Winner's Reprise: Polkopia, Branka Larisa, Not Me

The stage started out completely dark and nothing was visible. At the first note, the outer rings on background of the stage slowly faded into a solid gold color. As the trumpet sounds played, four spotlights were trained on four men dressed in all different color outfits (Red, purple, green, and blue), where two were on the elft of the stage and two on the right. They each held a trumpet in their hands and mimicked the sound that the background music played. As they played, they slowly walked up the the front of the stage.

Once the trumpets stopped playing, the four men removed the trumpet from their mouths, jumped and kicked out, in what seemed like the beginning of a folk dance, before turning around and heading the the back of the stage where they couldn't be seen. Branka was now seen walking up in between where the four men were, her arms outstretched and flashing a toothy grin the the crowd. She wore a white dress, and a flower crown was placed atop her head. She stopped in the middle of the stage, held the microphone up to her face, and started singing.

I have never seen the world, never crossed the border.
Told myself I was sick of seeing this picturesque disorder.
Wanted nothing more than to see more of what's out there.
To meet new people and see what there was to see.

The background, while still predominately dark, lit up with golden stars draped on a night sky. As Branka sang the chorus though, lights shot across the stage floor of different shades of blue, gold, and white.

The trumpeters all come back into view, playing their trumpets and walking up on the stage until they're even with Branka. Right before the beat drops, they drop their trumpets in front of them and hold hands in a horizontal line. Once it drops though, the five of them do a series of complicated jumps and kicks in tune with the beat. Once it's almost time for her to sing again, the dancers retreat and Branka is left on stage all alone again.

Life is full of adventure, and I only want to see more
This need is something which I can no longer ignore.
Gonna go out and make something of my life.
But I'll be back one day, when my dream is achieved.

The dancers return, and the five of them repeat the same dance as before. Once the dance is complete, the four men remain on stage and Branka pushes them to the ground one by one as she sings.

Branka continues to dance by herself while the four men are on the ground behind her. One by one though they get up and join her, until all five of them are dancing again. The background now shows geometric patterns of all different colors. Hues of red, green, blue, yellow, purple, and anything in between fly across the background screen and LED floor as they finish up the dance. The five of them suddenly stop and Branka shoots her hand up in the air right when the song is ended.

"Thank you Talvezout!" She screams into the microphone, standing onstage with her dancers and with confetti and streamers falling around her.[/quote]
