I used a combination of different types of curved lines (bezier, etc.) to make my track which I plan to enroll next year:

I wouldn't freehand it though. Finally, I did look for a program to make a track, but since I couldn't find it on the first page with a vauge search query and I wasn't prepared to actually search deeper, I just opened up Paint.NET and was pleased with the end result.

Yeah your track looks good! I'm already looking forward to next season too.. Maybe some other race event will pop up between now and then.. Who knows?

And to be clear, Alexander is not retiring from the WGPC. He is taking a sabbatical for about 8 months to "calm down".

I really really really really REALLY want a rallying championship made, but I lack the scorinator and the time, probably. If I actually found a scorinator for rallying (WRC style) I would sure as hell make enough room in my life for a rally championship.

Rally would be cool. Some kind of GT would also be cool.. I should have joined this earlier. I didn't think I could RP racing.. lol.. But I get Gran Turismo flashbacks...

I have had some nice runs in go karts though.. lol

I suspect you'd be lucky to get a team next time out given no one would trust you not to have your driver quit halfway through the season.

Because sign ups are left open, in case a spot opens up. One may have opened. But you may or may not have to join an existing team. 2 others signed up here before you, so a team might have to pick one. There are two races left. They would probably want to sign the person who was most likely to RP well.

There are two races left in the season. It's too late for a track submission. One driver dropped out, but I don't know how it's being handled. A spot might be up. I can't say for sure if that team is looking to recruit to fill the void though. Even if so, there is a list of names that would be looked at.

Those who are looking for a spot might want to show they can RP. Fill out your bios. That's how I got added late. People want to sign someone who will RP, not just sign up and expect to win.. Effort shows..

To the surprise of absolutely nobody, the final race of the season might be delayed. I'll be without proper internet for the weekend, and can't give anyone an exact timescale for when the final practice, qualifying and race will be scorinated.

Thanks for your patience over this rather rag-tag second half of the season. There are some very niggly problems with the scorinator (mainly linked to presentation and ease of scorinating, not the formula or anything) that need to be ironed out before next season.

Good luck to everyone for the final race, and congratulations to Vilita for a dominating season.

I'm sure one could RP after it if they wanted to. If I got a good result, I might, just since it'll be the last chance to race RP in a long time. Jess has had a pretty good late season run. Hopefully I can submit a team next year, not sure how that's worked out.

Does anyone here have a rally (i.e. WRC) scorinator or can help me into creating one? I'm getting really hyped about the possibility of a rally championship but xkoranate's racing scorinator won't do.

I did host a rally series once in my region, but it was a bit bland compared to WGPC. I was the only person who RPed, and that's because in my mind I was the one who posted all the events and the participating nations would just add to the events that occured from a personal perspective (rally driver interviews, etc.). I didn't get much interest, first off, and secondly, the fact I used xkoranate's race option didn't help. If we did RP, I don't think I could have added RP bonuses; since it was based on lap racing, I made each lap a stage with the same delta time, and I scorinated everything in one go instead of three days of racing. It was exceptionally lame for rallying, a sport with so much variables such as weather, road sweeping, experience, road order, familiarity, and more.

If I had a scorinator in which I could add all those variables I could happily host a series.

I saw Hodori Motorsports was poking around. I'm not sure who alts that account or anything.. But maybe that was a hint at some GT racing? Anything that keeps the racing buzz going would be fun. These are hectic times with the Olympics and a few other sporks taking place/lined up. But any racing tourney can count me in as an RPer.
