Why is it necessary for a factory in Singapore to ship chairs to Bangladesh? Would it not be simpler and more efficient to just go down the street in your local commune and ask the local carpenter to make you a chair direct to your specifications? Each local carpenter would therefore only need to keep track of how many chairs they need to make for each community.
