That's exactly why I'm making it its own nation. Australia was in the same position as Canada, pretty much its own country. Let someone else fight the pacfic war with America and Japan over there.

It just simply doesn't make sense historically. There has never been an "Australian Republic" in history, and due to it's horridly small population and nonexistent military of its own at the time( due to relying upon Britain for defence), it wouldn't last a single year in the war without completely getting annihilated. And it wasn't its own country, which is why I'm actually bring this whole thing up.

That is the map of Europe one year before the beginning of World War 2. You're using modern, post-cold war borders.

They don't really have blank templates, did my best to convert it. (Look at the USSR, Yugoslavia, ETC.)

I can always try to edit the map to make it corellate more with the time period. The only problem I'm having is the messed up borders of Poland, Germany, and the Soviet Union.
