If so, how is alcohol in your nation regulated?

The age laws are remarkably complicated but are as follows:

Age 14: Beer and wine can be purchased at a pub/bar
Age 16: Beer and wine can be purchased at a supermarket/liquor store
Age 18: Spirits can be purchased at a pub/bar
Age 21: Spirits can be purchased at a supermarket/liquor store

How is drunk driving regulated in your country? What is the amount of alcohol in a person's system to be classified as above the legal limit of alcohol while driving?

It is illegal to consume any alcohol at all within 12 hours of operating a motor vehicle. Police have random breath tests (and will pull over erratic drivers), and any alcohol detected is illegal.

How much time does a drunkard get sentenced if caught drunk driving?

It depends on how much they've had, but at minimum it's a K800 fine and loss of licence for 12 months (repeat offenders lose license permanently) and higher levels of alcohol lead to higher fines or jail. If damage or an accident has been caused or there was a notable dangerous driving incident then 1-5 years jail is also a possibility.

Alcohol is indeed legal, and widely consumed.

There is no minimum age for purchasing/consuming alcohol.

There are no specific laws against driving while drunk, but if a driver poses a danger to others then he/she can be prosecuted regardless of whether drunk or sober.

If illegal, what is the punishment for alcohol consumption?
Two weeks in prison for the first offense, doubled each time thereafter until one year. This applies to consumption, production, and distribution; TurtleShroom law does not differentiate alcohol crimes.

If execution is prescribed, what method is used to execute someone guilty for consuming alcohol? N/A, alcohol consumption or distribution, etc. can never be punished by death.

If prison time is prescribed, what is the penalty from minimum maximum?
The minimum is two weeks, doubled for each offense. In the event of the time going over one year, the maximum sentence can be life in prison, but this is not usually implemented in practice.

Does your nation offer rehabilitation for alcohol drinkers?
Yes, people with significant alcohol problems can be sent to the State Hospital Service (which deals with mental health) to be forcibly made sober. They can also volunteer to break the addiction in lieu of jail time.

BONUS:
How much time does a drunkard get sentenced if caught drunk driving?
A person caught driving under the influence of any drug that inebriates or impairs the driver, depending on the realm he does it in, can range from harsher punishments like strokes of the cane to simple revocation of licensure. However, if a person is driving under the influence of drugs and kills any sapient creature, the punishment is a mandatory death sentence throughout the Empire.

If so, how is alcohol in your nation regulated? It can only be sold and distributed by non-Muslim businesses and hotels/resorts catering to foreign tourists. However, Muslims are free to purchase it if they so choose. While most Muslims choose not to purchase alcohol it is a decision left up to their own conscience.

How is drunk driving regulated in your country? What is the amount of alcohol in a person's system to be classified as above the legal limit of alcohol while driving? Any amount at all. Laasmistani society takes this as a very serious offence. fortunately it's also extremely rare due to public transit being abundant nationwide.

How much time does a drunkard get sentenced if caught drunk driving? Jail time. Length depends on the severity of the offence. If deaths from accidents while behind the wheel were involved then there's a possible death sentence for the offender.

Is alcohol legal in your country?
Yes

If so, how is alcohol in your nation regulated?
No person under the age of 18 is permitted to drink alcohol. Only religious exceptions are an acceptable excuse.
How is drunk driving regulated in your country? What is the amount of alcohol in a person's system to be classified as above the legal limit of alcohol while driving?
No person with a BAC over .05% may operate a civilian-grade submarine (the same rules apply to cars on land). Failure to comply will lead to a Ʉ 500 Shellcoin fine and possible jail term, if anyone is inconvenienced or harmed by the actions of the helmsman/driver. Offenders will be forced to enroll in a rehabilitation course for alcoholics and will be forbidden from operating a submarine or car for 5 months.
How much time does a drunkard get sentenced if caught drunk driving?
Imprisonment will only be levied if other submarine operators/drivers are inconvenienced or harmed by the actions of the drunk helmsman/driver; otherwise, the offender's vehicle will be confiscated, and the police will escort them their house. If the offender is found to be a nuisance to fellow helmsmen/drivers, they will be put in jail for a minimum of 10 days. Additionally, the offender will be charged if any harm occurs to marine life in the trajectory of the submarine's path. If anyone is killed due to the actions of the driver/helmsman, the offender will be charged with manslaughter and reckless endangerment.

Is alcohol legal in your country? Yes.

If so, how is alcohol in your nation regulated? Regulations are honestly pretty lax; there are no strict rules when parents are supervising their children's consumption of alcohol (though patterns of consumption can be used as supporting evidence in child abuse cases), while sale of alcohol is limited to those aged 18 and older. Sale of all varieties of alcohol beverage in most states is allowed through private liquor stores, while in Avalon and Theresina sale of hard spirits is only allowed through state-run liquor stores; in all states, beer and wine can be purchased at convenience stores and grocery stores as well as liquor stores. Restaurants, bars, and other relevant venues in all states are allowed to sell alcohol with the proper licensing.

How is drunk driving regulated in your country? What is the amount of alcohol in a person's system to be classified as above the legal limit of alcohol while driving? Drink driving on its own is merely a summary offence, and thus punished only with fines and demerit points; in practice, however, it is almost always found in conjunction with other driving offences, which add up into indictable offence charges and thus may also include suspension of licence and forced counselling for drug problems. The BAC that must be exceeded for a charge of drink driving to be laid is .05; above .15 and in conjunction with other events such as a car crash, police are allowed to go further and lay a charge of "vehicular manslaughter", the only driving-related offence that can land someone in prison (up to a maximum of ten years, depending on aggravating factors and whether or not parole is considered).

How much time does a drunkard get sentenced if caught drunk driving? See above. Around 98% of cases of drink driving do not result in any prison time for the offender.

Wine and beer are legal on the island and are imported from the mainland. There are no hard drinks. Residents know the technology of making low-alcohol drinks from local fruits. However, there is no alcoholism on the island, since there is a developed industry of non-alcoholic entertainment (video games, rides, libraries, movies, dances, concerts), and in addition, medical antidepressants and stimulants are available, devoid of the harmful effects of alcohol. Information about the dangers of alcohol is communicated to all residents, and work in industry and transport while intoxicated is not allowed.

Alcohol is a little complicated since most of our population consists of sapient equines, and equine livers have the ability to process alcohol into carbohydrates much, much quicker than human ones do - making them much harder to get drunk.

The most popular alcohol in the country is cider (most commonly apple, but can be pear or other fruit depending on area), but at 5-10% abv it isn't even considered alcohol. It's fairly normal to consume several liters of cider throughout the day for that burst of energy (although overconsumption is frowned upon as it can lead to obesity), and even young foals are allowed to drink a pint or two of cider for the same exhilarating effect that sugary soda has on human children.

Only substances above 15% abv are truly considered "alcohol" in the country. For the sake of "social lubrication" and recreational drinking, large amounts of fortified wines and ciders (20%-40%) are consumed. And those who just want to get drunk, tend to just consume pure spirits (70%-90%).

If so, how is alcohol in your nation regulated?
Alcohol above 15% abv can only be purchased and consumed by beings above the age of majority (18 for humans, equivalent age for other species)

How is drunk driving regulated in your country? What is the amount of alcohol in a person's system to be classified as above the legal limit of alcohol while driving?
0.10% BAC by volume

How much time does a drunkard get sentenced if caught drunk driving?
Prisons have been abolished. First offence is punished via struggle session (if victimless). If the drunk driving episode ended up in injuring another person (but not killing them), a geas spell is administered to the violator which strikes them painfully every time they try to get drunk over a certain BAC.

If so, how is alcohol in your nation regulated?
In Ascenia, drinking is completely legal. The federal drinking age is 18, but states can set their own laws regarding drinking ages, as long as they do not exceed 18 (since federal law takes precedence over state law). Of the eighteen states, ten have drinking ages set at 16, four have drinking ages set at 17, and four have drinking ages set at 18.

There is, however, a federal law that states that a person who engages in underage drinking cannot be prosecuted for attempting to help someone else who is underage drinking (by calling emergency services). Additionally, four states have laws that permit people under the age of 16 to drink with parental consent.

How is drunk driving regulated in your country? What is the amount of alcohol in a person's system to be classified as above the legal limit of alcohol while driving?
Drunk driving is a serious crime. The amount of alcohol to be classified above the legal limit is 0.04 BAC.

How much time does a drunkard get sentenced if caught drunk driving?
Drunk driving is a federal felony, but the actual punishment depends on several factors, including:

  • how much of a risk they posed to the public at the time
  • whether the person was enticing a minor to commit the crime
  • whether another person, or person(s), was injured or killed in the process
  • any previous offenses the person committed and how they were disposed of
