I'm not talking in centuries past, I'm talking now. The USA has a system of white privilege and oppression of people of color that commit violence against them on the basis of their race. Targeting populations for their race, religion, or nationality is genocide. This shows how police target black people in the USA, committing violence against them so pervasively that it is every day. That is genocide which is happening.

So do you agree that the USA system is genocide against black people or are you a racist who denies white privilege?

GENOCIDE is the willful KILLING of people based on a race, religion, or nationality. Uncle Sam does not tell police to go kill blacks, they just do it anyway. I don't think any crooked cop wakes up and says,
"today, I am going to kill some black people."

Wow, so this thread is a mess.
Genocide is a specific attempt to target and eliminate a population for their race, religion or nationality (as well as other criteria). Police Brutality and Systematic Racism, while very horrific, is not even close to Genocide and saying that it's genocide minimizes the suffering of groups that have truly suffered genocide.
Also, that last comment.. What even? You're either a racist who denies white priviledge or someone who agrees that the USA is committing genocide? Okay then, I guess I'm a racist.
Is NS Summer Year-long nowadays?
