However lately I've been considering changing my major to computer science or engineering, and getting a BS.
Is this possible? Is there hope? Or is it too late. I need advice! Thank you.

I mean at sophomore level it should be pretty easy. If you have taken upper level poli sci courses poli Sci will just become a minor. Or the courses will become elective courses.
going from a Ba to BS means you will have to take more Math and science classes, but that's not really a big deal.

Depends. My degree is technically a BS, but I never had to take a math course (my SAT score was high enough for me to opt out of the requirement) and the science requirement was 3 lab sciences, one higher than the BA hospitality requirement.

Certainly engineering and computer tech would give a slight (given the economy) advantage over political theory or any of the humanities, but that's not the only thing you should consider. Where do your strengths lie? What are you passionate about? Your advisor should be able to give you some aptitude and preference tests which may help.

how close are you to getting the minor in poli sci? because i would always recommend keeping your options open by tacking on minors if you are close to having them anyways and you find the subject matter interesting. also, throw a philosophy minor on for good measure, no matter what you do. philosophers have more and better sex than engineers and make more money than your standard non-engineering or math-based major holders.
