank you for this great amount of protection, and your hospitality. Shall we begin?"

Emperor Black smiled at the President warmly, "I believe we shall," he said as he led the President to a table. "Would you like to eat during negotiations or after? I asked my chefs to research and find out your favorite meal but if you think eating will interfere with talking, we can always eat later."

Aclus

These times were the depressing days for Aclus. 40 years ago the Aclusian people fought in Norcourts Civil war and World War 1 suffering 2 million Casualties. The Aclusian people then fought the Arcburn Crisis and World war 2, suffering another 1 million casualties. This left Aclus weak and vulnerable. Now Aclus is making a slow recovery, the Republic is crippled and it's only hope is 1 man, Geoff Histler.

A veteran of the Arcburn Crisis and World war 2 is gaining massive popularity through his facist speeches. A New Aclus, Reborn into the Greatness it once was before The Great Wars that tore Aclus apart. He then gathers followers for his Anti Republic Movement to overthrow the Government that is destroying Aclus from within and with enough organised and armed Guerilla fighters, they storm the senate building.

Once there they kill many of the senators and work their way to the Chancellors office, where Geoff Histler plants a bullet into Chancellor Vixus Milliano II. The Facist partys is now in control of Aclus. Once news of this spreads almost every person pledges their support.

Now The Republic has fallen. Geoff Histler now proclaims himself Kaiser Of the New Aclusian Empire. He then begins the full rebuilding of the Aclusian Economy and Military with a huge Recruiting and Rebuilding process.

Town Center Of Aclum

" Sieg Heil! The Aclusiana Empire!" Kaiser Histler says to begin his Announcement to the Aclusian People. The people the. Reply with the same thing.

"My fellow countrymen and women! We have endured through many hardships thanks to the Chancellor and his Republic. Now our hardships are all over, the Aclusian people can be happy again! We can become glorious! And I! Kaiser Geoff Histler the Second! Shall make sure that we Aclusians! Stay out of anymore affairs of the FOA!" Geoff Histler told the cheering people.

He may have said this, but he knew he couldn't abandon his Brother nation of Norcourt in the coming war.

Bamburg, Norcourt

Chancellor Alexander was in his bedroom, eating crackers and coffee, when a knock on his door was heard.
"Come in!" he said. A man in a dark blue Norcourtian Army Coat, walked into the room.
"Oh, Nichols, sit down" Nichols pulled a wooden chair from Alexander's desk, and began to sit. Alexander took a sip of coffee, and continued to stare at the man, raising an eyebrow, and taking another sip of coffee.
"Milord, I wish to see and speak to you." said Nichols, "But aren't you doing that already, Major Nichols?" Alexander said while laughing, "Do you not laugh at my joke?" he said,
"Well milord, I would be laughing, if it wasn't a serious matter that I have come to inform ye of.
". Alexander put down his coffee, and the cracker he was supposed to eat, and begun to look at the Major.
"Oh, I'm sorry Major, I have not known of yet anything' serious, to be paid much or more attention." said Alexander,
"tell me of this serious information, that you have brought unto me.", "Well sir...our brother nation of Aclus, has fell into rebellion and outrage, and is now ruled by a madman, Histler, and he is rumoured to be unbalanced as Caligula." said Nichols,
"Well, Nichols, I suppose I'm in a tough position as of now. We can't liberate Aclus, because we are allies, and the current threat of war with Afrikaanza, is troubling our nation. I guess all we can do is wait, and train our soldiers. I want you, and General Arthur to travel to Kaitani, and look for weapons to purchase for our army. I will pay for your trip, and allow you to bring some personal possessions, such as family pictures, or a handgun to protect your well being. Good luck Nichols, you were always one of my favorites.",
" you make it seem as if I'm gonna die sir. I can't help but take that with offense."
"We can never know what will happen. As I said, good luck.".
Nichols began to exit the room, to make his way home and pack for leave.

Major Nichols' Home

Nichols took down a large travel case from his shelf. In it, he packed a Browning HP , 30 Cartridges, and a picture of his lady. He kissed his wife, said his goodbyes, and drove his motorcycle to the airport.

The Town Of Aclum, Now Reformed

His Excellency Kaiser Histler has achieved many great things for Aclus that the Republic might have taken ages to accomplish. Kaiser Histler has rebuilt the Economy, Rebuilt the Aclusian Armed Forces by his motivational speeches of a new Glorifying Aclusian Empire. He has also decreased unemployment and broke through the Depression with a Strong iron fist. Corruption is also stamped out since the senate was abolished. Aclus was entering a golden age.

Today Kaiser Histler is holding a live broadcasted Military parade in the Town of New Aclum to show off the mighty Aclusian army he has just rebuilt. Aclusian soldiers will march into the streets and parade around the town.

Kaiser Histler has also stated that he will continue to aid Immobilias side in case of any war that would occur. But for now, Kaiser Histler has plans to become the strongest power the FOA has ever seen, no matter how much people don't believe so.

Emperor's Meeting, Bearstin
Emperor Black smiled at the President, "I would like to discuss the growing tensions in the region. I noticed that you halted the embargo on my allies and on behalf of all of us I am thankful. You know as well as I do that war with your nation would not be in anyone's best interest. I ask you, if war breaks out, please stay neutral." Emperor Black said as he looked sincerely into the eyes of the President.

Empress' Office, Bearstin
Princess Aayla Black sat at her office. She was just finishing her talk with a Military adviser about the situation in Aclus. Ever since her Mother's death a year ago, she had taken up the position of Empress all but in name. Given that she was heir to the throne, her father had let her start to make her own decisions that she thought would benefit the Empire. She decided to dial Kaiser Histler on the telephone and see if they could meet in person. Aclus would be a great ally!

The Negotiation
The president took on a serious tone, "War is not in my interest. We have gone through 2 in the past 30 years alone, the Revolution, and the Unification War. I was a soldier in the Revolution, and I am thankful for the Bearstinians and their assistance. But, if war does break out, and you and your allies were the ones to start it, I have no choice but to put an embargo. And that blocks off trade with the rest of the world, as most trade outs go through my ports, and into yours. And if I am threatened directly, or am even attacked, the army of Kaitani will be ready to strike. I will stay neutral until that said threat or attack happens. I do sincerely hope I don't have to go to war, 2 of you were my allies."

The Kaitanian Department of Foreign Communicatons
The vice-president, Elian Trok, was taking Mr.
Innoki's place while he was off with negotiations. Minister of Foreign Affairs stepped up to him for the report he was informed about. "We have just learned about a new, dictatorial leader in Aclus, he has built up their economy and military, but, he is somewhat worrying."
Mr. Trok let out a sigh, "There is no threat from this man unless said so. We are a neutral nation, they will not hurt us. But i will speak to the President about this, thank you."
