Becoming an anarchy hellhole nation.

Postby Everlasting Torment » Sun Feb 21, 2016 4:55 pm

This is not my main nation. This is my nation that I am trying to make the worst place possible to live. I'd like to have the worst of everything: civil rights, economy, and political freedom, and I want it to be an anarchy. How can I do that? I've been around for a while, so I've already solved certain issues.

Currently I have these issues:
Wounded Veterans Demand A Helping Hand
Oh The Humanity!
Patriot Or Patri-not?

What options should I choose to either make my country the worst in everything, a complete hellhole, or a total anarchy?

And for future reference, what guidelines should I follow in answering my issues to keep my nation an anarchy hellhole?

It's not possible to have 0 civil rights/political freedoms and be an anarchy, as 0 means a total revocation of both while an anarchy means you relaxed laws enough that people can do whatever they want.
If you want 0 of each, ban as many practices as you can, and if you want an anarchy, allow everything.
I'm not exactly the most experienced in this, by the way, so if anybody comes around and sees that I'm wrong, please point it out.

For anarchy you need to have civil rights, economy and political rights at its highest rate
Having all 3 lowered turns your nation into pyschotic dictatorship which requires the 3 freeedoms (civil economic and politcal) at its lowest.
My Nation may or may not reflect my personal views.
Economic Left/Right: -1.63
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.23
I support high tax rates, do you?
Only losers would love their country without calling out its flaws Populism is an imbecilic belief that the commoner knows better than the intellectual.

Right. To become an anarchy, raise all three rights as much as possible, including the rights to do ridiculous stuff (legalize drugs, piracy, duelling, etc.). Sometimes you'll run into tradeoffs where rights contradict each other (often economic vs civil rights), so you'll have to decide which you need more, or just dismiss the issue.

There are also ways to make your nation more awful that don't involve the three main rights, such as reducing Compassion, Intelligence, etc. Try to cut all government departments and keep taxes as low as possible.

A nation having its three main stats at 0/0/0 can be a Psychotic Dictatorship, or an Iron Fist Consumerists nation, or even a Corporate Police State.
The difference amongst those three is the level of economic freedom, but any of them can have a zero-strength economy.

Becoming an Anarchy

Postby North-by-Northwesteros » Mon Feb 22, 2016 4:20 pm

If you want to become an actual total anarchy (not just one with WA category Anarchy, but one with actually no government spending pie "no detectable government spending" like mine), you'll have to always choose an option that involves deregulation and less government funding for things. Privatization will work, and generally things from CEOs or business magnates are good choices. But if any spokesperson wants funding, even just in one phrase, don't do it. If no options work, dismiss the issue.

If you want a terrible Government while making it an anarchy, just ban prisons, make guns legal for concealment, allow propaganda against the government. Etc.

What do you consider bad?
James 1:26-27, Matthew 7:21-23
If you claim to be religious but don’t control your tongue, you are fooling yourself, and your religion is worthless. Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. | Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’

That's the fun of playing evil nations, you know. Most good nations tend to resemble each other after a while, but there are all sorts of ways to be bad.

And the fun of it is one cannot readily tell your nation is really bad (and how much so) — e.g. I've made an apartheid nation with public shaming, that is still a Civil Rights so-called Lovefest. :eyebrow:

Basically red in everything: civil rights, economy, and political freedom. This nation is supposed to be a dystopia, a hellhole, a place you'd never want to live.

INTP, -4.25 Economic Left/Right, -4.1 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian, tastes like chicken.

Restrict people's actions as much as you can. Same with political freedom- if you get an issue with an option like "forget about elections, you know best", pick that one. Economy is a little harder- remember that economic strength and economic freedom are two separate stats. I'm not sure what will bring down economic strength.

My nation just became an anarchy today, I have just about the highest I can go on everything. I just said "do whatever you want" to every issue that came up.
It took a long time because I originally ran a communist country, but then I decided to use my political opinions instead of the worst options I could find.

These are good tips. In the past, I've had a lot of ease making my nation relatively charmless as a result of limitless freedoms. Also, for safe measure, spend very little gpvernment funds on welfare, education, things of that sort.. You'll have a wasteland in no time.
