The ACC Defence Division is an umbrella conglomerate comprised of numerous Astronean defence companies, representing the nation's combined defence industry. Astronea is a major exporter of arms and has a long history of manufacturing defence products for both domestic and foreign clients. This gives the Defence Division a distinct advantage in experience and quality, with some subsidiaries supplying Astronea's armed forces for over a hundred years. Talamnrath Precision Systems, for example, were established in 1897 and produce the majority of the small arms offered by our storefront. As a nation frequently engaged in military operations around the world, all of the equipment produced by ACC Defence Division has seen extensive use, and has been rigorously field tested to meet the high standards our clients have come to expect.

History of the ACC:

The Astronean Commonwealth Conglomerates (ACC) is a trade organization comprised of numerous Astronean corporations within the nation's three largest economic sectors (agriculture, energy and defence). The purpose of the ACC is to regulates price, contracts, quality control and infrastructure, both private and nationalized, encouraging competition and mutual growth among its domestic economy. The genesis of the ACC can be traced back to 1954, where the first drafts were drawn up by Parliament, hoping to centralize the nation's economy and modernize energy and manufacturing facilities in order to compete with foreign markets. Further amendments were made in 1976 in the face of a more global and digital market. Facing increasing competition, the ACC included more incentives to drawn in partners, including advertisement assistance, financial security, tax cuts and bankruptcy support nets.

ACC subsidiary companies are organized into separate parent conglomerates known as "divisions" under their relevant industry. There are three divisions altogether; ACC Energy, ACC Agriculture and ACC Defence (that's us). ACC partner companies are organized to design, produce, research and manufacture the various products and services which are marketed and sold by each division on the international market. Each division is responsible for the organizing, financing, sale and distribution of its subsidiaries' products. The Defence Division is the most productive division in terms of exports, and in terms of manufacturing, is unparalleled. All three Divisions have numerous facilities across all major cities in Astronea and in numerous urban centres abroad.

A foreward from ACC Defence's CEO
"We welcome the representatives of all nations to the official storefront of the Astronean Commonwealth Conglomerates' official Defence Division storefront. It is with great pride that we present to you, our valued potential customer, the very latest in Astronean defence systems. We cater to almost any military and nation, regardless of government type and prior military engagements. The only exceptions we make are for nations who have committed violent or hostile acts, military or otherwise, against Astronea or her allies. Any such nation's request for business will be automatically declined. We do also have standards that we ask that our customers uphold when accessing our storefront. These are as follows:

01: Please keep all orders and requests in-character, if possible formatted and written in a formal manner. See "Orders" for a template.
02: All shipments are processed in the order they are received. Calculating the prices of your order is not necessary but encouraged and greatly appreciated. Regardless of whether you do, we will calculate an accurate price of each order.

-Búraló PMV
Image

Unit Cost: $2,100,000
Recent developments in warfare have called for a modular armoured vehicle capable of fulfilling a number of roles on the battlefield. Developed in the late 90s and entering service in 2004, the PMV (protected modular vehicle) is equipped in many configurations, with a variety of weapon systems.

The Buralo’s primary function however is that of an APC. With excellent crew comfort, ride stability and suspension, the NBC protected, spacious and air conditioned crew and troop cabin is one of the smoothest rides of any military vehicle. It is also amphibious and has excellent mine protection. Its armour is capable of defeating up to 30mm APFSDS rounds, while ERA slated armour provides additional protection.
The APC configuration of the PMV is fitted with a 12.7mm TGM-99 RWS or a 40mm AG-96 in the same system, or alternatively a Saighead 30mm autocannon turret.

Weight: 16,000 to 27,000 kg (35,000 to 60,000 lb)
Length: 7.7 m (25 ft)
Width: 2.8 m (9 ft 2 in)
Height: 2.3 m (7 ft 7 in)
Crew: 2–3 (commander, driver, optional gunner)
8–12 passengers
Engine: DI 12 Scania Diesel or DC 12 Scania Diesel
405 kW (543 hp) or 360 kW (480 hp)
Power/weight: 15.6 kW/t (21.2 PS/t) (max weight)
Suspension: 8×8 wheeled
independent hydropneumatic suspension
Operational range: 600–850 km (370–530 mi)
Speed: over 100 km/h (60 mph) on land
up to 10 km/h (6.2 mph) in water

Performance:
The maximum road speed of the Buralo PMV is over 100km/h with an operating range of 800km. The vehicle can negotiate 60% forward slopes, 30% side slopes, 0.7m steps and trenches up to 2.0m in width. The vehicle can ford water up to 1.5m in depth.
The vehicle is fitted with two shrouded propellers, one on each side at the rear of the hull for amphibious capability: the swimming speed is 8km/h to 10km/h.

A dual power DI 12 diesel engine produces 360kW and 1,974Nm torque. The drive system uses ZF Ecomat 7HP902 automatic transmission with 7+1 gears.

The vehicle can also be fitted with other diesel engines like Caterpillar, Cummins, MTU to suit the logistic requirements of the customer country.
The driveline includes all-wheel drive, 14.00 R 20 tyres with run flat devices, disc brakes and central tyre inflation system (CTIS). The central tyre inflation capability gives reduced ground pressure. All wheels have independent suspension. In the suspension system there are hydro-pneumatic elements with optional vehicle ride height control.

Protection:
The vehicle has a very good level of mine protection and can withstand explosions of up to 10 kilograms (22 lb) TNT. The PMV has protection levels up to 30 mm APFSDS frontal arc, with armoured insert plates providing ballistic protection up to 12.7mm all around.

Variants:

-PMV "Iomproir" APC
Image

Cost: $1,900,000

The Búraló "Iomproir" APC version is fitted with the Protector RWS turret with 12.7mm heavy machine gun.
The Protector RWS turret has electro-hydraulic drives with 360° traverse and -8° to +48° elevation.

The gunner has a PERI-Z16A1 sight and NAE 200 day / night periscopic sight with GEN II+ image intensifier. ACCD/thermal camera is optional. Improved ride smoothness through fine tuned suspension and enlargened crew cabin makes the Iomproir ideal for transporting troops across rough terrains.

-Búraló KS-155 SPAG
Image

Cost: $5,500,000

The Búraló KS-155 is an advanced self propelled artillery system. Using lightweighted materials and state of the art manufacturing, a low profile KS-155 Toirneach 155mm artillery system can be mounted on the chassis of the Búraló for incredible mobility and accuracy. Fully stabilized, the Búraló 155 is able to practice "shoot and scoot" tactics, firing in one place before moving positions to avoid counter batteries.

Its rate of fire is between 2-4 rounds per minute, aided by the help of a semi-automatic loading system incorporated into the breach of the gun. Using shock bracket-mounted suspension and shock absorbers that are integrated into the fire-control system of the gun reduces the recoil force of the gun by up to half. The KS-155 implements a three-round burst firemode, allowing for a closer-knit time-on-target for batteries, resulting in near-simultaneous splash of three rounds fired from a single KS-155.[/spoiler]

-Búraló 120 TD
Image

Cost: $2,300,000

The Búraló 120 TD is a tank destroyer variant, fitted with a 120mm low-recoil gun equipped with a thermal sleeve and an integrated fume extractor, with 14 ready rounds in the turret and another 26 rounds in the hull. The gun can fire APFSDS (Armour Piercing Fin-Stabilized Discarding Sabot) rounds.

Secondary weapons are a 7.62 mm coaxial machine gun, and another 7.62 mm anti-aircraft machine gun with 4,000 rounds of ammunition. Aiming is achieved via an advanced fire control system and is equipped with a muzzle referencing system and a fully digital ballistic computer. The gunner's sight is fully stabilized and comes equipped with a thermal imager and laser rangefinder. The commander's station is equipped with a panoramic stabilized sight, an image intensifying night sight and a monitor displaying the image from the gunner's thermal sight. This allows the Búraló to engage stationary or moving targets while stationary or on the move, in day or night.

-Búraló JLR-82
Image

Cost: $3,400,000

The JLR-82 automatic breech-loaded gun-mortar system has been fitted onto a specially designed lightweight turret for an indirect fire-support variant of the Búraló. The JLR is able to fire a blistering 120 rpm at ranges of up to 5,800 metres, giving it a distinct advantage over tube-mortars in terms of firepower.

The JLR also has a wide variety of munitions available, being able to fire any conventional 82 mm mortar round, as well as ACC Defence's own proprietary munitions. These munitions include high-explosive, armor-piercing and smoke shells, as well as flares. The armor-piercing projectile, which weighs 3.1 kg, has a 75 g warhead that can penetrate 100 mm of armor. Upon blast, fragmentation shells produce 400 to 600 fragments.

Additional fire control systems and advanced ballistics and artillery computers allow the JLR to achieve pinpoint accuracy. Advanced GPS-guided munitions further enhance this accuracy.

-Búraló Skyranger SPAAG
Image

Cost: $6,600,000

Mounted on the Búraló chassis, the Skyranger uses a potent ammunition for its larger caliber 76mm automatic cannon. This SPAAG is fitted with lightweight materials and state of the art passive electronically scanned array radar with 360° coverage. Its detection range is up to 36 km (22 mi) and with a high probability to 45 km.

With an 8km maximum firing range, the Skyranger's main gun can engage air threats automatically or with manual fire using its on-board electro-optic sensors or with data fed from a command radar. While proving to be a powerful anti-aircraft weapon, the Skyranger also acts as an effective fire-support platform. With a fire rate of around 80 RPM, its HE ammunition is capable of demolishing all kinds of cover and defeating armoured vehicles.

-Búraló "Saighdeoir" SPAAG
Image

Cost: $4,600,000

A smaller-caliber self-propelled anti aircraft gun, the Saighdeoir uses a potent ammunition for its 35mm anti-aircraft cannon. Operating in a similar configuration as the Skyranger, this SPAAG is slightly cheaper but equally as sophisticated as its heavier counterpart.

With a 4km range, the Skyranger can engage air threats automatically or with manual fire using its on-board electro-optic sensors or with data fed from a command radar. While proving to be a powerful anti-aircraft weapon, the Saighdeoir also acts as an effective fire-support platform. With a fire rate of around 1,000 RPM, its HE ammunition is capable of demolishing all kinds of cover and defeating lightly armoured vehicles.

-FTA-02 Tarnus
Image

Cost: $9,000,000
The pedigree MBT in service with the Astronean Armed Forces, the FTA-02 Tarnus boasts an unmatched level of armour and firepower. Previous iterations were equipped with rifled main cannons; however combat experience showing the ammunition used by such barrels inferior to their smoothbore equivalents, in addition to the shorter lifespan of a rifled barrel led to the development of the 120mm cannon now fitted to all FTA-02s since 2007.

With second generation Iontach composite ceramic armour, regenerative NBC protection, advanced Respar ERA, a specially adapted Formun-APS as well as the Derna electrical soft-kill APS suite, the FTA-02 has no equivalent in crew protection and survivability. Its secondary weapons include a coaxial mounted 12.7mm TMG-99, an RWS consisting of 40mm AG-96 AGL and 7.62mm KN-4 LMG and a crew operated 7.62 KN-3AO GPMG, giving it a high level of firepower for defeating infantry.

It has a new integrated weapon control and battlefield management system, which includes a gyrostabilised panoramic day/thermal sight for the commander and gyrostabilised day/thermal sight for the gunner, both with eyesafe laser rangefinder. This allows hunter/killer operations with a common engagement sequence. An optional servo-controlled overhead weapons platform can be slaved to the commander's sight to allow operation independent from the turret.

A DSR 1,500 hp (1,100 kW) Power Pack with a transversely mounted MKD-9040 diesel engine coupled to Kerel DTM automatic transmission. Air conditioning comes as standard, as does a cooling system and air-intake filtration system for the engine. An auxiliary power unit allows the tank's main turret and systems to function without the engine running, decreasing heat and noise emissions, resulting in quieter operations and a smaller heat signature, while simultaneously conserving fuel.

Weight: 62.5 tonnes (61.5 long tons; 68.9 short tons)
Length: 8.3 m (27 ft 3 in), 13.50 m (44 ft 3 in) with gun forward
Width: 3.5 m (11 ft 6 in), 4.2 m (13 ft 9 in) with appliqué armour
Height: 2.49 m (8 ft 2 in)
Crew: 4 (commander, gunner, loader/operator, driver)
Armour: Level 2 Iontach ceramic composite armour

Main armament: A55 120 mm smoothbore gun with 58 rounds
Secondary armament: Coaxial 12.7 mm HMG, 30mm AG-96/KN-4 LMG RWS, 7.62 mm KN-3AO Commander's cupola machine gun
Engine: DSR 1,500 hp (1,100 kW) Power Pack with MKD-9040 diesel engine
Power/weight: 19.2 hp/t (14.3 kW/t)
Transmission: Kerel DTM automatic transmission
Suspension: Hydropneumatic
Ground clearance: 0.5 m (1 ft 8 in)
Fuel capacity: 1,592 litres (350 imp gal; 421 US gal)
Operational range: 550 km (340 mi) on road, 250 km (160 mi) off road on internal fuel
Speed: 69 km/h (43 mph) on road, 49 km/h (30 mph) off road

Variants:

-FTA-01 Factory
Image

Cost: $7,000,000

Cost-effective version of the FTA-02 stripped down to the bare minimum features. Mountings remain for coaxial weapons, but the primary 120mm gun is all the remains of its armament. Additional sensors, optical cameras and advanced electrical suites are stripped down and no additional armour packages are applied. This makes the FTA-01 cheaper and easier for export customers to customize with domestic armaments and modifications.

-FTA-02 AVLB
Image

Cost: $8,000,000

An armoured bridge layer variant of the FTA-02, the AVLB is designed to create a crossing over damaged infrastructure and otherwise impassable obstructions to travel-routes. The AVLB can carry a single 26-metre-long bridge or two 12-metre-long bridges. It can also be fitted with a bulldozer blade. The bridges are fully retractable and designed for repeated uses.

-FTA-02 CRARRV
Image

Cost: $7,000,000

The CRARRV is an armoured combat engineering and recovery vehicle based on a FTA-02 tank chassis, but lacks the main armament. In place of the turret, it has a large hydraulic excavator arm, which can be used to excavate areas, move obstacles, and deposit the fascine carried at its rear. The CRARRV is usually also fitted with a plough on the front, which enables it to clear mines, either detonating them on contact, or pushing them out of the way to clear a safe channel for following vehicles.

For self-defence only, it carries a 7.62mm machine gun.

For rapid mine-clearing purposes, the CRARRV can also tow a trailer carrying a rocket-propelled hose. This allows for a much quicker way of clearing a path for ground forces. The hose, packed with explosive, is launched across a minefield, and detonates after it hits the ground, clearing a 7-metre wide path for 230 metres.

-FTA-02 AWK (Arid Warfare Kit)
Image

Cost: $9,800,000

The FTA-02 AWK is a tropical and arid environment version of the FTA-02 designed for use in hot climates, specifically desert terrains. It features advanced air-conditioning suites, as well as an engine-driven mechanical air-conditioning mounted in the left part of the hull to cool the tank without the use of electric current, which could reveal the position of the tank. The turret is equipped with thermal tarp to reduce the heat-signature of the tank and better insulate the vehicle.

-Viiltäjä A-IMV
Image

Unit cost: $700,000

The Viiltäjä A-IMV (Armoured-Infantry Mobility Vehicle) is a small but highly protected mine-resistant, ambush protected (MRAP) vehicle designed for infantry transport, patrol and reconnaissance operations. It features an armoured capsule made of bolt-on armour materials. Its hull offers reduced visual, thermal and electromagnetic signature, while extended wheelbase results in large interior space.

The single compartment crew capsule houses modular seating to accommodate up to 6 crew members on two forward-facing, three rear-facing seats and two inward-facing, fixed-configuration foldable seats. Seating is designed to ensure easy ingress and egress, while the rear wall and roof hatches enable rapid deployment of troops on the battlefield.

The A-IMV is installed with a driver’s vision enhancer and enhanced situational awareness (ESA) system from Kjellran Technologies. The vision enhancer offers wider fields of view and avoids blind spots in order to enable safe navigation through dust, sand, smoke, light fog, and darkness. The ESA system integrates a driver’s vision enhancer, two DVE UltraLite thermal cameras and a DVE UltraWide vision system. The modular C4ISR suite aboard the vehicle incorporates situational awareness systems, improvised explosive device (IED) defeat systems and jammers to enhance operational effectiveness during missions.

The A-IMV is mounted with a reconfigurable integrated-weapons platform (RIwP), which can be armed with an AG-96 40mm lightweight automatic grenade launcher, an 12.7 mm TGM-99 machine gun, KN-3AO light machine gun or a VS-92 Snaithead missile launcher, and a long-range target acquisition sensor suite.

The dual-axis stabilised system is guided by a single or dual-axis independently stabilised sight system to increase the first round hit probability on the move. The universal missile platform also allows for firing of a wide range of existing ground platform missiles. The RIwP enhances the situational awareness with a gunner’s hatch and ensures the weapon reload under armour protection.

The vehicle features an advanced crew protection system, which offers integrated blast protection. The energy-absorbing floor and seats, as well as the wheel zone, blast deflectors to enhance occupant safety. The vehicle can be optionally fitted with a gunner protection kit (GPK). It is also equipped with automatic fire-extinguishing systems for increased protection.

Image

Unit cost: $50,000

The Roamik family of tactical utility vehicle is designed primarily around a 4x4 all-terrain chassis. It has been in service with the Astronean Republican Army for 40 years. It is primarily used as a light utility vehicle and has been adopted in a number of guises and body styles including fire engines, excavators, communication vehicle, ambulance, a lightweight model for air transport, snowplough, and six-wheel drive, amphibious and track-propelled versions. The Roamik began life as a civilian vehicle for rural and farm use, but its utility as a military vehicle was quickly realized, albeit with significant modifications to distinguish it from its civilian role.

The vehicle is in use by the Astronean military as well as a number of related commonwealth Forces. While it has largely been replaced in frontline use by more armoured MRAP-style vehicles, its services as a rear-echelon, reserve and reconnaissance vehicle cannot be understated.

The Roamik has been regarded as a reliable workhorse for the Astronean Republican Army (also used for the ARAF mountain rescue); and despite moves to replace it with alternatives, it is still very much in use. The Astronean forces vehicles commonly use the 2.5l four-cylinder HL49 engine (111hp, 83kW), which is simple to service and is not electronically controlled. The vehicle's alluminium construction is incredibly resistant to corrosion and is resistant to all manners of extreme weather environments. NBC protected versions are available.

Modifications for military use include: heavy-duty suspension, modified upgrade brakes, 24V electrical system, snorkel, black-out lights, Power Take-Off (PTO) shafts, winches, convoy lights, sun compass, electronic suppression for ignition system, blackout curtains, and weapons mounts for special equipment and small arms such as machine guns, recoilless rifles and more recently with an automatic grenade launcher. The LRRP long-wheelbase version has a weapons mount and is designated as the WMIK (Weapons Mount Installation Kit). Roamik Tactical outfits these vehicles with strengthened chassis, roll cage, weapons mounts (rear door, passenger side at the front, suitable for 7.62mm GMPG, 12.7mm heavy machine gun, VS-92 Snáthaid ATGM and also the AG-96 GMG grenade launcher).

Cost: $60,000

An extended-chassis version of the Roamik designed for long range reconnaissance patrols (LRRP). The 6x6 wheel drive allows for better traction on uneven terrain and loose soil/sand, as well as better mobility redundancy should one or two wheels be disabled.

The LRRP version comes equipped with a passenger side machine-gun pintle for equipping a general-purpose machine gun or automatic grenade launcher, as well as a top mounted weapon ring with 360° rotation for the mounting of a 12.7mm HMG or automatic grenade launcher. The larger chassis allows more fuel, ammunition and supplies to be stored, and a larger fuel tank extends the vehicle's range considerably over the standard Roamik 4x4 variant.

-RKA Logistics Vehicle
Image

Unit cost: $40,000

The RKA is a series of heavy duty, high mobility, all terrain logistics trucks designed by Tarin Automobiles. First entering service in 1982, the RKA comes in a variety of configurations, built with modularity in mind to fit a wide variety of logistics roles. Previous vehicles were built under multiple chassis, however the RKA line of vehicles is built upon the same design, but customized to meet different mission requirements.

Tarin designed water-cooled diesel engines of various power outputs and emissions compliance are used across the range, these including the TR441, TR0456, TR746 and TR898. The engine remains positioned conventionally (longitudinally between the chassis rails), however, the cooling pack is located transversally at the rear of the cab. This location offers protection from damage and blockage of the radiator with mud etc. when operating off-road. It also allows for a larger volume radiator to be used, which enhances hot-climate operating capability

A Tarin automated constant mesh gearbox with 12 forward and two reverse gears is standard fit, this coupled to a two-speed transfer case. A powershift-type fully automatic transmission is an option. rive axles are single tyre hub-reduction, and with the exception of the heavier tractor units which are full-time all-wheel drive for traction and torque distribution reasons, all models have selectable front axle(s) drive. All axles have cross-axle differential locks and there are longitudinal differential locks in rear (and front on 8×8 and 10x10 chassis) axle combinations and the transfer case. Axle weight ratings are 9000 kg or 11,000 kg for front axles, and 10,000 kg for rear axles with single wheels/tyres.

Front steer-drive axles (including the 2nd axle on 8x8/10x10 chassis) are sprung by a combination of parabolic leaf springs with progressively acting rubber assistors and hydraulic telescopic shock absorbers. Rear axles are sprung by inverted multi-leaf trapezoidal springs with radius rod and an anti-roll bar. A conventional rear bogie set-up is employed for 6×6 and 8×8 chassis. The HX45M 10×10 features hydropneumatic suspension for the rear three axles.

The standard tyres may be replaced by 395/85 R 20, 525/65 R 20 or 16.00 R 20 tyres if required. A central tire inflation system (CTIS) or semi-automatic tire inflation system and run-flat inserts are options.

All models can climb a 60% gradient, traverse a 40% sideslope, have an approach angle of 40 degrees, and ford 750 mm of water without preparation, this increasing to 1.5 m with preparation.

To meet increasing demands for crew protection on deployed operations the HX range was designed from the outset with protection options in mind. In standard configuration a blast-proof vertical split-windscreen is fitted, and a riot protection kit is available for the cab. For more significant threats an appliqué protection kit, for which vehicles are prepared to accept at the production stage, have been developed. Known as the Modular Armour Cabin (MAC), in basic specification these kits weigh around 1500 kg. The cab hard-top remains removable for air-transport if required. A swap-cab armouring solution known as the Integrated Armour Cabin (IAC) is also available.

The RKA series of trucks has been deployed as a troop transport, tanker, ambulance, weapon-carrying platform, recovery and engineering vehicle.

Some of the most essential equipment for any security or military force is the gear that its personnel wears. Working in combat environments presents a number of threats to health and safety, from shrapnel to bullet wounds, hearing loss to concussion. To combat these threats, a sizeable portion of ACC Defence Division R&D is placed in the development of new personal protection systems. These include new uniforms, camouflage, body armour and helmets.

Not only is it important that personnel have the best protection, also essential is the equipment they use for communications, the food they eat and the first aid equipment they have access to. As such, ACC Defence is working on bringing a variety of such products to the storefront, including IFAKs, a variety of communications systems and a selection of ration packs.

Until then, we are pleased to present the following products.

Scorpion Combat System
Unit cost: $6500 NSD

Image

Developed between 2013-2015 to replace the Astronean Military's current infantry combat loadout, the Scorpion Combat System was designed with future warfare in mind, building on combat experience in recent years and acting on the feedback of soldiers to create a vest, armour and load-bearing system that meets the needs of the modern warfighter. The new system features a vest with Level IV body armour plates, as well as a full MOLLE system for pouches.

The Scorpion Combat system uses the latest materials and offers the same protection as contemporary body armour but is significantly lighter, moves with the body more easily and produces a slimmer profile. The amount of protection employed can be scaled up or down to match the type of threat by adding or removing soft armour pads and hard ballistic plates. It is compatible with most modern ballistic plates and Enhanced Combat Body Armour.

The new lightweight helmet provides increased blunt impact protection, face and mandible guards for certain roles and a shape that is designed to work with the armour and daypack so weapons can be comfortably used even in a prone position. The helmet will stop up to a pistol round at close range or a rifle round at reduced velocity, fired from a distance.

One of the most radical innovations is an integral 'spine' - the 'dynamic weight distribution' system. The device is linked to the user’s waist belt and helps spread the load of the body armour, a Bergen or daysack across the back, shoulders and hips.

The system also employs a new quick-release mechanism – a pin positioned on the chest that when pulled releases the entire body kit.

A single unit comes with a full PCS Scorpion pattern uniform, Variable Combat Boots, combat gloves, ESS eye protection, MOLLE pouches and Level IV SAPI inserts.

Image

The Scalable Combat Vest (SCV) can be used for load carriage without any armour; as a fragmentation vest with soft armour padding consisting of a composite granular material but no hard plates; as a plate carrier with no soft armour; or as a full body armour system with soft and hard armour. It is compatible with both contemporary and Enhanced Combat Body Armour. Any combination of front, rear or side plates can be employed.
The SCV comes in seven different sizes for a tailored fit. Chest size and torso length instead of height are now used for measuring. Modified lower profile soft armour further reduces the bulk when compared with its competitors, allowing for more agility.
The quick-release pin allows the SCV to be removed in a couple of seconds with one pull. This applies when it is used in any of its configurations.
A lightweight webbing system is designed to be worn under and integrated with the body armour.
Both the daypack and Bergen are fully integrated with the rest of the torso sub-system. This ensures that they are carried close to the body preventing excessive movement of the load but without pushing the rear ballistic plate into the body. Both can be used in conjunction with the dynamic weight distribution system.
Pouches are made from one piece of fabric and fold flat when empty, minimising profile and the possibility of snagging.
The dynamic weight distribution system (DWD) contains a hard spine that takes the load and is linked to a hip belt. This allows the soldier to transfer the weight of his load from the shoulders to the hips or the other way via an adjuster positioned in the small of the back.
Troops and equipment need to be sized correctly for the DWD to be effective. Personnel will need a day’s worth of training and familiarisation with the kit.
Image
The DWD Spine Bar is a telescopic bar that acts like a second spine shifting the load carried by the user from his upper torso to his hips.
With a press of a button, the user can shift the physical load from 100% on the shoulders to 100% on the hips in increments of 15%. This can be achieved either while in a standing mode or on-the-move depending on mission or terrain.
Especially on long marches the ability to change the shoulders/hips load ratio while on-the-move was found extremely effective to reduce fatigue and improve cognitive and physical starting condition before entering intensive close combat act.
The shifting of the load (extending the Spine Bar) is performed by using the soldier ability to lift his shoulders as a force transducer.
Comes with 90L Bergen and 45L Daysack (pictured)
Image
The Scorpion helmet has a fixed shroud for the mounting of night vision goggles and a counterweight for neck comfort.
Its fit can be easily adjusted in the same way as modern cycling and climbing helmets.
The sculpted rear (see above) prevents interference with body armour or daysack when adopting a prone fire position.
It provides more protection to the side of the head and is 350g lighter than its predecessor.
The helmet can be fitted with both mandible guard and visor, or either, which provide face protection for crews in open vehicles such as Jackal or WMIK.

SIPS (Standard Infantry Protective System)
$3000 NSD

Image

In 2003, the Astronean Ministry of Defence opened a competition in search of a new modular infantry combat system to replace the aging "Võitluskupp" combat suit. Dubbed "SIPS" or "Standard infantry protective system", Its criteria stated the kit must build on the MOLLE system put in place by its predeccesor, with a focus on modularity, protection, mobility and comfort. The order was for an entire new loadout and camouflage pattern. Over the space of three years, ACC Defence Ballistics Group "Sud" worked on various designs for new boots, helmet and plate carrier, and it was not until 2006 that SIPS was finally unveiled. By all accounts, it was definitely worth the wait.

The new SICH (standard infantry combat helmet) took a detour from the usual PASGT style headwear of the past, and did away with its kevlar form, instead opting for a new lightweight Aramid composite fiber. Its distinct silhouette immediately separated the headgear from its forebearers, with adjustable headstraps, thermal liningfor insulationan and the option for installing a Rhino NVG mount.

The new camouflage pattern, christened SIPAT (standard infantry pattern), was found to be extremely effective in wooded environments, rated from carnifrous forests up to tropical rainforests for effective concealment. Its arid-environment counterpart "SIPAT-D" (desert) was equally adept at blending in with the sand, dirt and dust of dry climates. The pattern is printed onto PCS "Crye" fatigues, which comes with trousers, thermal t-shirt and fleece, as well as a gore-tex waterproof smock jacket.

Perhaps the greatest achievement of the SIPAT was the IPPC, "Infantry Protective Plate Carrier." Taking the philosophy of mobility to heart, it did away with heavy flak jackets and cumbersome webbing, opting instead for velcro and elastic fastenings. The vest quickly became a favourite of troops, who found themselves able to run, climb and crawl without the vest interferring with their helmets or backpacks. The IPPC can mount pouches anywhere on its MOLLE webbing. Dual interior radio pouches keeps radios tightly snugged in while being easily accessible. A centered kangaroo pocket will put a map or other critical gear within easy reach. There are hose guides for cables or hydration tubes. The IPPC is able to fit Level IV Enhanced Combat Armour plates (front and back) as well as side inserts.

As well as lighter combat boots, SIPS introduced a new combat belt, allowing new combat pouches and SLS drop holsters to be equipped with the system. Storage pouches on the rear of the IPPC allow additional ammunition and equipment to be stored without the need for a backpack.

Image
Features
Modular web attachment points on the entire vest profile provide maximum versatility.
The IPPC is front, back, and side plate compatible.
Similar to the SSCV, the IPCC features quick release tabs for front and back plate removal.
SIPS concealable rear adjustment in cummerbund style side panels constructed with elastic for comfort and ease of movement.
Padded shoulder straps with additional removable wrap around pads offer extra comfort and support.
A spine plate sleeve keeps the profile of the vest low and out of the way of its wearer.
The reinforced drag handle has high durability, allowing it to sustain high amounts of pull without snapping or tearing.
A centered front pouch provides easy access to maps, magazines, or utility gear.
Interior hook and loop attachment points for shoulder or collar soft armor provide additional protection.
Dual interior side radio pouches allow easy access and wiring of communications systems.
Image
Features
The protective structure of the shell of the SICH is comprised of lightweight aramid fibers, allowing for ballistic protection from fragments travelling up to 630 m/s and pistol rounds fired from between 5 and 50 meters.
The SICH retains these protective properties at temperatures from -50 ° C to +50 ° C.
The structure of the SICH allows for the unobstructed driving of vehicles in close crew compartments.
The SICH will retain its protective performance after exposure to decontamination and NBC processes.
With space between the ears and inner lining, the helmet does not interfere with hearing.
The SICH has a repair adaptability, which allows the wearer to carry out repairs in the field without special tools.
Ballistics testing has shown secondary fragments that have entered the helmet have been caught by the aramid lining with no penetration, protecting the wearer completely.
Being made of lightweight materials, the SICH can be worn continuously for up to 24 hours without irritation and chafing to the wearer.
The SICH can be camouflaged with both SIPAT and SIPAT-D helmet covers, as well as winter covers.
Quick-release straps allow the helmet to be equipped and removed quickly.
The secure fit on the head of the soldier keeps the helmet stable and inobtrusive during rigorous movement.
The SICH can comfortably worn in the winter due to the use of insulated thermal liner.

Caliber: 155 mm

A modern towed, helicopter-transportable artillery piece designed by Ukonnen Kinetics Group, firing a potent 155mm shell, the KS-155 is capable of reaching distances of up to 30 km using specially designed extended-range munitions. The design of the KS-155 is intended to be as light as possible to ensure maximum mobility. Its manufacture incorporates various lightweight materials such as alluminium and titanium alloys, significantly reducing the overall weight of the system which enables it to be lifted and transported by helicopter, being a fraction of the weight of other conventional howitzers. The Toirneach implements a three-round burst firemode, allowing for a closer-knit time-on-target for batteries, resulting in near-simultaneous splash of three rounds fired from a single KS-155.

The main chassis of the KS-155 is fitted with an Arras Automatives heavy-duty engine, allowing for the weapon to be self propelled at speeds of up to 20 km/h for purposes of short range movement, useful for moving batteries into place without needing to be towed by an auxillery vehicle. This, combined with the semi-automatic loading system, reduces fatigue on the crew significantly, allowing for more streamlined and efficient firing for longer periods of time without pause. The KS-155 has been incorporated into self-propelled systems based on the Buralo AMV chassis of armoured vehicles, using additional lightweighting technologies to allow the weapon platform to move quickly at speed.

The KS-155 is capable of firing a variety of munitions, including cluster-munitions, mine-laying rounds, ilumination and GPS-guided smart munitions. While ACC Defence manufactures and sells all of these rounds, the KS-155 will accept any conventional 155 mm shells for ease of logistics. The KS-155 is also easy to operate and easy to maintain, owing again to the semi-automatic loading system, which is ingeniously simplistic in its design, features minimal complication in firing controls, with elevation able to be adjusted via both mechanical and electronic control levers.

The KS-155 is top of the line for both firepower, range, accuracy and mobility, its ability to be lifted by helicopter unique among other contemporary 155 howitzer designs.

JLR-82 Vasara (Hammer)

Type: Towed howitzer/gun-mortar

Place of origin: Astronea

Production history:
Designed: 1980s
Manufacturer: ACC Defence Division
Produced: 1989-present

Unit cost: $92,000

Image

Specifications

Weight: 632 kg (1,393 lb)

Crew: 3

Caliber: 82 mm

Effective fire range: 5.8 km

Rate of fire: 120 RPM

Muzzle velocity: 270 m/s (890 ft/s)

Elevation: +1°/+82°

Traverse: 60°

Breech: Muzzle or breech loaded

Feed system: 4-round clips

Unit cost: $92,000
Caliber: 82 mm

An automatic 82 mm gun-mortar developed in Astronea in the 1980s, but not adopted until much later, the JLR resembles a light artillery piece more than a conventional mortar due to its wheeled carriage. Unlike conventional mortars, the JLRcan fire in single and automatic mode using four-round clips. Rounds can be loaded from either the muzzle or the breech, adding multiple layers of redundancy if one system is causing issues. The JLR-82 has served with the Astronean Light Infantry and Artillery Corps with distinction, being used extensively in counter-insurgency, urban and mountain warfare.

Troops found the JLR to be a versatile weapon, well-suited for dynamic combat theatres that required a lightweight indirect-fire weapon capable of both precise targeting as well as saturating an area with a large volume of explosive fire. The JLR-82 has found itself used in both defensive and offensive operations, becoming an irreplaceable weapon for area-denial and halting enemy advances, as well as suppressing targets, laying down fire support and smoke during the initial stages of an assault. It was found that a single JLR crew with enough ammunition could do the job of an entire mortar battery at half the effort, thanks to its multi-round clips eliminating the need to load a new round after every shot.

The JLR can be easily towed by small utility vehicles, and even mounted as a mortar carrier in specially customized armoured fighting vehicles. Astronean Light Infantry frequently mounted the JLVs on the backs of their flat-bed trucks as a makeshift SPAG, firing and moving, harrassing enemy targets with indirect fire before disappearing before counter-batteries could target them.

When looking for a versatile light artillery piece at a fraction of the weight and cost, with added features akin almost to an automatic grenade launcher with three times the range, look no further than the Vasara.

JLV-82 Adharc (Horn)

Type: Mortar

Place of origin: Astronea

Production history:
Designed: 1985
Manufacturer: ACC Defence Division
Produced: 1987-present

Unit cost: $52,000

Image

Specifications

Weight: 35.3 kg (78 lb)

Crew: 3

Caliber: 82 mm

Effective fire range: 5.5 km

Rate of fire: 20-30 RPM

Muzzle velocity: 225 m/s (740 ft/s)

Elevation: 45°–85°

Traverse: ±8° (without bipod repositioning)

Breech: Muzzle loaded

Feed system: Manual

Unit cost: $52,000
Caliber: 82 mm

The standard mortar of the AAF, the JLV-82 is deployed with a three or four man team. Initially introduced to augment light infantry with a more mobile fire support weapon, the JLVs quickly found favour among the Astronean soldiers who used them, and a contract was awarded to begin large scale manufacture and implementation into the AAF, replacing older, heavier and more inaccurate models. The JLV has a maximum fire range of 5,600 metres, with a rate of fire of up to 30 rounds a minute with a well trained mortar team. With a total weight of 36 kg, the weapon system is notably easy to quickly disassemble and reassemble in its three parts, this with its light weight allowing for shoot and scoot tactics of mobile infantry mortar teams.

The JLV-82 fills an essential mortarman role, providing fire support in a dedicated indirect fire role as an artillery unit, as well as a force multiplier as part of an augmented weapons squad, a tactic Astronean troops found instrumental for counter-insurgency.

The JLV is a proven and reliable design based on a tried and tested doctrine. It features all of the munitions used by the JLR-82, sharing the same caliber. Again, this cuts down on logistical strains considerably. Easy to use, easy to deploy and easy to maintain, the JLV-82 is the go-to fire support platform for infantrymen in need of bringing the hammer down in a small package.

AG-96 Kaatosade (Downpour)

Type: Automatic grenade launcher

Place of origin: Astronea

Production history:
Designed: 1996-1998
Manufacturer: ACC Defence Division
Produced: 1998-present

Unit cost: $65,000

Image

Specifications

Weight: 39.6 lbs (18.0 kg)

Barrel length: 415 mm

Crew: 1-3

Caliber: 40×56mm

Effective fire range: 1,700 m

Maximum fire range: 2,500 m

Rate of fire: 410 RPM

Muzzle velocity: 242 m/s (790 ft/s)

Action: Blow-forward

Feed system: 32 or 48 round closed-link disintegrating belts

Sight: Flip-up leaf sight, back up front iron-sight, picatinny mounted optics

Unit cost: $65,000
Caliber: 40x56 mm

The AG-96 is an automatic grenade machine gun in use by the AAF since 1998. Designed with durability, reliability and mobility in mind, the AG-96 has a reduced weight compared to other designs thanks to its use of polymer, action and skeletal tripod design. The AG-96 is used as a fire-support weapon by AAF troops both as an infantry weapon and mounted on vehicles. The AG-96 uses a reliable blow-forward gas design and has a maximum range of 2500 m.

Using the blow-forward design, gas pressure and the friction of the grenade traveling down the bore of the weapon drag the barrel of the weapon forward with the action, using enough energy to eject the spent casing, which exits from the bottom of the frame, and chamber a new round. The advantage of this system is that there are much fewer parts than other designs, resulting in a more compact and reliable system. Fewer parts means less complicated, which means less chance of malfunctions. It also means it is more easy to carry and maneuever, being able to fit a longer barrel into a more compact space. The longer barrel results in greater range and accuracy, without impeding on the weight or mobility of the system.

The AG-96 uses closed-link disintegrating belt-fed grenades, loaded via a feed tray from the left side of the weapon. The receiver features mounting brackets for a box magazine. The AG-96 uses flip-up ladder sights, and features a back up front-sight as well as a picatinny rail for mounting optics or targeting module.

To make the weapon ready to fire, the operator opens the feed tray, feeds the belt in and closes the tray. He/she then pulls the charging lever which can be found on both sides of the receiver. This will load the first round into the chamber and place the barrel and receiver in contact with one another. A safety catch on the trigger assembly of the weapon, located on the back of the receiver facing the operator, is set to fire, then when ready, the operator can now fire the weapon. Upon firing, the striker ignites the primer in the grenade shell, firing the projectile forward. As the grenade travels down the bore it drags the barrel forward. In this moment it is no longer in contact with the receiver. The extractor of the receiver holds the spent casing in place, and ejects it downwards out of the receiver of the weapon.

The AG-96 breaks down into a three-part system for disassembly and travel, consisting of the tripod, gun system and ammunition. Alternatively the weapon can also be realistically carried, fully assembled, by a single man due to its low weight. The carry handle on the front of the weapon assists in mobility.

The TGM-99 is a belt fed standard-issue heavy-caliber machine gun of the Astronean Armed Forces. Designed in the 1990s to replace the aging TMG-76, the TGM-99 uses a gas-operated rotating bolt design. Its weight is significantly reduced when compared to the TMG-76, able to be deployed on a bipod and carried by individual soldiers. It is frequently mounted as such, as well as on a tripod and mounted on vehicles. The TGM-99 features significantly lower than other heavy machine guns such as the TMG-76 due to its rotating bolt design. It has a mounting bracket and piccatiny rail for optics, and comes standard with a 4x magnification sight. The barrel uses high tech alloys in its manufacture, resulting in excellent accuracy.

The TGM-99 is well regarded by Astronean soldiers as an effective heavy machine gun due to its impressive accuracy and low weight. This makes the TGM-99 very useful during ‘limited warfare’ operations in urban and forest environments, as the HMG team can change positions almost as fast as the infantry it supports, and is able to fire from almost anywhere, including the highrises of urban buildings (through the windows) or even from the rooftops.

-Design:

The TGM-99 is a gas operated, air cooled, belt feed, automatic only, weapon. It uses a more or less conventional long stroke gas piston, located below the barrel which is locked using a rotary bolt with multiple lugs. The barrel is quick-detachable and is fitted with a highly effective muzzle brake.

The belt feed uses the same steel, non-disintegrating belts as the TMG-76. The standard feed direction is from the right, but the TGM-99 can be setup to feed from the left if required. Spent cases are ejected forward through a short tube pinned to the right side of the receiver.

Like the TMG-76, the TGM-99 has no firing controls on the gun body, other than a trigger and mechanical safety. Actual fire controls and charging mechanisms, be that a manual trigger with pistol grip and manual charging handle, or an electric solenoid trigger and pneumatic or electrical charging system, are installed on the mount. The TGM-99 retains the same mounting interface as the TMG-76, so it is used from the same infantry tripods, AA mounts or tank mountings. Due to its reduced recoil (thanks to the effective muzzle brake and buffers) the TGM-99 is equipped with a bipod, which consists of a standard gun cradle of the TGM-99 tripod (with pistol grip, charging mechanism and shoulder stock), with attached bipod legs.

The TGM-99 has iron sights as standard (hooded front post and tangent rear), plus a special rail on the left side of receiver, which can accept mountings for variety of telescopic or infrared sights.

Produced: 1976-present

Unit cost: $7,000

Specifications

Weight: 26.5 kg (58 lb) gun only, 41 kg (90.39 lb) with tripod

Length: 1,580 mm (62 in)

Crew: 1-3

Caliber: 12.7x100mm

Effective fire range: 1,200 metres (1,300 yd)

Rate of fire: 750-800 RPM

Muzzle velocity: 860 m/s

Action: Gas-operated

Feed system: 50 linked belts

Sight: Iron sights

Unit cost: $7,000
Caliber: 12.7x100mm

The TMG-76 is a belt-fed heavy-caliber machine gun designed in 1976. It as a rate of fire of 700-800 rounds per minute, and an effective range from 1,500 m (1,600 yd) to 2,000 m (2,200 yd) against airborne and ground targets, respectively. A loaded ammunition belt with 50 rounds weighs 11 kg (24 lb). The TMG-76 has significant recoil due to its caliber, and has since been replaced in frontline service by the TMG-99, although significant numbers remain in reserve and surplus storage.

The TMG-76 is realistically manageable in 2-3 round bursts, due to its heavy recoil. More than that would cause the weapon to become inaccurate. At its maximum range, the weapon will not reliably hit targets with precision, but general suppress the area being engaged. Despite these downfalls the TGM-76 is an effective, if somewhat dated weapon that is reliable and cheap to manufacture due to its stamped sheet metal construction and relatively few moving parts.

Design:

The TMG-76 heavy machine gun is a gas operated, air cooled, belt fed, automatic only weapon which fires from an open bolt.

The gas system consists of a gas chamber, located below the barrel, with a gas regulator and a long-stroke gas piston attached to the bolt carrier. The barrel can be quickly replaced in the field during sustained fire. The receiver is generally rectangular shaped, and is assembled from heavy gauge steel stampings and machined inserts with numerous rivets. Bolt locking is achieved by lateral displacement of the entire bolt to the left side, until its locking lugs are engaged with locking recesses cut in the insert attached to the receiver wall.

The bolt is linked to the bolt carrier with swinging links which control the longitinual and lateral movement of the bolt and, once the bolt is in battery and fully locked, strikes the firing pin to discharge the gun. The bolt carrier has several anti-friction roller swhich ride on the tracks cut in the receiver. The rear of the receiver houses a spring buffer for the bolt group.

The TMG-76 uses non-disintegrating steel belts with open links. Belts are assembled from 10-round pieces, using a cartridge as an interlink. The standard belt feed unit feeds from the right side, but any TMG-76 gun can be set up for alternative left-side feeding. The belt indexing mechanism is built into the feed cover, which swings up and forward for loading and unloading. Spent cartridges are ejected forward through a short tube, located to the right of the barrel.

The firing mechanism of the TMG-76 consists of a trigger lever with the necessary linkage to the sear, and a mechanical safety. Firing controls are built into the mount, in the form of a pistol grip on the cradle of the infantry tripod, or a firing solenoid in the cradle of the tank mount.

The standard mounting is either an infantry tripod, adjustable for height and intended for ground fire only, or a low-profile AA mount with mechanical traverse and elevation mechanisms and special sighting equipment. The infantry tripod can be folded down and carried by the soldier as a backpack using special slings. This tripod also houses a foldable shoulder rest (with a spring recoil buffer), a pistol grip with trigger, and a gun charging mechanism. This consists of a steel cable with a T-grip, wound on a spring-loaded drum, with a gear and toothed rack that connects to the bolt carrier once the gun is properly installed on its cradle in the tripod.

In its infantry configuration, two soldiers can move the TGM-76 across the battlefield, but can be for longer ranges if the gun is dismounted from the tripod. One soldier carries the tripod as a backpack, while the other carries the gun body. Each man also carries one ammunition can with a belt.

VS-92 Snáthaid

Image

Specifications

Weight: 29 kg (64 lb)

Length: 1,210 mm (48 in)

Crew: 1-3

Caliber: 152 Tandem HEAT warhead

Effective range: 150 metres (160 yd) - 9,000 metres (9,800 yd)

Maximum range: 10,000 metres (11,000 yd)

Muzzle velocity: 300 m/s

Guidance system: SACLOS laser beam riding

Wingspan: 460mm

Propellant: Solid-fuel rocket

Steering system: Two control surfaces

Launch platform: Adjustable tripod or individual vehicle

Unit cost: $875,000 w/ten missiles
Caliber: 152mm Tandem HEAT
Guidance: SACLOS laser beam riding

The VS-92 is an advanced SACLOS laser-beam riding ATGM designed to engage and destroy main battle tanks. The VS-92 is lighter than other ATGM designs of its role, though heavier than a shoulder-launched design. The VS-92 is able to engage targets at ranges of up to 10 km, and can penetrate 1300mm of RHA after ERA, thanks to its tandem HEAT warhead. The VS-92 entered service in 1992 and has since become the primary ATGM of the AAF.

The VS-92 is deployed as an infantry-transportable system and carried on vehicles such as IFVs, APCs and other utility vehicles. It may be deployed as a single system or as part of a larger, multiple launch turret that mounts as many as 4-8 launchers at one time. In this configuration, the vehicle is turned into a dedicated ATGM platform.

The tripod of the system may be adjusted to be as low or as high as necessary to fire over cover. It can be lowered to a near-prone position, while still retaining a stable firing platform. The feet of the tripod use stabilized entrenching hooks, which allow the weapon to be embedded into the ground for more stable use.

-Design:

The missile component is a fin-stabilized, solid-fuel rocket propellant development with relying on SACLOS (Semi-Automatic Command to Line-of-Sight) laser beam-riding guidance (the operator must continually point the designator at the target for the duration of the missile's flight envelope). It can support a HEAT (High-Explosive, Anti-Tank) or thermobaric (fuel-air explosive) warhead and weighs 29 kilograms, features a length of 1,200mm and a diameter of 152mm. It is effective against all manner of currently fielded armor protection, including rolled homogenous armour (RHA) and explosive eactive armour (ERA) blocks common to many frontline battle tanks. the VS-92's detonation mechanism is an impact fuze and is accurate to ranges of up to 10,000 meters depending on missile used, with accuracy rated within a 5 meter radius.

As an ATGM for ground forces, the VS-92 is deployed by a two-man team. But depending on the circumstances a single person can assemble and fire it. The two-man setup involves one carrying the launch tube loaded with a missile while the other carries the fire control system and day/night sight on its adjustable tripod. The VS-92 was designed to conceal its operator who could aim it while either crouched or lying prone behind cover. This is why the launch tube is mounted above the fire control system. This allows the operator to maintain a low profile, even prone, while only the launcher itself is exposed above cover.

The tripod of the launcher includes an optical sight, thermal sight, laying drives and the missile launch mechanism. The VS-92 is reloadable, missiles are kept in storage and transport containers. The operator uses either optical or thermal sight to detect and track targets.

The missile itself is capable of penetrating up to 1,300mm of RHA after ERA. Its tandem design means that dual shaped charges will first destroy any explosive reactive armour countermeasures, and second penetrate the armour of the target itself. This allows the VS-92 to defeat all modern armour threats, including those used by latest generation main battle tanks.

The VS-92 module comes in three main components. The missile launcher itself, with tube and warhead inside, adjustable tripod and fire control system. These components are easily assembled and disassembled, using basic screw-on methods to fix the parts together. The entire system can be carried and transported by two men across long distances with relative ease, making it highly mobile, an advantage over other long-range ATGM systems.

Turning and aiming the launcher is done by two handles on the lower part of the tripod chassis that allows the weapon to be aimed 360 horizontically and -45°/+45° vertically. A manual safety switch on the fire control system engages and disengages the electronic firing fuze. A seperate trigger will launch the weapon. The missile will follow the direction of the laser, meaning that the direction of the missile can be adjusted mid-flight, allowing for course correction and hitting moving targets.

Variants:

The VS-92 has a number of different warhead variants, including a thermobaric version which is capable of destroying structures and bunkers, albeit at a lower range than the tandem HEAT version.

The VS-92A is the standard version, with a range of 9,000m. The VS-92AM is an advanced range version with enhanced range and penetration, extending the range of the weapon to 10,000m and the capability of penetrating an additional 300mm of RHA after ERA.

Greetings,

Thank you for your interest in our product. Seeing as you are a newer nation, we'd like to inform you that the total price of your order is $4,400,000,000, a very sizeable amount. Our financial team would personally advise against this purchase as it may come at a heavy cost to your new and growing economy. We recommend scaling down the size of your purchase. Alternatively, you may wish to remove some of the upgrade packages on the product (ERA, APS suite, NBC protection) to reduce the overall cost of your purchase (a 15% reduction overall).

We look forward to hearing from you.

Unfortunately, governmental affiliations are decided by global politics and the governing of nations, as such you would have to pursue diplomatic ties through the correct channels, not a defence contractor.

That's correct, we currently have a large surplus of the requested product in cold storage, the first 200 of which shall be delivered to you by the 1st of March. However a manufacture order of 200,000 is quite frankly an almost insurmountable number and before we can commit to producing this enormous quantity of vehicles, we will first need the transaction to be completed. I would also like to remind you that this fee is also gargantuan in scale; one trillion, four hundred and eighty billion dollars. Can you assure us that you can safely process this transaction, and that your economy can handle such a purchase?

Again, production rights are reserved for allied nations only, if you wish to seek an alliance then I suggest you use the appropriate diplomatic channels.

The total cost for your order of 600 T-90MSM-FEP comes to $4,440,000,000, the first shipment is expected to arrive by the 1st of March, the second on the 10th of March and the third by the 20th of March. Thank you for your business.
