It is understandable that tempers are hot and people are upset, fearful, angry, worried, outraged, and so on. However, due to the volatile nature of the developing news story, the short tempers, and the event being an easy target for trolling, moderation is taking a nearly zero-tolerance approach towards trolling and flaming in regards to the attacks.
Do not expect unofficial warnings, we will most likely skip straight to *** official warnings *** for first-time offenders, and a short escalation up to 1 or 3 day forumbans for repeat offenders. You can review the site rules here, though really, it boils down to "Don't be a dick."
Do not post while you're angry. Step away from your computer until you can calm down. Posting while upset makes for hasty and ill-thought remarks, which in turn are more likely to be found in violation of the site rules than a post that has had time to sit and be reviewed in a calmer state of mind before posting.

Over a hundred people were killed in a series of explosions, shootings and a horrific hostage scene.
