So i was thinking I would start a RP that was some what like Dead Space and/or Doom with a twist of Silent Hillness to it. Anyone interested?

Well here, your character is on a mining ship that gets over run with scary monsters because apparently you mined something you werent suppose to. Its going to be based off of Dead space more than Doom but they are really similar.

I tried and messed once, but I'd love to give it another go. Absolutely loved Dead Space and playing at 3AM when I got jumped by those freaky-baby zombie aliens.

Alright, I think maybe two more people would do the trick.

Yeah thats a great idea! In silent hill, the enviroment morphs into the protagnaists fears, so that would make it all the more terrifying.

Character Name: Alex Morganov
Physical Description: He is 6'3", he has black hair. He is also well-built.
Fears: He is afraid of all his friends being killed.
Position on Ship: A maintanence worker.
Short Bio: Alex joined the ship after his family was brutally murdered by a serial killer in Russia. That is why he is afraid of his friends dying, he will fanaticly protect them. Being a maintanence worker has also taught him the ins and outs of the USS Valkyrie. He has only taken a few hours of english before he left Earth, so he has a thick Russian accent.

Bio: Lonlan served in the United States military as a fleet admiral. After retiring from the military, he became captain of a mining ship called the USS Valkyrie.

Name: Juniper Joy Constantine
Physical description: 5'9" well built, light blonde hair, green eyes
Fears: Being enclosed in a small space, having people turn their back on her
Position on ship: Lead Engineer
Bio: When she was five her brother, sister and parents were murdered by a religious cult. Since then everyone blamed her for their death and shunned her. She has suffered all of her life because of this. She has had many years of schooling relating to ships such as the Valkyrie thus became an engineer for it.

Physical Description: 5'11" Not particularly strong looking, brown hair, hazel brown eyes.
Fears: He is afraid of being lost by himself

Short Bio: Joshua spent most of his life on a mining ship, and was eager to work on one himself. The USS Valkyrie is his first assignment.

Physical Description: 6'7", lanky, black hair,one blue eye, one red eye and pale skin (the last two caused by spending too much time in the hazard suit)
Fears: Of being mutated
Position on Ship: Engineer (specialising in working in hazardous environments)
Short Bio: Would had finished top of his class had he not accidently killed his instructor during a training exercise. The academy made a deal with him, they wouldn’t reveal how the instructor died to anyone else on the condition that he filled a vacant post on the USS Valkyrie. He has a dislike to space, his misses’ the fresh air, the grantee of gravity and it being so hard to get a good glass of vodka.

Character Name: Alf 32A “Alfred”
Physical Description: ‘Alfred’ is a 1.5 meter tall humanoid robot, and thus is not terribly imposing. ‘Alfred’ has no real face, but rather a small turret which, if he hadn’t been defective, would have contained a rather nasty weapon; it now houses a plasma torch, which by all accounts can be used as a fearsome weapon. ‘Alfred’s’ body is well armoured, and can survive most impacts from antipersonnel weapons. His arms feature artificial human hands, and thus he can use most things a human can.

Fears: Darkness, death, weapons, being crushed, compacters.
Position on Ship: Miner, intimidator, computer technician, generally whatever new program can be loaded into his memory banks suitable for the task.
Short Bio: Alfred is a riot control robot, equipped with a state of the art A.I. system. Built to order by the Homolon Corporation, they are the single best force for suppressing rioters. ‘Alfred’, as he is called, is a defective machine. When his A.I. unit was connected to his body, something happened that shouldn’t have; he gained a personality. The Homolon Corporation concluded it was easier just to sell him off than to recycle him, and thus he became a member of the ship.

‘Alfred’ is a timid, cowardly thing, and absolutely hates getting into conflict with others, he does however have an imposing figure and when the crew shuts down his voice unit can be one of the most intimidating things to have standing behind them when dealing with various lowlifes, needless to say, ‘Alfred’ doesn’t get much say in the matter.
