Ability:Progress is Power (all science buildings provide 5% increase in a city's production)
Unit: People's Revolutionary Soldier. 15% cheaper than the infantry, which it replaces
Building or Improvement: Freeways. Cost 50% less than Railroads, which they replace

Ability: Thousand Miles, Give or Take: Units gain two extra moves in the next turn if they have traveled atleast five tiles in this turn. Cannot activate twice in a row.
Unit: Market Gardener: Can attack anything within one tile of it after paradropping, unlike the Paratrooper, which it replaces.
Building or Improvement: Practice Range, +2 range to every Ranged Unit in any tile with this improvement on it.

Unique Unit: Heavy Artillery; like artillery, which it replaces, but can go twice in one turn

Ability: uits fight as if at full health even when damaged
Unit: Beserker (like the Danish Civ)
Building or Improvement: Mead Hall replaces the Colosseum creates same happiness but also +1 culture and +1 faith

I know not terribly original but thats honestly what I'd always imagine Vandario having
