So NSG, what do you think? Is is a wise diplomatic move to cover up and hide parts of your own cultural legacy in order to avoid possible offense with foreign head of states and/or religious leaders (Something similar was done for an official state visit of Pope Francis some time ago)?
My own view - in case anybody didn't figure out already
- is obviously No. In fact, I doubt Mr Ruhani possessed the audacity of demanding such a thing, it was probably somebody in the Italian authorities going full retard on the political correctness.
