Sorry, that is not how General works. You can't say "talk about whatever you want". You have to declare a subject to discuss (also in the title), possibly substantiate it with sources, state your opinion on the subject and ask the posters what they think about the subject and about your opinion. Also, there's no thread ownership in General, so you cannot say anything on the line of "my thread my rules".
Failing that, lock incoming.

No. This is not a debate topic. A debate topic has background material, you present your position, and then ask a question which allows others to then join the discussion. "Have an argument here" is not a discussion/debate topic.
